Another one - I cannot believe Jae Min actually surprised me in the last episode 🤣I thought I had him figured…
Our king was picky and had standards 💅🏼 He wanted everything to be how he imagined in his head like a postcard or catalog picture. Fr, though, in his heart of hearts he knew, that because in the past he always approached Da On first, he saw Da On first, he groomed Da On, etc etc so that the Da On he got was what he manipulated him to be. Not Da On's real love and affection, and that bothered him. That's why he knew Da On didn't really love him and couldn't accept that (it wasn't a rejection (that's only what the audience thought at first), but a realization that pushed him down a crazier path). Also, I don't think he could ever get over that first wound of Da On liking Su Hyeon first, it was the ultimate betrayal in his mind because Da On should've been his first. So he had trust/resentment issues. I also liked that Jae Min turned out to be obsessed first. I always wondered why he ran to say he would tutor Da On unprovoked… now we know 🤡 I am starting a Jae Min fan club.
It was good.Although I have one critic which is Su Hyeon stepping back when Jaemin came at him considering he…
I think the difference is one was a selfish act, the other required some selflessness. Su Hyeon has a history of cowardice. He left Da On and went overseas because he was too much of a coward to face his family. He also beat up that guy cause he was possessive of Da On. It falls in line with his character that he wouldn't sacrifice himself. The only thing that was off for me was how he exited the show with a smile. The life-changing event he went through warrants a change in outlook, but he should've been gutted to give up the love of his life and lick his wounds. Su Hyeon's final act of sacrifice, leaving Da On, shouldn't feel as heroic as it did; nevertheless, it does feel complete and motivated.
Thank god they left Jae Min a freak 🙏🏻 I had some doubts but they pulled through. It's crazy that Jae Min is my favorite character, I think all the props have to go to the actor who managed to pull that off (in another person's hands, it could've been annoying). The best KBL so far. Soon I hope they will make more stories not based on cliché manwha; however, they did what they could with this cheesy source material and elevated it. I can't mark points off for that (if I did, every BL score would be low). I really appreciate this young director who is slowly making waves. I now look forward to whatever she does next.
I haven't read the manhwa, but from what I've heard, Da On and Su Hyeon slept together this episode. Did that…
Yeah, you saw the bedding on the couch. I'm going to make a bet that it's left open for interpretation. They may or may not answer that in the next two episodes, but to me, I'm satisfied with the idea that he slept on the couch, gleaming from that little bit of evidence.
Can they wrap up this complicated plot in two episodes? If Da On and Seong Hyeon end up together, I might be able…
I have faith. A lot of the reveals happened in episode 6, it's just the fallout and wrap up to go now. Two thirty minute episodes is enough to do that. I'd like a season two though! KBLs need to get on that bandwagon.
It's just me spamming at this point, but my love for the actor who plays Jae Min has grown tenfold. Don't get me wrong, the shit his character does is not hot. The psycho freak look the actor does is. The way he can transform from being super understated and innocent to a bombastic freak without chewing the scenery is mesmerizing. He a baddie. 🥵 Mama, kudos for doing that, for mogging. 💅🏼
If you think about it, Jae Min won against Su Hyeon. Jae Min accomplished one thing. He turned Su Hyeon into a cretin like himself. Even though he lost Da On, he successfully accomplished his goal of ruining their relationship for good. The end scene was so bizarre in episode 6. I couldn't help but laugh at the dramatics, but I appreciate that they went there. Jae Min's true form is truly frightening.
Leaving all humanity and decency aside what i don't get about jaemin is that daon had already confessed that he…
He's not into the kissing/affection that Da On would've wanted in episode 2, he's into that freak shit: mind games and rough play, to get his rocks off. His sexuality does not function as a normal person like Da On. We see he is a stalker and manipulator. Some people just like to be in that position and don't cross the boundaries because they want to be like a lowly creature and let things play out inside their fantasy. He is dumb, that show made a point about that in Su Hyeon's words. It's biting commentary on that type of person who thinks they're superior but they're actually stupid as shit. I love this about this show 🤣
The only person Daon should end up with is Seong Hyeon. BIG"?????" to anyone who thinks otherwise. And big ups…
I can't remember really but Happy Ending Romance, The Director Who Buys Me Dinner, and A Shoulder to Cry On kinda has some toxicity or toxic characters. I don't know if those were as popular though.
