it's so disappointing and kind of insulting for the actors to have them go from the Heart Killers to this nonsense... just watching the OST mv for this show, you can have a glimpse of the tension, the thrills, the romance we couldve gotten... but they just completely ruined it with the worse plot, dialogue and directing one could imagine

i don't think YuNorth should be seen as 'compatible' just yet though... They literally just met, obviously they're still awkward together.

This is not the first Thai drama that portrays abortion in a bad light. From what I know it's because while both LGBT and abortion rights are bundled up in the progressive discourse in the West, in Thailand they are seen as very different things. Reminder that Thailand is 95% buddhist. In buddhism, while you shouldn't concern yourself with the way others live their life (which helps with LGBT acceptance), killing a life (abortion) is associated with bad karma, as it is believed that consciousness comes from conception. So while abortion is now legal, it doesn't mean that it is well accepted by the majority.

My thoughts on ep 7:

- Puifai and Jay had more chemistry for the 5 seconds they stared at each other than JadeKamin ever had since this show started
- ngl that pool scene was cute but solely because it didn't feel as much as JadeKamin but more like JoongDunk themselves
- That grey sweater he wore on their ‘’date’’ looks so good on Dunk, makes me believe the only competent person working on this show is the stylist
- Adding the couples pictures to their id... next time they identify themselves in front of a suspect they will be outing their relationship too? weird choice
- The urgency of the situation is so underplayed... there is honestly not a single hint of regret or care for how they couldn’t prevent more deaths
- « We tracked Time and found out he didn't come home »… I wonder if it’s a translation issue, but that line alone is absolutely not enough context as to how they could know he was held captive in that warehouse?? If they were tracking him, wouldn't they catch him being abducted, and make an arrest right there and then? If they were only watching his house, how tf were they able to find the warehouse??
- Doc is funny but once again, playful banter and jealousy in front of a teenager’s dead body? Are we fr?
- Joong is really trying his best when they kiss but Dunk's blank stare makes it impossible to believe these two are in love
- Are they really that incompetent not to realize instantly that the killer is neither Cherren, Champ or Jay?? Why would the actual killer include him/herself in the lineup lmao
- Has Joong never peeled an apple before
- Their fight is so boring, predictable and cliché omg, obviously they solved it in under 2 minutes, it’s as if the director was rushed to mark off the ‘’conflict’’ part on his plot points checklist
- I’m convinced the writer for this series is 12yo
- But at the same time the murders and theme are so explicit and dark? Hidden camera sex trafficking, forced abortion, killing someone using acid, or a knife to the throat…. Who did they make this series for exactly??
- Also about a technicality: noticed how there are zero handheld camera shots? Every shot is stable, straight, moving shots are either zoom in/outs or (very bad) travellings… Which might be part of the reason we don’t feel this sense of urgency throughout the show. Urgency in suspense dramas is usually conveyed by handheld shots, which can be created in post production so they really have no excuse, the staff behind this drama is as incompetent as the inspectors uhhhhh

fr I thought about the printing too, but they don't even bother with cctv... i hope Kamin's talk about being fired was true foreshadowing because they really are incompetent

the son jae thing didn't make any sense i honestly cannot recall the actual reason they went to meet him lmao

it felt more like a "we need to introduce AoBoom somehow and korea is trendy so why not make them go to an underground boxing ring ruled by a korean mafia boss so they look cool" kinda scene

i thought so too,, i feel it would've been better if when he got in the bath, he told himself "don't find him sexy" instead of "don't fall in love with him", since i don't think we're there yet!

This show gets on my nerves

- An actual police officer getting in a boxing ring to fight off a guy twice his size trying to kill him? What were they actually trying to achieve with this confrontation??
- Two lead detectives flirting at the crime scene?? When both almost died in the midst of a police intervention???
- Jade being STABBED in the STOMACH but walking like it’s nothing the next day? Bro didn’t even bother with a visit to the hospital???
- Absolutely no concern with the potential death of teenagers, what matters most is whether Jade gets to sleep next to Kamin…
- Jade’s brother gets hit yet he seems miles more concerned about doc getting his bf’s number for a moment…
- Special Investigation Unit training being conducted for a mere 3 recruits at the friendly neighborhood pool lmao
- The meeting with AouBoom not being an email… like common they gave out one line of information then switched to discussing Jade’s totally irrelevant backstory
- Doc outacting everyone in this show… and he’s not even doing that much
- Do Thai police officers really go around the office half naked to take showers????
- The sound in this show is absolutely awful,, and don’t get me started on the endless continuity errors
- The absolute awful writing of Jade/Kamin’s love story… why do they switch between hot and cold for absolutely no reason? Jade being horny asf for the last 6 episodes yet when Kamin actually touches him he runs away to get ramen? And Kamin showing absolutely no emotion towards Jade for the entirety of the episode, yet telling him they’ve been more than colleagues for a while now? (Although the awful writing has a lot to do with it, Dunk’s subpar acting sadly makes their romance even more unbelievable)
- What was that kiss right before the end credits? Was it supposed to be something that happened right after they discovered the last guy’s body?? How?? If Jade took the lead there why would he be flustered in Kamin's office later????? IT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE this show is annoying asf

pleasantly surprised by Mark's acting, he's way more natural than in 10 liners! and Junior never disappoints, I was waiting for a main role for him

side note I'm happy Poon changed pairing, his acting is way above his previous partner's and Ohm matches him well
