I am holding on and keeping watch for Wu Jin Yan's acting, despite the amount of violence in the drama. But why bring in zombies in ep 20...😢 I hope it’ll pick up some good stuff afterwards, as tbh the double was still her best!

I could relate to what you said, as it has happened to me also. Let’s become the better version of ourselves and never give up on this life. If a young lady like LYX could find her way to move on and up with her own strength, then nothing is impossible.

Anywhere will always be more beautiful when Xiao Xiao is in it! I am forever grateful for the joys that LYX has brought to my grief-stricken life for the past few years. Watching this amazing young lady’s journey has slowly warmed my heart. If I could have saved my late baby girl back then, LYX would be the one I wished for my late daughter to grow up to be; if she were ever lucky enough to be born healthy. An intelligent, kind, gentle, thoughtful and calm young lady who yet always remains fun, carefree, true to herself, and never gives up, even when the whole world starts tumbling down. Bless Xiao Xiao’s big heart!

Many adorable scenes in the second half; actually, I enjoyed watching more tho, such as flirting in the car when clueless Gong was in the car with them, being caught kissing on the sofa on their first date after she washed her hair, affectionate Adam apple kissing, meeting the parents, etc. Keep me smiling till the end; it’s indeed worth watching and rewatching for me 😊

To be honest, I was surprised by Esther acting in MJTY; that was her best I’ve seen and not annoying like her most dramas I dropped, though unfortunately not enough to top up LYX’s all-out acting in there. This is why MJTY is one of the C-dramas that will stay forever in my mind.

Indeed, Serendipity wasn't LYX’s best, but she or her fans wouldn’t scrutinise other actors for harming her career, as the drama flopped. She just moved on and kept getting better (by not listening to her far fans too much) ☺️

Same here; all elements do matter. I have completed Love Has Fireworks, but I'm annoyed with the face-swapped actor's weird acting. The story and adorable banter between her and Tan Jian Ci kept me watching and deserved 8/10 at least, but this Overdo…I’d have to drop it. Now I could appreciate how beautiful Love between Lines' cinematography was, which deserved the quality award, after watching Overdo.

Agreed, most of the recent C-dramas are not great! This is indeed the best one to watch and I don't drop. Jing Yi is one of amazing young c-actresses now. Few more episodes to finish 9/10.

This time, the reviews did reflect the drama quality. The problem is not only to do with the AI thingy, but the overall drama did look dull. It’s truly not as great, considering this is a high-budget, newer production of a republican drama there. Everything about it is mediocre, and the acting was hit-and-miss- just really disappointing. Yes, I remember the mansion looked like the one in ‘City of Streamer’; that drama was one of the great republican dramas; also great was ‘Fall in Love’. I will watch 2 more episodes of Overdo tomorrow to see if there’ll be any interesting things happening, then decide whether to continue or not. It’s really a waste of a good cast.

So, you def would drop this drama easily ☺️

I actually remember that what bothered me about To Ship Someone was the casting of the so-called ‘celebrities’ in this drama. They weren't believable enough to be celebrities. Agreed, the story was interesting. Serendipity was really too draggy, didn't really need 40 Eps, and See You Tomorrow- perhaps, as it was her first drama as FL (the 2nd), the newbies' acting was lacking, but again, I agreed it was a cute short drama. Yes, LITC is one of the best Xianxia, which is my least preferred genre to watch in C-dramas. I just hope she’ll pair with good actors who do not have bonkers fans ☺️

What makes LYX extraordinary is her smart choice of diverse roles she did and how she’s distinguished them clearly, in which these characters mostly have left a long-lasting impression on the viewers. It’s also amazing how she’s really INTO the role during the shooting of the drama and acts it all out until the wrap-up; then, only after a short break, she can come OUT of her previous character and then grasp the soul of her new character effortlessly. While IRL, she's a very genuine person and always be herself. This is why we would never be bored watching her journey. It’s a shame that the people in China are not as easygoing as us, the international fans.
