At least there is one thing you like. I'd still advise you to abandon this though because it seems you're very, very bothered by the many changes. I'm sorry to say this, because there will be many more changes in the plot details that I know you can't accept, and it is kinda annoying (for me personally, I apologize again) to see people going on and on about how the changes ruin the drama where since the beginning they already stated this is a loose adaption (and ironically, this drama has more iconic scenes from the novel, more than even the animation). I hope I didn't offend you... tl;dr : treat this drama as its own thing, loosely based, not as a copy of the novel in live action form.
Unpopular opinion...i just can't seem to like the drama. The GCI is so cheap that it makes me cringe. And whyyy,…
It's okay if you cant really handle the changes or the technical shortcomings of this drama. The general concensus is that if by at least ep 10ish you're not hooked yet then this drama is just not for you (whether or not you've read the novel). Don't torture yourself with something that already gives you so much annoyance.
I keep reflecting what makes this drama such a success as compared to other historical dramas airing at the same…
Imo it's the script that manages to keep and convey the heart of the original novel story. Novel story is already beloved by many, and to see this drama respects and manages to pull off presenting the essence of it despite the many constrictions is pretty amazing. Kudos to the scriptwriter, the director and the two leads for being able to pull that off
I think op meant haters for this drama, not real life problems with the actors (sasaengs). That's why i ask because i dont see people hating on this drama. Not that many to warrant them being called out anyways
The official weibo updated their display name into Zhuxian I, and the new stills pictures & poster are now bearing the title Zhuxian I. Really going ahead to make the sequel so soon?

As someone who has followed his career from xfire, I can say he was seriously freaked out/angry there. He is usually very polite, patient and calm no matter how much 'fans' crowd him. He didn't say anything over his previous encounter with the crazy sasaengs and stalkers (phone number, ID being leaked, flight canceled, chased by a car), so the fact that he just mad dashed away proved how much that situation affected him. Also the previous incident with the elevator broke my heart. I hope he is okay, mentally...
