A bold, gritty, dark, but also very heartwarming story, presented by a loud silence interrupted by minimal dialogues and a raw cinematography aesthetic... Han Ji Min was superb!
Thank you so much for reading the article and commenting on it! I really appreciate it! Hearing another comment…
I really like your positive spirit! Do start "Rebel"! For me it is one of the best historical k-dramas, with strong story and amazing acting from all actors - especially Yoon Gyun Sang and Kim Sang-joong, as son and father, were spectacular! I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did :D
You really put your heart into this article! So beautifully written! Even though you explained and analyzed such a frustrating issue and its different variations, you did it in a very enthusiastic and humorous way :) I totally agree with you that Yoon Gyun Sang does such a spectacular job at portraying someone who suffers from mysophobia. He is an amazing actor, multidimensional and dedicated to his roles (I remember him in "Rebel", where his character awesomely copied many micro-expressions of his father, even the way he talked and the tone of his voice...) The first couple of episodes both leads were a bit nervous and the comedy part was a little too much, but now they found their pace and the story is a pleasure to watch. Your No 1 most favorite moment is mine too - so cleverly done! :D

Congrats for your first article! Nicely written and very enthusiastic :) As I wrote in the comments of this drama, I liked it, although it could have been much better with this cast - it felt somehow 'procedural' and rushed (perhaps due to the short number of episodes?) and not that inspiring for such a real tragic love story...
I agree! What's refreshing is that he's self-aware of his growth and change. He holds himself accountable as he…
So true! I think the success of this drama relies on the two main leads' superb performances, as well as its masterful combination of comic, sarcastic and emotional situations.
I really love Baek Jin Sang's self-reflection process! Awkward, unexperienced, blatant, hilarious but so honest and emotional that makes me root for him all the way!
I really love that almost everything in this drama is the exact opposite of the typical case in drama-world: * the rich is a woman -mature, divorced, not arrogant, not ill-mannered, without a tragic past, * the secretary is not a servile flatterer, constantly physically or verbally bullied by her boss, * the chauffeur is not the parents' or company's spy, or the outlaw person for every dirty job, * the ex- is not plotting any kind of revenge, or fighting or bad-mouthing his ex- But I said I love almost everything, because we have the manipulative, abusive, bitchy mother and ex-mother-in-law to make our blood boil...
Funny, heartwarming and out of the box, this film’s message -through Chie's unique way of expressing herself and her view of the world- is that every relationship is unique and that communication, understanding and a healthy sense of humor are vital to a successful marriage!
A decent revenge drama, with an excellent acting, especially from Kim Hae Sook and Lee Kyung Young, both of whom delivered some strong emotional moments. There were some plot holes, some dragging episodes, some frustrating illogical events, but overall it was interesting and entertaining. Special kudos to Oh Dae Hwan, who delivered one of the best support police officers I've ever seen in k-dramaland: Oh Bong Sam was not dumb, not alcoholic, not violent, not 'dirty' but refreshing and cute!
Sorry this took forever, but I finished translating the movie. Enjoy~RAW: https://dorama.site/butterfly-sleep/https://rerips.com/butterfly-sleep/https://mkvking.com/butterfly-sleep-2017/Softsubs:…

Why only 6 episodes? :(
