give this one a try... you might love it... its a well made drama with amazing acting...

dont seem so... the actors seems to have given more time than required considering they kept increasing the number of episodes...
as a fan of jcw, i hope i never have to see him as park jaewon ever...

from ep 10 onwards iqiyi has made it VIP...
i guess i will have to wait a bit longer to watch today's episode...

EO's friends were always there for her when she wanted them and didnt even question her but when RY is going through a breakup and she wants to be with EO, she bailed out on her like that... atleast for once they could have shown her being considerate of someone other than herself... she literally only a taker in all the relationships and wont put any effort in giving...
same with JW... GJ bared his whining and crying for more than a year and JW dont even care about him... i guess the only thing JW ever cared about was to date EO...

1. its just symbolic that BH and SY meet each other under water... they both are inside the same body so there is no way they can show those two having a conversation... it dont mean that SY's soul is inside the lake... if so the queen would have died when BH went back... SY's soul was inside the body and she was well aware of what was going around... thats why she didnt feel out of place when BH left... she didnt had a blackout even for a second... she acted immediately when the villain came to stab the king...
2. the king will feel something is missing no matter which soul left the body... i guess kim jung hyun gave the perfect answer to that in his ig live...
3. han is a clan name and after the abolishment of cast system in korea people from lower cast chose whatever sir name they wanted... thats why korea is filled with kims and parks... like in the drama there are so may kim families, there will be han families as well...
4. the simply showed that people of the country had more sense of justice within them before because of the change in history and how the sense of justice layed a foundation in their history... events in history has influence on how people from each country behaves... like japanese and koreans are generally known to be extremely hardworking and very dedicated to what they do because they had to built a country out of scratches... younger generation of these countries are taught to have huge respect for elders because the youngsters managed to have a comfortable life and a safe country because of the sacrifices and hard work of the older people... likewise BH didnt end up being completely selfish and self centered... he managed to have some kind of sense of justice inside him... dont forget the fact that he is a guy that is well reversed in history due to his parents... he ended up being more responsible than before and that helped him to save himself...

western celebs and celebs in my country can still kind of maintain a body type that looks healthy... but asians are notorious when it comes to how thin and slim female celebs should look... i was surprised to hear that chinese netizens called the FL of sweet combat fat... when i saw that drama all i could think of is how thin she is...

most of the asian female actors dont even look like they can get fat even if they want to but still maintain such unhealthy diet routine... anyone above 45kgs is considered to be fat even if they are tall and is literally impossible to keep that weight for tall people...
the most disturbing thing is how some idols promote these unhealthy habit... i have seen some female idols say they only drank water or eat once a day for weeks as if its not a big deal and people around her appreciating her efforts to manage her weight...

i check his profile and thats him in high society...

i also get that some actors hit big solely based on the image their big agencies created for them and big projects their agencies managed to get them...
i hope kjh gets good movie offers and make it big among korean general public... he is talented enough to be in korean movies...

seeing how they showed minho;s character, it looks like he is also going to be an unrealistically good and sweet ML in the next season...

i must give it to GJ... he finally called out RY... how is he supposed to know what happened to her in UK when she never told him... seeing how considerate he is with RY he would have understood her... also he lied to his family only because his family wont look down on her... he has no problem flaunting around RY as his gf... he just dont like people looking down on her...

i had the exact same reaction those highschool kids had on eunoh and jaewon... lmao...

i bared 15 episodes of eunoh's cowardness, self-esteem issues, self-pitying, selfishness to just end it with her being all happy and lovey-dovey just by getting back with JW... no talk about how she feels, no sorry, no heart to heart conversations... just them dating like teenagers which makes even teenagers cringe... if all this was this simply why waste 15 episodes of repeatedly showing how deep her scars and mental issue are? the writers literally created a mountain out of a mole... jaewon literally is a fairy tale character that don't exsist in the real world... so there is nothing of talking about him...
the only time these two had any kind of serious talk was when JW was completely drunk and even then he was the only one opening up...

are they really going to give a rookie female actor lead role in next season? i have nothing against her but seeing how the drama has a tendency of making the female characters the messy and unlikeable ones, they should have gone for someone with strong acting skills or at least someone who has some experience...
the actor looks like a teenager and from whatever they showed she don't seem to have strong acting skills and is just cute and pretty...
Minho might have to carry the entire show on his own and his stardom comes from his idol career and not acting career... so i was hoping for a well know female actor as the lead opposite him considering s1 had jcw and kjw...

P.S- the girl has really nice eyebrows... i rarely see Korean female celebs having such dark and long eyebrows...

more than half of the season? accurately 15/17 episodes all we saw was JW being a pushover and pathetic, EO being bizzare.. . that like the entire seasons and not just more than half of the season... then suddenly in the last ep they are way more lovey dovey than RY and GJ has been in the entire season... no talk about EOs issues or anything and she is magically is perfectly fine and confident and chirpy... they behave as if literally nothing happened b/w these two for more than an year...

i dont know how those things work but i guess actors that make it big with smaller agencies kind of stick to that agency itself because they get the freedom they want and kind of have equality ... if kjh moves to agencies like keyeast or sidqu which are famous for creating a certain image for their actors, then it also comes with terms and conditions... almost all the rookie actors that became big through these agencies tend to leave these agencies and either start an agency of their on or choose agencies that arent crowded with too many artists where they will be the big fish... i can only think of soop management which has limited number of artists and almost all of them being famous... almost all of their artists are topnotch and have very few artists leave the agency... also the agency seems to be really good at managing almost all of their artists well and getting them good movie offers...
i think big agencies only look for making their artists stars and create a certain image... the bigger the star value the more money the agencies will make... smaller agencies might listen to what the actors want and may do it accordingly... kjh seems to choose the script that helps him grow as an actor instead of becoming a big star...

Isn't sung joon the guy from high society? I have only seen him in HS and his acting wasn't that good... I guess the agency's best bet is kjh...

He is a graduate from Korean University and I guess that's like the top University in Korea... So I guess he always had a certain standard in acting from the start... I first saw him in school 2017 and he wasn't awkward at all in acting eventhough that was his first lead role...

I knew about those two being in the same agency when I checked out his agency's youtube channel which kept posting his IVs and vlogs... she is really cute... I think she was on the verge of crying...
I think he is the only well known actor in his agency...
Glad that even after being from a small agency he managed to get quality work throughout his career... He is really talented and that's why he gets good roles even after facing a little bit of a set back 2yrs ago...

I don't think the director is a bad person... The only thing unlikeable about him is his relationship with the SML and they both are equally at fault... He is not shown to be arrogant or an asshole in any other way... He is pretty good to his employees and the employees seems to be comfortable around him... Also after meeting the sister directly, he wasn't pushy or clingy at all... He let her decide for herself and she chose to give it a try with him... As a bf he don't seems to be bad... The sister is quite bold in her own ways and isn't very innocent... I think she is very matured and have the strength to call out on his shit if he ever crosses the line... She is just soft spoken... she don't come off as someone that need to be protected... She seems to be like the FL.. soft spoken and looks timid but is very strong emotionally and knows how to state her opinion without being rude or loud...
None of the characters in this show are bad people as per say may be except for the SML's father... He has no sense of righteousness or consideration for anyone and is completely selfish...
