Aw, you're such a sweetie! thank you! I hope you enjoy any of their future works!
Dear @catstreet, you're way much sweeter and one of the most polite and heartwarming article writers I 'follow', not only because you put real effort and quality in your writings, but you also always respond with a thanking/joyful note to all of us! <3
yeh same... but i cried alot bc the father-daughter plot.. im soon going to uni abroad soon and imagining without…
Their moments during the last eps were really emotional and touching! I wish you all the best for your studies and this exciting new chapter in your life, but I'm sure your dad will have a hard time like you, but also be very happy and proud of you :D
Started this drama because of Jang Hyuk and managed to finish it only because of the father-daughter relationship. All the other relationships-subplots were messy, pointless or static, disappointing...
"Mr Sunshine" had all the necessary elements to become a real masterpiece: great storyline, impressive cast, huge production (cinematography, music, costumes, make-up). All five main leads, especially Yoo Yeon Seok (one of the most heartbreaking one-sided-love characters ever!!!), Kim Min Jung (one of the most jaw-dropping transformations - is she really the same annoying, average FL from "Man to Man"?) and Byun Yo Han (one of the most sincere and tragic atonements in drama-land), and all support actors were beyond perfect - just astonishing! But, for me, somewhere in the middle and through the end, there was something lacking in the progression of the story. The reason for me was that, after some episodes the setting became somewhat unrealistic: the Japanese Occupation and the Joseon Resistance were left aside at the background as the storyline was focused mainly on the Eugene-Ae Sin romance which was somewhat lacking, not only due to their too obvious age difference (Kim Tae Ri would have been magnificent if paired with a more compatible lead) , that lead to an inevitable innocent and platonic romance, but also to its many tiring and unnecessary back and forths, that made the second half of the drama a bit boring and that had an impact to almost every character's development (esp. Dong Mae - such a wasted opportunity of a brilliant actor and a compelling character...)
While reading your new article I was nodding in agreement! Totally agree with all your examples. I really love the way you think outside the box! You always give us well-reasoned articles with innovative perspectives, that set in motion interesting conversations among fellow MDL-ers! Keep up the good work :D
This drama surely is a raw gem! Funny, touching, fast-paced, unpredictable, perfectly edited! Both main leads really give life to their roles! Absolutely recommended!
For me, the first part was the most interesting, while the last the most repetitive and boring (a lot of fast-forwarding, like many others mentioned before).
Such a feel-good movie! The plot isn't something new - a typical high school romance - but the acting and the beautiful winter scenery of Hokkaido are the main reasons why this movie is just right for a winter weekend!
Such a beautiful movie! Realistic, heart breaking, but breathtaking at the same time! Poetic cinematography, mature performances from rookie actors and a touching, perfectly fitted music... Highly recommended!
And now I have more talented young actors to keep an eye on!

Such a delightful idea! A real pleasure :D
