huh? I'm so confused, Yifan was literally reported being SA'D many time to police. For the uncle case, you don't know how hard hard it is to report your own family as your abuser. tho she never sees her uncle as her family, but her mom is and her aunt is. not even your family, the word of SA itself ain't easy to deal with. I mean..look, even Yifan as a fictional character being judge for it 😭 even if you see some recent news on the internet, there's this girl gets stalked by his ex, him invading her privacy, terroring her constantly. She reported him many times, for doing all those things, but none of them are listening. And you know what happened? her whole family's 💀, 🔪 by her ex. There's always consequences for SA survivor who wants to report their assaulter. And it's never an easy case. So mind boggling for someone to blame people who are literally suffering from something that isn't their fault.

- NPD family. Yifan's mom somehow feel guilty for not treating yifan right, but at the same time feel entitled to yifan achievement or her efforts, simply because she thought she is her mom. 9 months carrying Yifan in her wombs. but also ended up neglecting her at the same time.
- the villains aren't just fillers, every single one of them to show Yifan strength for herself and how patient sang yan is with Yifan for 8 years.
-interms of as a character Sang Yan tho he is so head over heels with Yifan, and was heart broken by her, he never neglected himself or his future. He continues his life, while still think about her, her well being, etc. He's not an NPC character with no depth, silly boy chasing his love interest.
- I've never seen an autistic spectrum representation in asian drama universe as accurate as this drama. tho they never mention Yifan has one, as someone who has one, it means alot to me that ZRN able to represent the character of Yifan herself very well. Her timidness, her strength, her cluelessness interms of regulating her emotions or her well being, everything is perfect imo
- THE CINEMATOGRAPHY! I love how this drama captured their beautiful moments. it felt very genuine and heartwarming. every scenes didn't feel empty or meaningless, like it meant something.
- THE ACTING OFC! Ngl, I expected other actors to cast this drama. but now that it's both BJT and ZRN whoever cast them as sang yan and Yifan, they did A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY ARE THE PERFECT YIFAN AND SANG YAN. I can't think of anyone else to cast as sangyifan other than them after this drama ends😭

- necessary second leads CP, they are cute. Maybe Ive seen lots of cps like them in asian dramas, they don't intrigued me just as much
- One episode per day, it's killing me.
- just 32 eps, I think we need more. I need more of sangyifan domestic life. them having babies, or maybe just the two of them travel around the world, or maybe them just having the best day of their life😔

It's not like he is invading her privacy or anything. 24/7 watching her, and knows everything about her. He infact, have no single clue what happened to her at that time.

I see you everywhere even on the best thing page. like stfu pls. that's your only argument to make this drama sound horrendous

some worrying about the angst that'll come. I, on the other hand been waiting for it, for years😔 I wanna see how they excute it. it's a turning point for both sang yan and yifan, both are getting final conclusion of what was really happening. even in the novel, I thought it was interesting. like it shows how sang yan would literally do anything for yifan, and yifan would do anything for her not to make same mistake again. hurting sang yan. and herself. THEY ARE SO DOWN BAD FOR EACH OTHER! 😭😭😭😭

The awkwardness between them slowly break down by yifan being vulnerable with sang yan. I mean it makes sense why the relationship between them started with awkwardness. they haven't talk to each for 8 years long, not long after they see each other again, they quickly become lovers. And they never dated anyoneeee beforeeee, THIS IS YEARNING!

Today's eps give me warm fuzzy feeling💞😭😭😭

oh, someone's on the comment says she might have autism spectrum, now it makes sense why i feel and can relate sm to her.

i think what they mean by they dont like yifan, is her as love interest. i wish drama viewers will see this type of character in bigger picture. she never asked sang yan to do whatever he did for her, ugghhh i love how attentive he is, very much, yes. the reason she wasnt being attentive enough cause she doesnt have much like sang yan does ( if we gonna talk about her in highschool era) no parents, no family or friends that will understand or want to understand her circumstances. not to mention money, she didnt have any of that either like sang yan did. no one taught her how to love or to be loved by someone. it makes her oblivious with what she felt. in short, shes struggling. her circumstances make her character and her life decision complicated.

i, on the other hand, can relate to her. impulsive but calculative at the same time, we cant afford to lose something but ended up losing it anyway. and i bet even if she was being impulsive, she replays many times in her head about what she was gonna do to sang yan, how hurtful it is gonna be for her to do it cause just like sang yan she felt for him just as much sang yan did for her. she just didnt believe that sang yan would feel that way toward her to that much extend. like she did for him. she thought if he knows what her family brings to her, it would effect what he sees in her. thats why, in previous eps, her monologues were mostly her questioning herself if she did hurt him that much at that time. she thought his feelings for her were shallow and will fade by time. she regretted it.


how many fml characters in asian drama universe, would admit she did the ML wrong? most of them are stubborn and immature. most them never feel guilty for what they did wrong to their ML. also i dont think only sang yan is yifan light, but also yifan to sang yan. she gave him purpose, that's why he made overtime. not only for her but also for himself. i dont think sang yan wants to do much in life, but yifan gave him purpose, some light he can devour. yifan is so much more than just love interest. yifan is just a woman trying to survive. to escape society judgement cause her life is too hard already. i love yifan sm, she alway admits her mistakes, and willing to fix it. SangYifan are equally well written character, that's why they are my favorite. theyre definitely not a one dimensional character, they are so much more than that.

He dreamed about how her uncle treated her so badly and how lonely and hurt she was. And when he wakes up, he wished, the only reason she left him wasn't cause she had a bad life or how her family ( uncle ) treat her badly but simply cause she didn't like him. he'd rather she didn't like him then her suffering😭😭😭

I don't understand how some still question why yifan did what she did. she even explains, not only in the novel but from this drama too. how she doesn't feel secure enough with herself, and how she's so scared of being abandoned by sang yan. she can't afford that.

And her reserved personality didn't come out of nowhere. she hates confrontation, she hates being a spotlight, she hates how everytime she needs the urge to explain why she is the way she is. She's angry, but feel guilty about it too. Tho it wasn't and it isnt her fault. grow up in abusive household aint easy at all y'all. Especially for women.

I hate MCY novel or drama version. I admit so it'll help them to realize how they are meant for each other. but on a deeper level. it'll also help WYF learn to confront ppl who don't owe her things. I have mix feeling about this arc. but I gobble anything up, as long as it's WYF and SY HAHAHAHA

it seems like FLs would be more likeable if they are an obedient lovey dovey lover, throw themselves to their love interest, and deal with their past within 3 days of max.

but oo shoot..I think we hate no backbone, whiny, and " cheap" FLs too, aren't we? We love strong, rude sassy FLs, independent, needs their men to grovel for them and such. But then we hate that type of FLs too, call them selfish and ungrateful. Well oh well, turns out not only in rl that happens, but also women as fictional character don't seem to have a choice. Either way, they're gonna get the hate.

Also, is it possible for someone to get assaulted over and over again? yes it is. go read more news, go outside, and see how gross ppl could be. Sometimes they're just there unprovoked.

9-10 them doing mundane things were so goddamn entertaining. I LOVE THEM SM😭😭😭💞
