enough about Zhou yiran as Shen Juan, let's talk about the female lead. cause everytime I watch dramas people only focusing on the male lead and barely mentioning about the female lead. i want to defend my girlies, who often judged as not pretty enough or not good enough with their acting. they always get hate for sum reason :')

Lin yujing character is supposed to be aloof and depressive. I love Lin yujing, she's a complicated character and that makes her relatable. when I read the novel, her inner monologue is always either she didn't know how express herself or to react to most of things. she's quiet but her head is pretty loud, but at the same time she is an Ill tempered girl, so when ppl tend to push her to her limits she'll explode impulsively. I believe in zhuang dafei's acting ability, she's a good actress and she has potential. she's pretty, and her dimples is indeed make me wanna poke it lol. when I read the novel I can definitely see Zhou yiran as Shen Juan and zhuang dafei as Lin Yujing. their appearance are pretty accurate according to novel ( at least in my head it is accurate. their heights, the dimples, the body proportions)

damn, cnetz are borderline psychopath somehow lmao too perfectionist. I've watch the first two episodes, it was pretty good. the sub is, well..ykno. but I've read the novel, so it was not that hard to understand.

i love the chemistry between the leads and their friends, so far ( Wang yiyang, He songnan, and even Li lin. they're so silly lol) love the tension the leads create. at first I was scared that they wouldn't be able to make the tension between the leads as natural as possible ( in novel, even if the genre is coming of age, they're pretty touchy towards each other, and in novel version they have that sexual tension) , but turns out I love how they build the tension and overflowing chemistry between the leads. their gazes, how they communicate, etc are pretty good. compare to other coming of age dramas, the characters are like real ppl not comical, and it has that maturity and melancholic vibes.

I've seen a lot of international fan comments , either it's on TikTok or any other social platforms. that they can't stop seeing Zhou yiran as any other characters other than as Zhang lurang. which makes me mad lmao, cause Zhou yiran as Zhang lurang or Shen Juan are totally diff characters, and I could see it immediately at the first glance. i didn't have any high expectations to Zhou yiran before, even if I like him in WIFTY as Zhang lurang. But man, he's a good actor...he always carries whatever characters he brought on the screen. whether him in falling into your smile as clingy boyfie, him in WIFTY as aloof but loving husband, or him in you are desire as a badboy but gentle towards his girlie. i hope it gets better tho, and I hope the scriptwriter won't ruin it


i somehow pretty confident about this drama, hope this doesn't disappoint us. other than this drama novel adaptation, iam patiently waiting for the sequel of hidden love. First frost and During the snowstorm ( amidst a snowstorm of love, starring by Leo Wu and Zhao jinmai)

and btw no I don't think her voice is dubbed. this is my second times watching her drama's. rock it mom and I don't wanna be friends with you, she sounds exactly the same. and I watch sum of her videos while she's talking? ( because at that time I was reading the novel, and trying to imagine how her voice would sounds like)

and since I heard it's an S level drama, I don't think they'll dubbeb the actors voices. I'm trying to find someone who also reads the novel, because I love the novel sm, I want to discuss about it so badly. and iam so excited for this one, compare to any coming of age dramas, this has diff level of maturity and melancholic vibes. that's why I can't wait for this one, the bond between the main leads are so strong and heartwarming.

I heard it's an S level drama, ( which is another diff level of cinematography, etc) and also I read the novel, and it was good. from the novel perspective, yes it is more mellow compare to WIFTY or any coming of age dramas. but it's pretty fluffy tho, it's mostly about growth and two people healed each other. compare to WIFTY, honestly I love this drama plots so much more. the characters has so much more depth and pretty relatable. but we'll see tho, I hope they don't change into sumkind cliche, can't decide female lead, or overbearing male lead, multiple misunderstanding drama. cause the novel has none of it. the FL is relatable ( i myself could see myself in her) and so is the ML ( he's a badboy with scary reputation, but so gentle with the FL )

i suggest you to read the novel. I do really hope they follow the novel version. fu mingxu, the SML is FL stepbrother btw, in novel version they don't have any love triangle shit, ykno making it weird like stepbrother fall for their stepsister lol. I hope they keep it that way✊😔
