Time and time again, after a successful drama finishes, you'll see a surge of bad reviews. It's always like that,…
Some people watch popular dramas for the sake of it even of its not a genre they like and then starts crying in the comments and questioning people who liked it. Very few gives genuine criticism while most are down right hating on it simply because they think it's cool to hate on something majority likes. Classic wannabe behaviour. Someone about just gave a constructive criticism about the drama without hating or questioning people who liked it and then someone else is going on and on about how much they hated the drama and gets defensive. Anyone who reads can tell who is genuinely criticising something they invested their time in and who is just here to spread hate.

What makes you think anybody cares about your hateful opinion? I don't like the drama as much as you hate it. š You yourself came into the conclusion that the writer made the SML bad guy deliberately when he literally is one of the best SML with self respect and dignity. If nobody has the right to question your half ass biased opinion who gave you the right to question the author's writing and her intentions? The drama was very simple and uncomplicated but still you didn't get it and wanted something else from it and it's what's called having low iq and common sense. Times magazine literally named it the best drama of the year till now and the drama still has its craze intact in Korea so it's your taste that's of low quality and standards. Disliking something which majority likes and then questioning their taste only makes you the wannabe and dumb one. š The fact that you take time to reply to every single person who opposes your view on this drama clearly shows how invested you are in this drama. People investing time in something they like is understandable but don't get people who invest so much time hating something.
I think the one who dies is young dae's character and the fl will get framed. Since his family is rich and powerful they will go after the fl and her family and they will have to fight back.

Are you tone deaf or something? Showing someone as a carefree immature highschool teenager is not being a bad guy. According to your logic then the writer forcefully made sunjae and Sol good people, forcefully made the taxi driver a psycho path, forcefully made the leads fall in love, forcefully made the channel make this drama and forcefully made the director direct it š¤£. Seems like you have severe second lead syndrome and write your own story for the sl and then blame the writer for not making him the way you want him to be.
Tell me you didn't watch the drama without telling me you didn't watch the drama š¤£
He literally asked her out simply because he wanted to make another girl stay away from him and didn't care about the bullying she was gonna face. He dated the old Sol for 2 weeks and never replied to her messages and found it annoying but started caring when the future sol cameback and didn't give him much attention. Sol has every right to be mad at him for using her old self's feelings to his advantage and she never humiliated him. They broke up in private. Sol has zero reasons to cater to his romatic feelings. He was shown to be just an immature guy who wanted attention from his father and never shown to be a bad guy and Sol knows that. He is also not shown to be pinning over her and being sad like usual kdrama SML. So don't know where this villainizing taesung thing came from. He literally is a well written SML who knew how to move on and be happy for his friends. If the writer wanted to do him 'dirty' he would be shown pinning and crying over Sol till the last episode and trying to steal sol like typical SML of kdramas.
I'm always surprised how misogynistic people can get with the FL when they have the biggest red flag in the show…
You mean strong girl nam soo. I got lost for a big when I read bong soon and the rest of it. š¤ I agree on how the villain and his actions are romanticized simply because he is hot af. Even after watching lovely runner and being absolutely in love with wooseok, I don't have any sympathy for his character in nam soo. And yes the SML in this drama is also crosses the line but thankfully gets his act together and accepts the fl's decision and ends up being a good friend to her and the ml.
Why does this drama have such low rating? It's like the standard 8.2-8.3 rated dramas in mdl. Nothing much to praise but nothing much to not like either. I finished it in 2-3 days and nowadays if I end up finishing a drama in a go then it's decent enough for me. I liked the fl and her happy go lucky personality even though the acting at times went ott but didn't mind much.

The way you get aggresive clearly tells you are a hater and not someone who simply didn't like a drama you saw. If you saw every second of the drama then how did you end up with the conclusion that taesung was portrayed as a bad guy or people hated him? 𤣠He is literally hailed as one of the best written SML by literally everyone and even if people liked sunjae nobody in here or anywhere was hating on him. For a second I though you were speaking about the taxi driver and not taesung š¤£.
I thought worst of evil was good? Didn't watch, but the general opinion?
I wasnt into kdramas when empress ki and healer were released. I binge watched those dramas after I started liking him. Empress ki was too heavy for me at that time so I fast forwarded and only watched his scenes. Got bored with K2 and did the same. The fl was one of the most boring characters I have seen. I completed healer after putting it on hold for 2-3 times. It gets interesting only in the second half. Even though he had hits and misses he did well in all the dramas. I didn't like lovestruck in the city but liked his acting in it. Liked samdalri as well. My most fav is suspicious partner. I love the lead couple and I am more into romcom genres than other genres even though I watch almost everything.

Exactly. Even though I liked JCW from the start, I became a fan after backstreet rookie. I like that he chose to do a character that was ordinary in every possible way except the looks department which obviously cannot be helped. He is way too conventionally attractive to play an avg looking guy. We barely see top hallyu stars playing that type of character and he was really good in it. He wasn't that good in comedy at the start but he kept doing light hearted dramas and improved himself. He isnt the kind to just keep doing dramas that will increase his stardom. He seems to care about improving himself as an actor as well and I respect that. For someone who looks like that in Korea it wasn't that hard for him to care less about acting and more about stardom and fame. Even when there was a decrease in his popularity he kept on doing what he liked and experimented as an actor.
but Hwang In Yeop's acting is good, I don't know if you have seen his dramas but so far he has given his best…
I have seen him in true beauty, sound of music and 18 again and he is strictly average at best. Kim young dae is on the same level if not better and looks better as a male lead.

Ji chang wook is no more doing the cool, sexy and stylish characters like healer and K2 anymore and that's making a set of people not liking his dramas. His characters nowadays are more human and has variations. I guess the last kdrama he did were he is the quenessial hero was suspicious partner. The rich and extra brilliant lawyer. Now most of his characters are more real and somewhat a loser than extraordinary and that's not sitting well with some people.
Yes!!! People associate strong fl to be emotionless, always knowing what is going to happen, beating shit out…
Exactly. I agree he was the only watchable character in the drama but one can watch a villain without romanticizing him. The only blame the fl should get is for being a badly written and badly acted character and not for baby setting a literal monster.

He is JCW ofcourse he is gorgeous.
