IM TELLING YOU NO SINGLE DULL MOMENT IN THIS DRAMA. I usually skip scenes cause dramas always have the dull moment. The chemistry not just the leads but also the support roles felt so real, i believe that they care for each other. THE TENSION AND DYNAMIC BETWEEN THE LEADS?! AMAZING! finally a real adult romance...leads in their mature age and actually act like their age lol. i understand why they fall for each other.

Ye Liuxi with her fierce and sometimes shameless personality lol is a well match with Chang dong and his reserve, nurturing personality. they're different but similar at the same time, both are strong and smart.

I'm pretty satisfied with the ending, go watch it! YOU WONT REGRET IT, IT'S AMAZING! I'll miss them sm😭

I love the fights between WYY and his friends in ep 30. Sides characters often overlooked. And the conversion between them in EP 30 how WYY lost his way for the future after they graduated from Highschool is relatable..his friends know what to do, but then there's him. And I love how Lin yujing accompanied him. Lin yujing is indeed brother to brothers and sister to sisters. She's girl's girl and one of the boys at the same time. Love her!

I'll give this 8.7/10. i know compare to wifty and HL this year with better cinematography and production might be weird for some y'all, but here's why.

cons :
for an S level drama, i expected more. the unclean cut scenes, lazy director and compare to other dramas it has only two kissing scenes. i agree for all the tension they had are wasted. the title is awkward lol

pros :
I am personally very picky with my romance dramas. mostly they be too cringey and too much and i never get why the CP's fall for each other. yes, for the lack of intimate scenes but honestly I don't mind it at all. I've watched many dramas where there's no so much skinship going on, I always adore emotional intimacy more than physical intimacy. but these two have hug scenes that are seems very comforting and warm tho ( and without the kissing scenes, the actors nailed their affectionate scenes together. it gives me butterflies) and most importantly I don't find this drama cringey at all. they're so mature and reasonable. I've mentioned it so many times i love how from the beginning till the end they always have a proper convos which I barely see in asian dramas world. they sit together and talk about it. no silent treatment, no shouting, just normal agree to disagree. and I love how respectful they are towards eo, always give eo some space. not clingy. they have so many good lines, I can relate.

i feel so connected to Shen Juan and Lin yujing. especially Lin Yujing..she wants to be loved by her parents without feeling like she begs for it. i believe someone like Lin yujing needs someone like Shen Juan who understands without her over explaining it and someone like Shen Juan needs someone like Lin yujing who believes in him and keeps him grounded. i love how pure, genuine and organic they're relationship are. I can get why they fall for eo. and I feel like this is the most accurate friends to lovers. you still talk and act like you used to, nothing much changed. some people might find it boring, but I find it very healing and romantic. it deserves higher rating, cause compare to another youth drama with unreasonable mainleads and cringey story line this is better. well..just maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea. I have a soft spot for " we healed each other " trope. they are each other's home. these two are damaged people but despite that, they are still a good person and partners to one and another.

I'll rewatch it just to experience the differences between novel and drama. the story line still works, it doesn't get draggy or out of the place. i wish for ZYR and ZDF to be paired again in another drama with better production..because they have that chemistry, that reminds me of Zhu Yun and li xun chemistry.

also ZYR and ZDF are so talented. i feel like this drama challenge ZYR acting skills somehow. he has many emotional scenes here, which is good for him. for ZDF I don't doubt her acting, I've seen her in Rock it mom and IDWBFWY she's good. i love how I could literally see shen Juan's eyes are in despair everytime yujing cries. he looks like he's sad for her.

it's just unfortunate the hates she got, all because some fans haven't moved on from ZYR previous drama ( someone even dm me on mydramalist that she's ugly and not a matched for ZYR previous costar). but if I'm being honest, before I didn't pay attention enough to both ZYR and ZDF. now I guess I kinda like them. they seem promising. i hope in the future they choose different roles, I want to see them in action drama maybe? or contemporary romance. not youth drama but real romance.

