I don’t think this series is trying to teach a moral lesson or be educational
It's about framing. There is fundamentally no difference between those three men at the beginning of the 5th episode (end of 4th) and Jay but we as the audience are meant to root for one and be repulsed by even the idea of the other. Also to say this series has no lesson on morality completely overlooks Sun's whole plot current, his past as a goon for loan sharks, and his relationship with the concept of Karma (is it real? does he deserve to suffer for his past? is what happened to his loved ones a consequence of his actions?). But then again, i forgot a lot of yall like to consume things with your brains off. I'll keep that in mind next time and comment "omg jay is daddy" or something instead.
So moral is, SA is only wrong and disgusting if the perpetrators or old and fat and ugly! If its a young conventionally attractive (ig) man then it's completely fine and really hot actually😍 And making a fool out of a young lady who is literally being pimped out by her grandfather is hilarious😂 great job writers!!

But what we used to get was generally shows that at least had a 20+ min runtime and 8ep+. Budget friendly can also mean "how can we minimize effort while still ensuring a steady stream of money from views" to these companies. Also I feel like we can all agree waiting a week for a 10 min episode is excessive. I understand the importance of more queer content regardless of the format it comes in but I also get the frustration .

Right. There are aspects of this that I am enjoying and changes that I like or don't mind but there are also certain character and plot changes that alter the vibe in a negative way. Which is probably why it looks like a lot of people aren't liking Mo.

Am I a tbl fan because I preferred the Thai "Love in the Air" over the Japanese "Love in the Air: Koi no Yokan"?
That last scene of ep 10 is a terrible interpretation of one of my favorite scenes of the japanese ossan's love (2018). I feel like it's getting worse as it goes. The hong kong adaptation was much better.
Did not enjoy this happy fairy tale ending for everyone thing. I feel like the writers tried their hardest to make us forget that Joe is in a completely different body and is living life as a completely different person. You could argue that Ming fell in love with two people. I didn't expect them to go much into detail of the mind-fuck that is switching bodies and living your life as a different person but because of that, the scene in the last episode where his new movie is released and he is the main just doesn't feel right because it's not really him. The last minute pairings were unnecessary and I didn't care for them. I don't care what anyone says but Ming did not have a redemption arc. Let alone Tong or Ming's mother. They did nothing to deserve the complete turn around in their characterization this episode. My happy ending would be for Joe to not get with anyone and start focusing on himself instead of being a SIMP. This show started out well with an interesting premise but towards and after the midpoint it began to go downhill. The ending was predictable but still disappointing.
