I loved everything except how the original mountain god was brought back. Moo young was sensible enough to understand everything if he knew exactly what happened to his brother and he would have never brought back the Original one. I don't understand why that old lady kept her mouth shut till it was too late. It made zero sense.
I also wished there was atleast one scene between the 1938 Yeon and the present day Yeon in the last episode. That one scene at the start was hilarious. The dump face ldw makes is hilarious.
Even though jiah only appeared as a cameo, her presence was felt at times because of how much Lee Yeon is in love with her and the last scene was perfect. They look great together.
If Lee rang got back with Lee Yeon in 1938 won't that change the future and that snake villain would never appear in the future since rang helped to revive imoogi. 1938 Yeon stayed with rang and they went back to being like they used to be.
I died laughing at some scenes.

Lee dong wook has to do S2 of shop for killers and S3 of totnt asap. I liked both the dramas.

Why do you want realistic script in a fantasy time travel rom com?
A 19yr old boy don't need indepth character analysis to fall for a girl and sunjae has given more than enough reasons for sol to fall in love with him. Sunjae is shown to be someone who gets 100% dedicated to anything he sets his heart and mind into. So him being always in love with Sol is very much in character.
Sol is a walking talking ball of sunshine. Obviously an introverted guy like sunjae will fall for her instantly and she has supported him and made him move on from his swimming career. The second time travel is were their entire relationship went from crush to love.
There will always be a set of 'many people' who will find anything and everything overrated. There might not be a single drama on mdl that's not considered overrated by a set of people. What matters is how many people enjoyed watching the entire drama and a vast majority loved this drama and it has high re-watch value.

The drama literally is filled with chartbaster osts.

I will never get fls getting criticised for the smallest of things. Jiah didn't make a single stupid decisions or put herself in danger on her own but still people were mad at her for not being good enough to destroy a supernatural creature on her own. Like people completely forget the fact that she is a barely 30yr old human being. Lee Yeon with all his powers had to figure out things on his own at times.

She is dealing with creatures centuries older than her who are way more powerful and intelligent and smarter than her and on top of it she is possessed by the villain and still she survived on her own a lot of times.

Story is deeply rooted to Korean mythology and they don't really waste time to explain it for the international audience.

Lee Yeon is one of the coolest male leads ever in kdrama land. I like it when the supernatural character is shown to be as powerful as they are supposed to be.
It frustrates me when I watch dramas with supernatural characters but they end up without any of their powers or their powers being useless for 90% of the drama. One of the main reasons why I enjoy watching both the season is how smart and powerful Lee Yeon is. He is as powerful as the villains if not more.
S2 was on hold for a long time but I started again and I am loving it. I like the thriller aspect of this drama in both the seasons.
Lee dong wook is so convincing as supernatural creatures whether it's a grim reaper or a gumiho. He is that hot 🤭

Ep 7 reminded me of the trickster episode from supernatural

Even though overall it's just an abv avg drama I really liked the back story. It was shot really well and both of them acted good as well. Also ep 4-5 were a complete laugh riot. I never thought rowoon will be this good at comedy.

Sun Deol's sis married the guy who works as a farmer (ex husband's sis) and her brother's wife continued writing adult novels.

This drama was on hold for almost an year but I finally finished it. Some episodes made me cry and some were very hard to watch. The episode on comfort women were so well shot.

I think that's the scene were taesung looks at a drunk sunjae and Sol in his car and smiles.

I just hope hy and ws will keep whatever relationship they share whether it's friendship or love forever and we get to see them in another project. I don't mind whether it's a movie or a drama. I would love to see them in a romantic movie with a lot of kissing scenes 🤭

I watched flex x cop a couple of months before and liked it as well.
I didn't find interest of love boring. It was a good watch for me.
Liked military prosecutor as well.
Revenant was also good.
