The tone of this drama is exactly how I picture it when I read the novel. They did such a good job at capturing the melancholy dreamy vibe the novel had.
Don't worry for y'all who dont read the manhwa or the novel itself. WYF aint an ungrateful damsel in distress FML, who don't put the same effort as her ML. she grovels eventually. this is what you watchers should expect from her growth. Her insecurity for sang yan will defeated by her love for sang yan. that girl would do anything for him.

Damn what a shitty thing to say. She is one of example of vulnerable women out there that is prone to become a victim of SA🗣️ every person react differently, according to their trauma response. I've seen many insensitive people on the internet. but your statement caught me off guard. you wanna talk about logic? most don't use logic when adrenaline hits them hard. Just be thankful it doesn't happen to you. She saved herself many times, by living her life. Sang yan scold her because he didn't know yet what she was going through.
WYF was losing her family, her dear lover and then some part of herself. Most of us women drama viewers, somehow demand complicated strong FML character. and yet some can't handle her already. And the worse part is, she's not even a bad character. She didn't leave sang yan to be selfish, she was in a state where she has to make some vulnerable choices in her life. She thinks she don't deserve all the good things sang yan fought for her.
And mind you, he was a spoiled rich young man at that time. How long it would last for them to stay together? at least maybe that's what she thinks. She sees how unreliable everyone around when she fell apart. leaving her all alone, one by one, not even looking back. She was scared. And she was young too, when things happened 😭
And now I think she deserves Sang Yan more than we thought. Someone who sees her, willing to be selfless for her. Just as his promise, that he'll be there whenever she needs him. He keeps his promise up till now. For 8 years long. she deserves someone who waits for her that long. After being neglected and stranded.
i always get it how when I don't have anything nice to say about things, that I would like to just keep it to myself unless it could be a whole constructive criticism. we always have our own taste and way of thinking, don't take everything so literally, or u'll go insane
What's funny about this platform is that there's always some heated comments LOL. I swear it's never that serious. It's only how many eps alrdy? 8? remember we're here to enjoy things we want to enjoy not the otherwise.
my take on LR character is that she is so effing relatable NGL. she's so prideful, and how she is the way she is, it's just the way she's protecting herself. i guess ppl only want flawless FL, where they be bow to their men and be head over heels 24/7...why is it hot when men sassy and act like a 5 year old in drama but not women in drama? I remember when I watched aasol some ppl also commenting how YG is too timid and reserve, they be consider her to be less " badass" and here her as LR they be annoyed that she is too " opinionated" and actually stand on her ground tho her way , yes might be wrong and reckless sometimes.
now idk anymore..but have fun tho! character development is one of the main ingredient in this drama. and we have 40 eps?? wouldn't it be too easy if they develop their character within 8 eps? I bet u ppl will complain about it later too🤷
