I just read one of the reviews that was complaining about the first NC scene in episode 1. Think about it for a minute! It was very animalistic holding true to the concept of the alphas, omegas and betas being descendants of the Wolf God. You might have called it passionate, but I think their initial intimacy was meant to portray that concept. The unrestrained almost violent interactions with licking and Boats hair being all over the place. Also until episode 5 Oat seemed more compelled by his pheromones than actual romantic feelings. That attitude reinforces the omega-verse concept of the attraction being compelled not necessarily chosen. However, by episode 5 though you can see that Phatsa has developed true feelings for Nahkun and vice versa.

I really don't understand why people are complaining about the NC scenes. They are absolutely yummy! In the five episodes you've seen a progression of relationship between Phatsa and Nahkun. Nahkun has been respectful of Phatsa's boundaries. Not only it has it been the Alpha and Omega attraction but they have genuinely developed feelings for each other. The NC scene in episode 5 is erotic, passionate and yet full of emotions.

So far it seems like they're developing relationships not necessarily a plot per say but teaming up in groups of different couples.
I anticipate since we are only on episode 5 that there will be more story development. As for the acting I've noticed quite frequently in Thai bl's there's a somewhat choppy hesitant quality to the acting. It's like each pause is supposed to have some significant underline emotion or thought. I'm not so much sure that it's bad acting as a certain style of presenting a story. This series has 12 episodes so there's plenty more time to the development of a more complex plot.

And of course Boat and Oat have chemistry with capital letters! They're both are very expressive in the their facial expressions which adds depth to their character development.

It would be awesome to have all the episodes and just binge watch them all and I'm sure I ultimately will.
While the anticipation for each weekly episode is frustrating, it also gives me something to look forward to on Tuesdays.

This was a fast paced complex drama. The characters sucked you into the story. The decision the ML had to make in order to survive was flawed but justified. The ending...there needs to be a season 2. It was like a slap in the face with a wet fish.

I've become emotionally invested in this story. Right now I'm just so sad for Lu Feng and Yi Chen. The little brother was just a spoiled typical young man who reacted in anger. Now he's paralyzed and his mother died while he was in another country. I sincerely hope some lightness and positivity can result eventually from all this convoluted mess.

I'm glad they've found a way to circumvent China's censorship. China has such good BL writers. It's a shame not to be able to share their stories on screen.

Lordy! Lordy! I was like "way old" before I realized every comment didn't require an immediate answer and the conversation could be delayed until the parties involved calmed down. It's still a hard concept.

We're in the US. We don't have national healthcare, but in an emergency situation services are provided and the bill is often paid later. Many of the Asian movies seem to have hospital care required to be paid before the patient is released. **Just a thought- maybe she had her savings book in her purse because she was traveling to see her sister. After all she knew she was really sick and if something happened she would need access to her funds. What year is this story- by the way? Who keeps a savings booklet anymore? I was amused when she whipped it out from under the cover too. It reminded me of my mother. She would have kept it very near to herself before she trusted the booklet being in a nightstand drawer at a hospital. This story must be originally in the 1970's to 1990's. Can just anyone access someone's savings booklet and then withdraw funds?🤦🥺

You're right about Lu Feng's consuming love. His father was horrible. His sister cared but still chose family pressure over his heart. Lu Feng didn't experience real warmth and acceptance. Yi Chen had a close caring family until he disappointed his parents. He succumbed to pleasing his parents over loving Lu Feng. I do think it's unfair that Lu Feng is expected to accept last place in his priorities continually.

She didn't realize the younger son was in a relationship with Qin Lang until Lu Feng became defensive and desperate about losing Yi Chen and revealed it. From an ingrained centuries old concept of being filial and continuing the bloodline I understand her even if I don't agree. She honestly wasn't any more mature about the explosive situation than the other emotionally overwhelmed characters. Really, I live the dramas I watch. I can try to understand and put things in perspective, but I feel their angst. I'm treading carefully at this point because I foresee a lot of heartache.
