All the main reasons why a love triangle in a drama can be annoying are in your article :D
After watching too many rom-coms, which is one of my fav genres, the most disappointing reason why the love triangles have become a tiring cliché is their predictability/lack of originality: we know what the ending will be from the first two episodes :(
I guess it's an easy and safe solution for some writers to fill the episodes, when they are out of fresh ideas or when they want to make an easy hit...

Cute college romance with adorable leads!
Many -but not unbearable- clichés, not that unique of a story, but leaves a fluffy, sweet taste!

I once started "Pee Mak" but just couldn't find something to make me finish it...
"If Cats Disappeared from the World" was an interesting movie with beautiful cinematography, but not the best of Satoh's work.
Even though "Along with the Gods" movies' genre is not really my cup of tea, I enjoyed them both - decent storylines, high quality production. The first was more adventurous, the second more sentimental and Joo Ji Hoon's irony and sarcasm was the highlight of them!
I've just added "Monster Hunt" movies in my PTW list :D

Beautifully written article, well-chosen images and gifs!

This drama was a brilliant mixture of action-thriller-comedy-zombie-historical elements!
The acting and characters were great, the music well-fitted, the cinematography superb.
One the best zombie productions internationally!

I found the story a bit simple and predictable and not too frightening or gory, but there were a lot of intense and suspenseful moments -the music wisely enhanced the angst-, as well as emotional moments and comic reliefs.
As @Pingukkie first posted in the drama's comments, one of its best moments was that scene in the prison, where the guy's head was stuck in the wooden board with the zombie... :D

The only minus was that Bae Doo Na didn't have enough screen time to fully demonstrate her awesome acting skills :(

I've seen and noticed most of the young actresses you portrayed and now I have a few more to keep an eye on!

Why would she be nervous? (: just curious.
Usually, when there is a comeback after some years, a nervousness/ awkwardness is evident during the first eps for some actors, but here this not the case!

Pleasantly surprised!
I didn't start this drama with high expectations (except from Lee Jong Suk), but I like it so far.
Lee Na Young is much better and less nervous than I thought she whould be...
Let's see what happens in the next couple of episodes :)

Ep. 19 was one of the most intense, emotional, cathartic episodes ever!
Hats off to all cast and production members!

Bittersweet touching, dark, but imo lacked depth and had some non-sensical situations...
It wasn't bad at all, but it could have been much better!

You can watch them in any order you like! They aren't connected by any means - only the concept is somehow similar.

Probably the best action-thriller-zombie K-drama, and definitely among the best internationally! While the story is more or less simple and predictable and not too frightening or gory, there were a lot of intense and suspenseful moments -the music wisely enhanced the angst-, as well as comic reliefs.
The acting and characters were great, the music well-fitted, the cinematography superb.

Then, you have to see him also in 'Reply 1988'!
In fact, imo all three "Reply" series are a must watch :D
