youku however always distributes to netflix and would have been the perfect platform to push twot into gaining major exposure

you should probably use the spoiler tag for your post. I don't think xiaonan will like lizan in the drama, based on trailers it seems they made a 2nd couple that wasn't in the novel (benjamin & xiaonan)

I really hope he spits on this platform and moves away from them forever they don't deserve him. 10 years and these ungrateful beasts have never helped his career in any form instead they have constantly held it back. if czy's luck with tencent wasn't so ill-fated I would have hoped for tencent to steal him away since they actually produce more guaranteed hit dramas.

hard agree with your last point. though i was gonna say maybe read the novel if you haven't, to get a better idea of what to expect cause the synopsis about survivor's guilt is definitely missing a lot of informed scenarios. if the drama is going by the novel which seems to be the case, some of the reasons for his ptsd are a lot more gruesome & intense than just the guilt.

maybe do some research before you actually watch it, make sure it's not too triggering. my hope is the drama is able to provide a somewhat healing experience to viewers who suffer from it while also creating the much needed awareness about ptsd💔
