in short, because china is celebrating their 70th year since founding, the government is being really strict with costume/historical dramas. They dont do much promotion so when there is new costume drama about to start airing, it is with little to no promotion

Yeah. I meant for fans who see rumors then change the date according to that rumor. That's why i wrote the only source we should trust is the drama weibo... I woukd change it myself but i am not on dekstop...

Yes. The Untamed announced they would be airing on the day it started airing (like, literally they went we will be airing tonight!). The Longest Day in Chang'an, also just announced the day before it aired (if i remember right).
