It is different on basis of region and religion. Muslims in India (or may be all aver world) can marry their cousins or close cousins(with restriction to father's sister side in some) and same with Sikhs or punjabis, same in down south . There is no problem with double in laws although it is not common. However in Hinduism and northern part we have some thing called "gotra " system in which person having same gotra are deemed to be brother and sister. It is something like clan system and groom's father, mother and grandmother gotra or clan should not match with bride's one. It is different from caste system (same caste may have many gotra and person will be marrying in same caste but different gotra)
In India, majority of marriage happen in arrange marriage system where bride and groom will be of same caste but different gotra and majority of cases bride or grooms will meet only few times like 2 -5(most of the time with family). Also caste and gotra system is taken very seriously in India specially in rural India where bride or grooms have been killed for marrying outside caste(Sometime. along with family of lower caste side. Public shaming is also quite common) It was quite rage before covid period.
one of the best historical cdrama with good romance, action, relationships, Script , BGM and ample comedy. Trailer had very heavy atmosphere but it is joy ride till ep 30 I liked how normal people are although some are annoying there are none evil or vile people yet. I also love how it is more based on relationship rather than politics, scheming and war. Loved the parents and rest of family of shaoshang, emperor and his wives and definitely Shaoshang , Ling Buyi , Luo Yao, Yuan Shen characters . Scriptwriter and director handled crushes of three ML well without distressing viewers.
if you liked Dream of Splendor and The Imperial Coroner then you will like this. It is lighter than them with more comedy.
OK, now I wan't the "King" to visit Young-Woo's dad and beg forgiveness, and then have them marry by the end.
Don't make this such cliche. it will downgrade the drama. It is better as it is. There is no need to force unwilling and accidental mothers to guilt trip. Also there is no need to force these mother to give up there happiness and choices due to accidental pregnancy. They both talked about it and both agreed to conditions without forcing each other.
Although It may be admirable to give up her future for child but her choice was neither illegal nor unwilling.
Its just this should have made the female more fun . Plus the actress is miscast too. If there would have been…
TBH , I love her. Also I think she is doing fantastic job here playing such quirky character which is childish and all brawns. Although she looks litte old for character but then people would've flame leads for age gap. You should watch Please come back , Mister She is splendid there playing gang boss with male soul in her body and Mad for Each Other where she plays victim of dating violence.
I take my first view about it being an average drama after watching first 2 episodes back. After watching it up to latest 8 episodes I am enjoying it very much. I like comedy , quirky characters, kickass rap song, execution of plot and overall production drama. There isn't much to nitpick. Not to mention that I am fan of Leads.
Wish she do more dramas
