So apparently ep 10 will be the finale so don’t be surprised if there’s news that a crazy bitch flew to Thailand just to commit arson. I have no idea how they’ll wrap this up in one episode.

Another ep with no Khim and ball plus more weird hints of song and jay being a potential side couple? Atp i don’t really know tbh. This is a very weird show.

I liked the 3rd episode, but my one qualm, again, is the pretentious dialogue. I already talked about that when the 1st episode aired and the 2nd had less of that but the entirety of the 3rd episode was just that. They don’t seem to talk like regular people. It felt like a bunch of cliche quotes about love all mushed up together. The type a middle schooler who just got rejected would post on their snapchat story with a caption reading “I feel this💔🥀“. JM is especially guilty of sounding a bit pretentious and conceited. I think the writers were trying to make it sound a little poetic or something but to me it just sounded forced and unrealistic. The chemistry was there though and the changes in positions throughout the night was cute.

Why are you referring to Reb as a “drag queen”. Not only is it not even implied that he does drag, he’s also barely even feminine. He is soft spoken, airy, and quite docile which may be considered “feminine” traits but not even close to the type of femininity associated with drag queens. The one time he gave off that energy was the first scene of the first episode and that was very short lived. I have no issues with your personal preference but I do find it quite interesting that you say stereotypically femme gay characters seem inauthentic and unoriginal yet have no problem with the many masc characters in BLs that are quite literally copies of one another. In my opinion, they are the ones that are hard to sympathize with because they feel truly fictional. Almost like caricatures with a list of attributes that all masc BL characters must tick off. I could understand this sentiment if you were talking about the stereotypical gay feminine side characters in a lot of dramas that only serve the purpose of fawning over the male leads, but Reb is really nothing like that imo. You’ll barely find a Reb in most BLs but you’ll find a Mork from Fish Upon the Sky or a Pete from Dark Blue Kiss in any drama.

One thing I can’t stand about this show is how they deliver their lines. It sounds like they’re reading their script right in front of them. And there are so many long pauses in between sentences and dialogues.

This turned out to be better than I expected but still not very good. I like that they took a comedic approach but even that was not executed very well in my opinion. There’s nothing wrong with slapstick and exaggerated humour when done right but it came across as corny and juvenile for the most part in this series. I didn’t understand Pi most of the time. Also Mork’s poker face and monotone voice made serious and heavy moments like arguments and confessions seem empty and dull. Meen is so quick to forgive Deuan. Those shipper characters were so annoying and unnecessary . Is this common in Thailand? I used to think that people like this just existed in BLs but with the amount of BLs that include characters like this I’m starting to think it happens in real life too. How the hell do you have a birthday party and your first thought is to invite your ship fandoms?? Anyways, do I recommend this show? Yes. I know I talked a lot of shit but if you’re like me and you love watching BLs then you might not want to skip out on this one. It’s not too bad. And definitely better than some of the shows airing currently.

What a weird synopsis. “Their work methods may not be entirely safe for work” made me think of something else lol. Anyway this wasn’t too bad but not what I was expecting. I was sort of disappointed honestly. Maybe this concept might have worked better as a show instead of a series? I’m guessing there will be a sequel because of the ending.

Not bad start. The dialogue was a bit pretentious and cliche but the acting was pretty good. Seems promising to me. I am tired of covid related shows though💀

Really not too bad. Although I still don’t like Migs. Overall it was not bad but not great. I wasn’t invested in Migs or Mateos pairings though. A bit of an inconclusive and weird ending.
