bambi was almoooooosstttt reedemed herself, but then she just gets worse and worse. she only cares for her ambitions, well maybe pure too. she only lets herself be selfless when pure is around.
pure, well he's young and just started his career and shit, i get him but he's too dilly dally. basically Bambi 2.0 with people pleasure traits. they're soulmates. but idk if i should root them to be together or what.
diesel, he likes choking. he chokes people, some girl ended up in coma, he gets better but welp he made it worse when he choked dream. he needs therapy, i lowkey ship him and dream, but he needs to get better first
tokyo and dream are the only characters i thought less problematic, dream can be annoying sometimes, but she is such a lovely gal. how diesel only softens up to her? chef's kiss.

i just finished it, and i can say i am fully satisfied. i wish for SWL and LHC third collaboration, IT'S A NEED!

every cast, especially our phoenix squad chemistry and acting surpassed my expectation. no force or cringe comedic punchline, they added some storyline that didn't exist in novel but somehow make it work. it's rare to see casts that chemistry we could see and feel through screen and again they manage to do it. PLUS, i have soft spots for a found family trope.

mind you, this is a low budget drama, some mention how choppy the editing is and how cheap the CGI is. but the pace, the characters, the depths, and the storyline are making it worth it, more than i'd love to admit. we cant ask for more from this show tbh, it has everything. from horror, mystery, thriller, adventure and even romance. and each, they're doing it very well. i wont stop thinking about them, and i for sure will miss them SMMMMMM

i love when FLs show their vulnerable side once they are in relationship. god forbid women to have their own safe space..and she's not weak at all, she has her strong side up untill now, the reason she can't be impulsive like dark MD is cause simply she has people she cares for and dark MD has no F for anyone. YWS and chubby also arent completely helpless, i wish you could elaborate more why they had become annoying acc too you. as for Hongsha, who says she is a steady character? she was an arrogant, spoiled rich kid in earlier eps, but she has her redemption arc after cause MD show her how sincere she could be, by not leaving her behind and shyt. as for the ML, he is still focus on his mission while trying to save his girlfriend, try as best as he could not to sacrifice anyone he cares about.

how come you love this show, but find every single of the characters annoying? what makes you stay for so long and able to say that you love this show? im confused.

honestly, i agree! they should've done this instead. i think making this drama into 2 parts lowkey a wise decision. i mean, we supposed to have 7 arcs in total, and each of them are having its each level of depths. the previous one their doing it very well, but due to censorship we wont be able to get the rest of the eps. too bad, cause i wanna see more of them :(

yes! i see his future projects seem promising, i can't wait to see more of him. i can't see anyone else play as LR other than SWL. he is just too captivating in this one.

LR arc supposed to be the darkest amongst of the squads. i agree with some, that it is indeed a bad casting. leopard actress just dont match the whole vibe with this arc and maybe the drama itself LMAO, very theatrical whilst other cast act seem as if they're living each own their characters. she is like an NPC that are force to act as a villain. can i just mention that i think im growing to love SWL acting? i noticed he had growth interms of acting in bionic life. and i think he plays the character of LR so well in here. he brings new personas ( in a good way) to LR character. his haunting eyes, how devastated he looked knowing mudai will get hurt eventually, how his caring side for his friends or so they called squad radiates through his gestures and his money ofc LMAOOOO daddy LR. he is underrated in his own drama, i feel like he needs more appreaciation for casting as LR and able to make his character alive. ufortunately, they dont give LR enough justice in ep 27 28

i swear if this ended up being a OE, at least give us the season 2 with 12 or 16 eps i dont mind. same cast and everything. OR LET THEM REUNITE IN ANOTHER DRAMA

I'm gonna miss them when it's over. can I just say that they have one of the most sincere and genuine friendship in Cdrama? they've been there for each other through ups and down. the chemistry, the fun and silly banters between them didn't fail. I can feel how they cared and love each other sm, they're willing to do anything for one another.

this is how I see it
MD & LR are definitely the parents y'all, they're calm and providing, as well as wise. they're always giving good advice, and very much a backbone in the squad. when one of them is nowhere to be seen ( cao, wansan, Hongsha) MD and LR be lookin for them and saving them, panicking, and worrying something might happen to them

Cao is definitely the oldest one, a rebel at first then trying to get his redemption arc by being a well behaved child, thinks no one cares about him or left behind, but the parents actually have a soft spots for him.

Wansan is the middle child, a rebel and always get sum butt kicked from mudai, try to well behaved but somehow always ended up getting in trouble, tho he silently looking out for his friends and care about them

Hongsha is definitely the youngest one, reliable, hard headed but a softie girl inside, caring and stubborn. she is so underrated, I LOVE HER SISTERHOOD WITH MUDAI! they're just so soft to each other😭

LR running around trying to find and save them were funny. he's like " did you see my kids?" i swear nobody were a liabilty in this one, they're just quietly chaotic and messy. no means yes. yes means no. they always tend to do the opposite. unpurposely, purposely. we never know their next move.

YEAH! I could say I love the changes the drama have

ep 20 the siblings duo i never knew i needed. yi wansan and MD are lowkey funny and chaotic together. their silly banter and making LR as their shield HAHAHAHAHA

people are so funnily ridiculous. that kiss, this kiss. mind you, they dont even have romance tag on it. might as well watch corn if you desperate for physical touch that much.

I personally think all three romance and mystery element as well as the action packs are well done. They have proportional scenes, nothing too standout or annoying. the bond between characters also heartwarming and fun! I love every arc they threw in every episodes. sometimes drama with action and angst could be exhausting, but this one just well down. when the fight show is on screen, later a the romance one standout, then they show mystery element scene after scene, then the comedic relief after some heavy scene. that's why I've been saying, it's a fun ride so far

The romance also have depths, usually when drama have a romance as subplot they fell for eo out of nowhere, just for the sake of pallette cleanser. but I think the romance between MD and LR are lot making sense for MD who didn't have anyone to defend for her, for her life then came LR as her backup, willingly carrying her load without thinking that he can fix her or something. Also the comedy element here don't feel pretentious or force, both yi wansan and chubby are naturally funny. I love sisterhood between MD and Hongsha as well, how black MD only soften to Hongsha, and how Hongsha didnt see her differently after knowing about her DID. CAN THEY JUST RELEASE ALL EPISODE ALRDY??😭😭😭

OH ALSO! I love when FLS are both strong in physical fight but not afraid to show their vulnerable side
