I'm having a hard time watching this because of the obsessive unhealthy attitude of Peat toward Fort.

Your review was well said. This was an engaging modern fairytale.

I'm seriously looking forward to this. I don't know what happened between Net and his former partner, but I really feel like Net did an excellent job in Bed Friends. I think he got unfairly shunted to a back burner because their relationship dissolved. I hope this new pairing has good chemistry and staying power.

crazy take. Jira wasn't even suppose to be there! Pheem just wanted to deal with his feelings on his own. You…
I'm sorry I'm not really understanding your question. Personally I feel it's important to acknowledge another's opinion as valid even if you disagree with his/her opinion. That's respect. It's wrong to physically attack someone except in self defense or in a sport which requires it or war.

I've known several abused people and have personally lived in a verbally abusive marriage for years. I have an intense repugnance for abusive people. From my experience abusers don't usually feel any real accountability for their abuse because they usually have an entitled attitude. Their erroneous attitudes does not justify the abuse.

I think Pheem's going to a rage room was a healthy way to handle his pent up frustration and anger. He didn't invite Jira to witness his behavior or participate in it. Jira staying to hear his anger expressed was either brave and determined or poor judgement.

All 3 main characters seem to have some questionable values and perspectives. I think it makes for messy relationships, but then relationships aren't all "cinderella" ones in reality anyway. They involve conflicts, compromises and hopefully honest reflections on a person's thoughts and behaviors. This is philosophical on my part. But, I'm enjoying seeing how this story plays out.

You mentioned that a woman expressing rage is socially taboo. You definitely have that right. I live in the southern part of the United States. Girls here are taught to be differential and to express opposing opinions in a soft non- confrontational manner. Most men in our area can't handle a woman who flat out bluntly expresses an opinion or offers genuine and justified opposition. It's a real double standard. Anger from a woman is viewed as invalid and overly emotional, but a man is entitled to strong opinions and can openly express his anger with impunity. It really sucks!

In episode 8 Koh becomes more 3 dimensional. He displays more vulnerability. Jira has been attracted to him from the beginning and had openly agreed he's a red flag.

Pheem has his sweet and vulnerable moments. However, he's a little confusing. His intentions seem 2 fold: 1. He wants Jira and is willing to financially support him. 2. He told his roommate that it's his turn to mess with Jira's emotions.

Jira seems to be straddling the fence with his loyalties. That attitude seems dishonest.

I can understand what you're saying. Practicing self discipline and controlling rage is important. When you're angry and you scream flying into a tantrum, it
increases rage and causes the person you're angry at to escalate their behaviors. But when you're in a passive role with no outlet for your anger, a good screaming session in your empty car is therapeutic. Frankly bashing a lot of objects in a "rage room" seems appealing. Destroying your own stuff or someone else's is unproductive and self defeating.

On a different note: does it really de-escalate an abusive person's stress? An abusive person doesn't need an excuse to hit someone or verbally attack someone. They don't think anything they do is wrong anyway.

Each episode seems to inch forward slowly. My perception is Jira is an emotional mess. He's sensitive and artistic. He's independent and has some boundaries, but on the other hand has indicated that he can be bought. He seems to be drawn to negative emotions. The intensity of those negative emotions provides inspiration for his art. I get a very strong impression that his art is not what he does but what he is.

Koh is emotionally disturbed and wealthy to the point of having a sense of entitlement. The past episodes have indicated that Koh worked very hard to overcome his family's financial ruin and create his wealth. He's intrigued with how Jira perceives his personality and he's attracted to Jira. I think maybe Jira is attracted to him as well but recognizes that the relationship would be an unequal one.

I really felt sorry for Pheem in episode 7. Dew did an awesome job acting in this episode. Initially I had the understanding that he was a player and he's drawn to Jira because he hasn't been able to easily have intimacy with him. I kind of got the gist and I think at the end of episode 5 that Jira wanted to have sex with Pheem but couldn't perform because he just really wasn't attracted enough to him. Pheem really displayed more emotional depth with his declaration of love and his desire to not continue with Jira because it's painful. He seems to genuinely care to the point of committing himself to financially supporting Jira. The confusing statement he made to his roommate that now he will use Jira sends mixed signals.

All three main characters seem complex and contradictory in their behaviors. I guess that's what makes this such an intriguing series. I actually see all three characters as flawed individuals with undefined intentions. All three of them seem to be in a transformative phase of their life.

Ing stated in an earlier episode that Jira is drawn to Red flag people. I think the complexity of all three people's personalities is what makes the story so good yet still frustrating.

Actually the contradictions in all three characters behavior is confusing. But then on the other hand it also makes the plot more interesting.

It may not be healthy in one sense but getting the intense rage out of his system on inanimate objects instead of letting it build de-escalates the stress.

Jira should have blocked pheem everywhere cos that rage room display was crazy🤣
Why is it crazy? Pheem clearly said he and Jira are alike and they both are very emotional. But ...he is releasing his anger in the rage room instead of at the person. Pheem didn't inflict his rage or presence on Jira. Jira showed up where Pheem was without being ask to be there.

Lol Koh is the one who is holding any semblance of plot together. Using words like 'rapist' in this context is…
The comment about "like a rapist" is over playing Koh's sense of entitlement. Koh thinks money will get him what he wants and he's arrogant about what he thinks he's entitled to as an employer. He's not heartless. When Pheem ask him to reconsider and find an alternative solution to laying Pheem's whole department off, he conceded.

losing my patience with Off. No development, same cockblocking tactics, no sense of boundary, can't take no for…
Koh hasn't aggressively done anything to Jira. He acts like a spoiled rich kid who doesn't take "no" for an answer. I understand why he became upset that his best friend and Jira lied and weren't transparent about their interest in each other. But, frankly Jira is his employee; Jira nor Pheem are obligated to divulge their feelings or their relationship.

I didn't see anything remotely hinting towards Shu Lang feeling any "love" for Fan Xiao after the fact!…
YSL repeatedly turns down opportunities to take revenge on FX. He's being coerced into physical intimacies but yet he is withholding emotional intimacy because of the intense hurt over FX's deceit and manipulation. He's refusing to feel tenderness toward FX because the love he feels for FX has been overshadowed by FX's obsessive seemingly insincere behavior. FX is a complicated individual. I have a hard time envisioning his redemption. I absolutely love that YSL has a sense of personal dignity and uprightness
