they were best friends. some people don’t know how affectionate best friends can be without it being romantic. also platonic friendship exists. it’s a love type, why do people assume it has to end with Eun su and So baek being romantic partners. watch The Guest, good example of strong friendship between 2 of the same gender and one opposite

yeah, the drama could have done a better job at showing all solutions. Eun su has the brains, yet let’s kill him was the first option. but again, it’s based in reality. and in Korea, where abuse is swept under the rug to save face. The husband had connections and money, also hid Hui su’s passport I’m sure so there was no way of fleeing the country without him finding her. In reality people should just live in hell because no one will help them. So, This was an extreme storytelling, but it’s for shock value. How can society help before it reaches the EXTREME solution.?

I don’t know how anyone can hate this show. the plot has so much social connotations. makes you really think

all I have to say is it’s emotional manipulation to be with a guy when you know you’re leaving just so you can say you were their “first”.
btw you don’t have the right to treat people horribly because of your traumas, you have the right to make mistakes but that’s all. I can’t glorify toxic relationships get therapy and heal before dating

Refreshing theme. split personalties,coping and trauma, detective thriller, tear jerker.

the message is that hitmen exist, hitmen who don’t kill minors, and female hitmen, who probably also struggle with balancing their double life. a nice break from all things conservative, gangs and corruption exists in Korea too

the movie was crazy, cinematography top notch. in the end, the kiddo became just like her momma anyway. mom tried to do the right thing and shield her, but she severely underestimated that she was already predisposed, finding out her mom was a killer actually made her break free and become more comfortable with herself. better to know you’re a sociopath now than later 😅