my next anticipated drama is probably my journey to you, it looks epic ngl. but why they delay it again and again :') for modern drama I want to see during the snowtorm. I'm a sucker for slow contemporary romance😔✊ go watch ray of light tho, honestly it deserves high rating ( higher than the hypes one, if I'm being honest) but it's impossible, considering international fans would like to see idol dramas with pretty ppl more :')

If you remember this is also happen to Zhang lurang from WIFTY. idk maybe i dont remember it correctly. but I don't see the scene where his mom apologize to him properly? CMIIW and even if she did apologized, Zhang lurang will forgive her but ofc it is impossible to forget. same thing happen in forever love, xia Linxi mom's also a narcissists. At the end she could only forgive her and her bf could only convince her mom that her mom could trust him. Same thing in l&p Zhu Yun often rebels and her mom often being so controlling and at the end Zhu Yun could only forgive her not even cutting her off, and li xun could only again and again convince her mom he deserves her. I know it's always a thing for youth drama with problematic parents. We've seen it alot and called it cliche. But it's actually not. It happens in rl

i love them sm💞 the way Shen Juan talks to yujing's mom. In novel i admit it caught me off guard, cause I didn't expect shen Juan would come, confront her mom fiercely and take Lin yujing with him. I liked it when it happened, but if I'm being honest it's too impossible if it's happen in rl especially they were just bf and gf, not married. But I love how they kinda change the way Shen Juan talks to yujing's mom, with full sincerity and calmness. I love the way he tries to understand her mom but at the same time defended his gf without being arrogant. Yujing's and her mom are pretty similar. Both are stubborn and have strong personality. it only makes sense if both always argued with eo. Both can only be tamed by sincerity, and the need to be understood, and calmness. I know some people will hate the arc redemption for her mom, but honestly that's how it is when you have manipulative narcissistic parents. You always tend to forgive them either because you love them too much or maybe out of guilt and maybe you could leave if you brave enough.

despite the differences between novel and dramas. this storyline works. and I'm pretty satisfied with tonight's episode. the squad is back, other than the mainleads dynamic I also love the boys and Lin yujing dynamic.

i know most of you expect physical intimacy, since they have that tension from the beginning. but I appreciate their emotional intimacy more and more, it's so romantic more than anything else. i have friends, who dates their best friend and they pretty much act like how Shen Juan and Lin yujing act. nothing much changed between them and it's so nice to see this drama doesn't change this couple into this sudden cutesy whinny one. instead they have proper communication, and act like their age, argue like a normal couple but never pushy to the point it's annoying. but like most of you, im also hoping for more physical intimacy. in EP 15 I almost see none, in EP 16 it started to change. tonight's eps getting better. it has 30 eps and they are in their early dating era, they are their eo first love after all.

i love that the uncle story resolve quickly, and it only makes sense to focusing on overcoming past trauma first. i feel like it's necessary for them, to build more trust with eo..they get separated for a year. even tho they have that mutual understanding, it's important to have moments they need to overcome their past trauma together. so far, I like how they never implied the you save me I save you. instead it's always it's okay, we overcome it together. they don't decide and act like they know everything about their partners. but my prediction we will get more physical intimacy tho ( well I hope so..) it such a waste if they don't.

nope, except that one thing in their HS era. other than that none. also they never actually break up tho, just got separated for awhile.

