The Untamed really risen his popularity more and more!!! He's even has more dramas awaiting for him!!! Fighting…
Most of those were filmed before untamed aired. But yep, they will benefit so much from his current popularity so maybe they already predicted it and were willing to bet on it by casting him in more iconic roles (Jade Dynasty, Douluo Continent)
Mo Dao Zu Shi is the hottest web novel and anime of the year with a HUGE following. What is still not clicking…
I find people underestimating mdzs fandom so often on weibo too. Always wondering, and cynically commenting how cql could get so many trendings (insinuating they were all bought/paid for), also about the number of scores on douban.
Saw this on twitter and found it really accurate lmao->"Watching UntamedNormal viewers: I heard the original novel…
Those comments are annoying. No one is forcing them to watch this drama. It's they themselves who chose to look this drama up, and then for some unknown reasons feel the need to make a declaration about not!gonna!watch!propaganda!china bad! in the comment...
If by the time you reach episode 10 you're not hooked yet (xianxia/wuxia cdramas generally have a very slow start, yes including Nirvana in Fire), then this genre (and the drama in general) is just not for you.
The score simply shows that the people who watch and continue watching, like it and are willing to give it a high score. Same with its number of scores over on Douban, people who watch it are more inclined to rate the show, that's why its number of scores has surpassed NiF too.
Take mydramalist score as something like how entertaining a show is according to the people watching, not something very technical like acting, cgi, script, and whatever else.
I'd recommend The Longest Day in Chang'an if you like shows like NiF, or Novoland Eagle Flag (this is technically fantasy though).
I would have thought they would want to milk xiao zhan's new all time high popularity by airing this drama as…
Oh you dont understand my meaning. In all online polling about which unaired dramas people are looking forward to, the wolf tops them with xiao zhan as the most highly talked about related actor. That shows how much people are looking forward to this because he is in this. So I would have thought the team would put more effort to push this to air as soon as possible while xz is still very hot so they can gain more viewers from his current popularity. More viewers equal more money. Of course, I'm not saying this drama is popular because of him alone, just that they will benefit more if they can air soon. But then unfortunately the censor came to destroy their current chance.
Btw, hype for an actor matters in cdramaland too. Example like zhu yilong's drama from years ago that never got to air because reasons finally will be able to air because he gained tremendous popularity last year (thus network is willing to pick it up). And he isnt even the main lead.
I've read news that most historical and idol drama will probably air august till October only because SAPPRFT…
I would have thought they would want to milk xiao zhan's new all time high popularity by airing this drama as soon as possible when the hype for him is still high. But then that new regulation came...
I read a rumour from youtube that there is a rumour about xiao zhan co star with yang zi??? I am so sad when i…
If you are his fan and respect him as an actor, then you will also respect his choices in project too. He is doing acting professionally, for his own growth and career not just for fulfilling fans wishes. If you, perhaps, prefer a certain genre you can just not watch and ignore the project completely. I am sorry if i sound very harsh to you. Also, why do you have to post something completely unrelated to The Untamed here...

I am not sure. But i sw someone mentioned it is possible now. You can try logging in through dekstop and watch regular episodes to see if it works first. Or directly ask wetv they are on twitter @wetvenglish
Does anyone know where I can watch episodes 35-38 with English subs?

Can anyone change it? He doesnt use that name... Sean xiao is his other name. His real name and stage name is…
A friend of mine already tried and got rejected. Seems this site really prefers english name. Why did someone feel the need to change it... We were, his old fans since xfire, so surprised seeing it
Oh. Someone just felt it was necessary to edit the display name, shocking us all because he's never been known with that name, unlike for example Wang Dalu - Darren Wang
I think it’s important for ppl to know that CQL/MDZS is more than just the bl romance. The reason why MDZS has…
Very true. Actually, saying the romance/BL element is the most important thing of the novel is insulting to the novel and the effort of the author for writing a grand story that has rich lore and characterization, a story that so happens the main character is unknowingly in love with a man. The MC getting together with the ML is not the main focus. MDZS is great in that it manages to present a romantic subplot between two men, without fetishizing it. Love, no matter with which ender, doesnt always have to be shown through 'physical' stuff, it is the heart that matters. And that is what CQL is successfully doing : showing Wuxian and Wangji's love without them being explicit about it. They dont need to say 'i love you', they dont need to be shown kissing each other, but it is clear that their hearts belong to each other.
There is a topic on weibo 'men watching cql'. Something to note is that those men are not fans of BL works in general, but they watch and continue to follow cql and root for wangxian to stay together. I think this speaks so much about the impact of how cql presents its very subtle romance between wangxian, that even though they (the men viewers) dont like BL, they grow to accept and support wangxian. So cql is definitely doing something right, it teaches people that there is no right and wrong in loving someone, even if that person is of the same gender. It gently leads people to the path of accepting love between the same gender (two men in this case), something that I doubt many BL dramas mentioned in this comment area will ever manage to do.
Sadly the official weibo has been dead for 1,5 years... :(
I know. But that is still the no. 1 source of credible information. I follow other dramas whose weibo have been dead for years too, and they will all post infos when theyre ready. Changing the release date here every time there s new rumor is just confusing a lot of people, and will lead to disappointment when it's proven false.
