Man was this boring... Unbreackable CPs are the death of fun BLs... Thank god for AouBoom, their chemistry made up for the stupid dialogues and plot. Hopefully they keep this flirty dynamic in Billionaire Biker, it suits them really well

I remember the early days of BL when everything had to be tragic and sad, the threat of a car accident always near... Although the BL industry has expanded to a wide variety of stories, I think mainstream actors haven't, or they're moving at a much slower pace... A celebrity like Taecyeon couldn't take a "gay" role a few years ago, now he can as long as the queer part is just implied and the story depressing. Maybe it'll take another five years before we get to see an East Asian male celebrity act happy about kissing boys?

I think you confuse adressing real world issues versus realistically showcasing them... This drama has all the clichés one can expect and takes shortcuts whenever it can

I do blame the writers for this too, they really didn't give enough direction to their actors... and making him a player would've given him a bit more humanity, there was some hints of this like the pool scene with Raffy ://

JossGawin's acting doesn't do it for me so MGB was a hard watch lol

Enchante was unfortunate and I haven't watched the others you mentioned, but the overall quality of s1 writers vs s2 writers' work is kinda obvious

They changed writers for s2 and if you look at their previous work (PitBabe, DYTD, My Golden Blood) vs s1's writers (Moonlight Chicken, Bad Buddy, Shine), it explains a lot...

ok some thoughts after watching ep 10 and 11 back to back:
- Ep 10 was absolutely awful, weak script weak acting and unbelievable drama... like how did Raffy even find Jack at the bar?? They just threw him out there
- They made everyone act incredibly unprofessional during the play just for the plot, like please concentrate and leave your drama out of it?? At least S1 conflicts were believable...
- What's so great about Jack? Like really? He's an alcoholic manipulator unprofessional manchild, Dean can do so much better
- On the topic of Jack, I'm sorry but I have to point out Earth's bad acting... Since the begining of this show he's supposed to pose as somewhat of a player, yet he's quite unable to act charming or flirty next to Raffy, making Raffy's infatuation with him very questionable... Boom's crying in the staircase was so emotional and well done, yet I couldn't relate to it at all given that it never felt like there was any actual connection between him and Earth's character
- Please stop with the music telling me how to feel every minute, sometimes ambiant sounds are more than enough smh
- I get that they need to create a villain, but there's absolutely no background story that could explain Pete's actions, bro is just the scapegoat of the show atp... We can decipher that he's somewhat jealous of Raffy, but what about the funds embezzlement? It's just a bit much to put everything on him for no reason, kind of looks like an easy way out for the writers to move the plot forward
- Rome/Raffy's switch up is so cute, please give them the majority of screen time for next episode
- What's up with spoiling the ending of each couple in the trailer? They ended any kind of suspense for the season finale, kinda weird

This drama is anything but realistic, imo, it overplays corruption and manipulation tactics in a very classic kdrama way and downplays the emotional/legal consequences of rape amongst other things. watch at your own risk!

do i need to watch s1 to understand this

as someone who gets immediately bored once the leads get together the pacing of this series is everything i've ever dreamed of

It's just that Earth is so stiff he comes across as very unnatural. He doesn't show a lot of emotion on his face either. He reminds me of Dunk in that way. Mix is not entirely my cup of tea with the overemotional acting but at least he uses his whole body to express himself, and he fits well with the dramatic roles common in Thai shows.

Mix did really well!! Esp when his partner is not giving him much to work with 🫢 You could feel everything he felt, and with their history it did make more sense that JackDean would have a fall out

Whether he did well or not, it felt so out of character for him that I couldn't take him seriously at all..