i agree ep 15 is abit bland. 16 better but not good enough. I always had a beef with romance youth dramas, but always tried to watch it. hoping could find one that suits my taste

time and him are just right : smart likeable mainleads but there's love triangle and third party misunderstanding ( i skip alot)

our secret : good for the first 14 episodes then it got boring, and the story kinda all over the place. ( also skip alot)

wifty : no misunderstanding and fluffy but passive ML, and I felt like the secondleads had more proper convos together than mainleads, and honestly I like them more in their uni era than HS ( cause they had lil interaction) ( I did skip, just to get the mainleads interaction)

forever love : close to perfect, but still the third party was so annoying and the mother🙄

this drama almost has everything I like. smart leads with strong personality, good communication, an S level drama, chemistry, tension, their bond and how they equally do something for eo. but i noticed, there's sum random unclean cut scenes and the audio when Lin yujing sang was abit off it bothered me. so far they still have decent communication but I feel like the writer trying so hard to make a conflict between them, well so far there's no conflict but if they keep it going then...the misunderstanding wasnt a big deal or annoying for me, and it resolves immediately. so..but still tho i didn't skip any scenes idk what makes me didn't. but i dont feel tempted enough to do that

i do really wish they won't ruin it, their dynamic is so far my favorite. and also I don't think the script thingy was annoying at all, it was pretty childish yes but not stupid and it was kinda cute.

no worries! i feel sorry too, if you feel like my comment pressured you in some ways. i like WIFTY too, i so think Zhang lurang and su zaizai are an icon. I get why the drama gets high rating and popular, nowadays we consumed too many stressful drama. and WIFTY gave us a completely opposite recently and it was such a nice feeling. i get why many of you can't move on from it yet, because I do so agree that it's good.

I just kind of wish that people stop commenting this type of comment on you are desire or EFT drama page. cause I feel like it's pretty unnecessary, but maybe you can comment it on WIFTY drama page tho and maybe you can see how many ppl will think the same way as you. cause if ppl keep bringing up Zhang lurang or su zaizai 's name in any of their new drama, I feel like it could affect the watchers who wants to watch it. it's like a party pooper. I want ppl to give a chance for this drama, cause I like this drama.

and honestly idc about how whether these ppl like this drama or not, it's for them to decide. it is only normal to feel agree to disagree, and I personally love to rave about things I like especially books and movies. i like it because I like it not because the hype or ppl tell me so. i dropped many dramas recently simply because they aren't my cup of tea and that's okay.

same, idk if it's to early to say it's better than WIFTY. but I love Shen Juan and Lin yujian personality wise more. and I consider this drama as fluffy one, with abit of angsty but it only last for couple episodes tho and it's not because of third party but family circumstances. and after they met again, those two no dilly dally showing their feelings towards eo. and these characters definitely not lack of depth. not to mention, the tension and subtle things they did for eo make this couple much more believable.

this drama got me hooked since the 1st episode. i love how this couple has a proper communication and proactive, knowing that it's hard for them to express their feelings. But i do really hope they won't ruin this CP. and it seems like I'll be liking the second couple, gu xia and Fu mingxiu. i like gu ran and Jiang jia in WIFTY but their love story somehow didn't develop well. it didn't develop well, but somehow I feel like they have more interaction than the mainleads. it's hard for me to like any second leads couple cause some of them didnt well developed but I hope this one is good.

also I wish the secondlead couple doesn't take much spotlight from mainleads couple, cause I love their dynamic a lil bit too much 😩

I get over it alrdy, don't get me wrong i love it just as much as I love hidden love. i gave each of them 8.5, iam very picky with my romance dramas, because I get an ick pretty easily, i easily cringes. and surprisingly i enjoyed both of those dramas i mentioned. i love hidden love pretty much the same reason i love WIFTY, healthy relationship, great chemistry, the acting, good cinematography, and it's fluffy.

as for WIFTY, it is fluffy with healthy relationship and I love the idea of su zaizai vlogging. I love su zaizai but Zhang lurang is too passive sometimes ( which match his aloof personality ) and when he told su zaizai to shut up lol I get an ick..( I get why he did that, but if i were su zaizai I'd get petty. somehow I'd even ask myself how can even they get together? he loves quiet while she's pretty much a talker. I feel like he's just like the idea of her ) my point is that there's no slightest similarity between them and it's not believable enough for me that they can get together and stays for a long time. and I remember skip alot of scenes because I felt like the second lead in the first 14 episodes took the spotlight of the mainleads. I wanna hype it, just as much as u ppl hype about it..but I get bored at some part.

