I freaking love this show. Secret boyfriends, an underrated trope. Them just chilling in bed together? YES. There is something so wholesome and sexy about learning to be comfortable with each other. Why isn't this more of a thing? I love it.

I can believe how Suzuki got into it, some BL has that bromance/male fantasy aspect to it (Suzuki basically described this show). Though BL is about sexuality too. The two friend groups' reactions represent the two extremes of BL, total escapism and rotted discourse.

I don't think this show would go there, but it would be interesting if megane-kun pretended to be cool with Suzuki's explanation but has beef with him because a) he sees through Suzuki's excuses with a dose of "admit your gay" reality or b) he doesn't like BL and felt peer pressured into being supportive, a wolf in sheep's clothing deal. We need an antagonist in this show.

But you know it's gonna be some BL logic, "what are your intentions with my son I mean friend Serizawa" protective trope or just a crush lol.

I was referring to the main couple: they're coworkers and cops. The drinking buddies are his social circle. For MOST older men, drinking buddies define your identity. The reason for his actions: internalized homophobia/identity crisis. We'll see about how he acts in front of his cop coworkers at the bar next episode.

Bar owner telling him not to degrade others or himself 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 They're coworkers who also happen to be cops, that's rough. He was doing so well too. At first holding hands in public to then openly talking about dating at the bar, but it crashed and burned when it came to his drinking buddies (the sanctity of manhood). That's so damn real. Reality? In my BL? Okay, okay…respect that they're tackling the intricacies of internalized homophobia.

omfg this second episode almost made me cry 😢 sui ❤️‍🩹 the way he said "boyfriend," as if it was too good to be true. awww. and it's always the repressed ones that are the bullies (dealt with one of those myself, the audacity...), why do i have the feeling it might get worse now that sui is happy? i love how the lines are written in this series.

Sota is so cute. His characterization seems neurodivergent too. I don't think it's a cultural thing, it could be how he was raised, largely excluded from others, but he's got overlapping traits common with autistic people, like masking and special interests (I see myself in him that's why I say this).

I get the idea behind the mask. If he smiles at anything near the boys at his school they will think he's into them and flirting. He's thinking of his bullies' comfort and not trying be 'creepy'. It's very tragic, even though this show is "fluffy" on the outside it's tackling homophobia, understanding this concept is not rocket science (it seems the majority do understand).

I just hope those calling it weird aren't doing so because of the MC's buoyant personality. Imagine bottling up your happiness/emotions for so long, it would spill out of you too. If that's your issue, the way he expresses himself, you'd be just like his bullies. If you accept masc gays, you must accept fem gays too. Or you don't deserve BL!

The reason the prosecutor starts it isn't because he likes him. It's hate sex and obsession. He wants to dominate him (make him his b*tch). It's only after having that relationship he starts to fall in love. Also, this is BL logic. This trope were it's sex first, "love yous" last is the best.

He kisses like a psychopath. 🤭 This was amazing! BLs never get this kind of budget and b-plot stories. Also I'm so shocked at how far they went with the sex scenes, is this the same South Korea or have they made progress? All of these BLs now where the main characters actually have work and something to do outside of romance. Omfg, I hope this trend lasts: actual plot points!

I am biased as a BL fan, but I thought the story was pretty solid outside of the romance. As good as other K & J soapy thrillers go (although I knew who the suspect was episode one, there were two other twists that were surprises).

I don't doubt it. Some people don't even need to be touched if it's been awhile. I was being a little facetious when I typed that. I'm guessing his partner baited him longer if he's thinking about his pleasure (hence the bandaids ig). Because busting from foreplay so soon wouldn't produce a satisfying orgasm.

serizawa referring to himself as a seme is crazy work. honestly the casting is perfect. they look like the type to be fudanshis. i don't know how or why but they do. them writing a bl novel together is the kind of manga i remember reading as a kid and sharing it with my fudanshi friend 😂 (he's gay and i'm ace, but thank god i had a fellow bl enjoyer).

This is just a more polished web series, barely any plot, etc (obv, look at that poster and very first shot of this show had me rofl), but I appreciate the attention to Hisaki's pleasurable expressions. Although, the nip stuff 😭 He busted just from that? Kinda glad he's not working directly under him, and he got hired not by him. The show is horny af but it oddly has boundaries too.

All of these "innocent, shy" ML types recently have gone from cute to kinky. I'm getting submissive vibes, maybe my brain is just rotted. The one note could've said "selfless" but it really said more about how he's "subservient." Then he wanted to pet him.
