Why don't we start picking on 6-year-olds! For Pete's sakes! This is the stupidest thing! If it's a criminal activity, a person is convicted in a criminal court and pays the price by judicial law. If it happened when they're in Middle School, use some common sense .
They're still basically children. Lots of crap happens when you're children. These netizens, that try to ruin somebody's life over something that happened when they were child, need to get a life! They are either trying to get money they didn't earn or they're sick. There needs to be accountability for their wrongdoing!

My heart goes out to YSL. FX is cruel and obsessed. I can't envision a redemption arc that transforms FX into a good guy. The acting is phenomenal!

Smoking almost disappeared in American movies because of health concerns and not promoting it in films. I hate to see it reoccur in frequency. While a little is realistic, having smoking portrayed as normal and sexy is destructive. When you hear someone short of breath who has COPD and STILL can't quit an obviously destructive habit, it's heartbreaking.

The "victim" mentality is abhorrent to me as well. Personally I don't view Jira's attitude as victimization. He seems artistic and sensitive. He cries a lot which doesn't resonate with me. But there's been more than one comment about him being passionate and emotional so the crying may not be a weakness but an emotional outlet for intense feelings. I think this series has some depth that will develop over time.

After Episode 8 I hate FX! Poor YSL...so caring and genuine. His crying was devastating! The acting of both male leads is superb. I'm going to have to read the novel. This is torture!

Repeat...why don't you like him? His character seems sensitive, artistic and intelligent. His friend said he's a passionate person. From desperation he followed a path he really didn't want...being an escort/sex worker. His apartment didn't look elaborate but it did look costly. He didn't pursue the jerk who wanted him to eat raw meat when he told him he couldn't eat it. (Thank goodness. That guy was slimy )

I've noticed that a lot lately as well. The men smoke a lot in the vertical short dramas and it's happening a lot in the BL's. While it's portrayed as sexy, I don't think it would destroy said sexiness if they weren't chain smokers. A lot of the shows I'm seeing it in are more adultish so hopefully the viewers realize how unhealthy it is. It's interesting that it's usually the men. In the vertical drama "Bound By Sin" it's a woman.
I suppose the smoking is suppose to represent a sense of power and control. Theatrically I can see that concept. Personally I hate the smell of cigarette smoke and would not want to kiss somebody who had stinky breath.

Episode 1-Intriguing . I think I'm hooked.

How can we help it go up? I love this series and gave it 10's upon completion. It stayed true to the novel as currently written. I think Nong Jian could expand and write a second novel about the secondary couple. It would be immensely popular. But, I think considering this particular series was on point, I think it's unfair to diminish the rating because there wasn't more eloboration on the second couple.

Thanks for all the info. I haven't watched this yet, but considering it had correlation to Thai history, I'm interested. I'm an American trying to understand the mindset of different Asian cultures and it's really intriguing and challenging.

There is a digital version. But, I would love to actually have a physical English translation.

Honestly, I would even love the adult coloring books with these characters in them.

This whole "world building" by Nong Jian is remarkable. There's a great more commercial potential than has been pursued.

Frankly the censorship in China seriously curtailed the NC scenes. I'm not looking for pornography, but they were exceptionally tame. Don't get me wrong...I appreciate their production team was working with serious restraints. The series was still a masterpiece. I know "Revenged Love" operated with restrain as well and still produced a noteworthy series. "To My Shore" seems to have more flexibility in this area. Do you have any idea why?

With Fan Xiao I'm experiencing a "push and pull" sensation. He said he had never been with anyone sexually before Shulang, but FX lies so much...who knows.
Maybe he's conflicted because he called Shulang a pervert but yet he's drawn to him. When ask if he's gay, he said for you I will be. On one hand he says "I love you" then he tells an old acquaintance he's just using Shulang to relieve his boredom. We've got a lot of episodes left for this story to intensify. The chemistry is explosive. I adore Shulang and hope he completely ensnares Fan Xiao.

By the way, I agree. This BL is my favorite of 2025. I've watched it so many times I've lost count. I want a follow up on the second couple. I don't care if it's in book form...but something! The authors are really missing opportunities. I've read the novel with the extended chapters which gave me a little bit of closure.
I would buy an audio of the English version of the novel if it became available. I would purchase a download of the series so I wouldn't lose availability I enjoyed it so much.