I feel like Zhang lurang is a green flag only because of su zaizai, without her we could never see that side of him. and when they are in university life, and got a job I can't see them as an adult somehow. i feel like they're not mature yet, even the support roles.

I remember commented in one of TikTok edits, basically the TikTok edit is about how green flag Zhang lurang is. and I quoted that if Zhang lurang is a greenflag than what is su zaizai?she literally the one who brings out the best version of him, ppl somehow failed to acknowledge Zhang lurang wouldn't be that Zhang lurang y'all and including me love without su zaizai..Zhang lurang is discredited by his family but somehow his character lack of depth and the whole idea of she saves me is..maybe it's just not my cup of tea. and also I'd sometimes questioned myself too, why su zaizai fell for him in the first place? she's so patient, if I were her I could never. and zhang lurang forgives his family very easily🥲 basically because his brother escape home and nowhere to found :') and that's it, suddenly him and his parents are fine. i love his uncle, i wish he could do more for Zhang lurang, defended him more because Zhang lurang was just a child. he doesn't deserves that. one thing I love about Zhang lurang is probably he cares about his friends even if he pictured as this aloof guy.

i love fluffy and relaxing drama, but if it's too comical, I can't stand it. I know it's an coming of age drama, a high school drama but there's also a lot of coming of age dramas the characters are not too comical, like Lin xi and ji junxing from time and him are just right or jia Zhenghan and xia Linxi from forever love. their love story for me are much more believable, although WIFTY for me so much better than time and him are just right. because ofc better production and no prolong misunderstanding trope because of third party. maybe because those characters are much more my cup of tea.


and back to it, I LOVEE SU ZAIZAI SM😍 i wanna be her and wanna be with her hehehe. can't decide. I wish I was as bubbly and sunshine like her, and as Patient as her, but also can stand up for herself. but I can't.

however i enjoy characters like Lin yujing, Lin xi or xia Lin xi and zhuyun more. maybe because I can relate to their personality sm, and you can see them in rl, so it's much more once again. believable.

i see this kind of comments everywhere, that they can't move on from WIFTY and it's so annoying. it's annoying not because you or ppl can't move on from WIFTY but because sum y'all commented this in you are desire content or maybe in EFT content. so immature, and somewhat disrespectful towards ZYR and miaoyi other costars and maybe ZYR and miaoyi themself. if you wanna comment about WIFTY then comment or say something in WIFTY social media platforms.

i promise you this is a non biased comment, I like Zhou yiran, Sabrina zhuang and miaoyi. and WIFTY in general. but I'm not type of person whose idolizing someone, to the point where I know everything about them and become their warrior keyboards even if deep inside i dislike some of their projects.

it is only an honest opinion, if you still stuck with WIFTY I suggest you to watch this drama. or maybe don't if you can't get WIFTY picture out of your head..I hope you ppl who commented this in any ZYR or miaoyi can give them a chance to star in other dramas, and watch it peacefully.

also love the color grading of this drama. not too bright, not too dark, not pastel pinkish or yellow, just enough.

i hope they can release the ost as soon as possible. because it's sooo good, no tacky ost, instead it's relaxing

i love both mainleads, not typical and refreshing. not your usual innocent, timid, bubbly FL ( I'm not saying being bubbly is bad, but we have a lot of bubbly FL alrdy. I want something new) Shen Juan isn't a bad boy, he's just misunderstood. infact he is kind and wise for his age, I love how flirty he is. i love how this couple is not dilly dally when they're showing their feelings,so straightforward. when they like it, they like it. and when they hate it, they hate it. both are also willing to understand eo, both are kind and capable even without eo companion ( they don't need change eo, because they're their own person) Lin yujing is Lin yujing, shen Juan is Juan..
