I clearly said rom coms can be criticised but saying why is a romcom a rom-com is the problem. Half of the people criticising the show watched it simply because its popular and most of them aren't even into romcoms and then act superior. Even if some are genuinely criticising, if we just go through the rating in their watchlist it's clear rom coms aren't exactly a genre they like and all the popular romcoms are rated low.
Every genre has its own flow and a certain tangent and most of the 'why not this' clearly divert the drama from the genre it's meant to be. Depression, disability, going more into the details of a psychopath etc aren't things that need to be elaborated in a light hearted romcom and complaining about those things and criticising the drama for not going in detail on these subjects are baseless.
There are more than enough comments that criticised the drama without anyone replying back to them or questioning their liking and that's because those criticism were respectful and constructive and in no way degraded characters or actors or questioned the standards of people who liked the drama.

Romcoms can surely be criticised but criticising a rom-com for being a rom-com is clearly not a criticism. Also wanting entirely different things to happen when the drama is not ment to go to that tangent is also not really 'criticism'.
One criticises a drama or movie for what's shown to us and not for what's not shown to us.
Some are like the killer should have had a back story. Why should the killer have a backstory? It's well established that he is a psycho and went after anyone he set his eyes on. It's a rom com and not an investigation thriller. Giving more importance to a serial killer takes away the light heartedness of the entire drama.
Some are like the makers should have made sol stayed disabled. Why? Does people think having the female lead go through being disabled multiple times goes well for a rom-com? In one moment she is happily running around and the next second she is back to her wheelchair. Does that sound like a pleasant thing to happen? She is already dealing with seeing the ml die multiple times and people want her to stay disabled just to sound woke?
Then the usual hating on the female lead for no apparent reasons.
None of this actually comes under criticism and when asked for a proper explanation they don't have it.
Some are either just here to hate on what's popular and the other are just stubborn to enjoy a drama for what it and want what they want to see.

Anyone can tell who is giving constructive criticism and who are simply hating on it just for being popular.

Also where is the comparison to qot happening. Went through the comments for the past few days and nobody is taking about qot in this comment. I vividly remember all the active members speaking against it if LR was being compared to qot in the comments when the drama was on air and the comment session was very active. After ages it's only your comment that spoke about qot in here.

The worth for the drama totally depends on what kind of dramas you like. It's a full on kdrama rom com with a time travel theme. If you like full on romance and light hearted comedies then you might love this. But rom coms are not your genre then it might not be worth it for you.

The drama is a rom com and it stays true to its genre and some people have problem with it being just a rom com. 🙄

The movie didn't even release for you to judge it and criticise it.
It's an action thriller and the trailer shows that only. All action thrillers have main protagonist winning against all odds at the end. It's about how much thrill and adrenal rush the audience get while watching it determines its fate.
Action thrillers are not supposed to be realistic. They are supposed to make the audience sit on the edge and enjoy the thrill.

Havent read the manhwa so don't know. I just made an assumption based on the synopsis and character sketch article.
Kim young de is playing male leads in dramas so if he is in supporting role it will be more like extended cameo.

I have never seen him in any other drama. This is my first time.

Rom coms do well everywhere. The re-watch value for rom coms are pretty high and most people got addicted to kdramas because of kdrama romcoms.

The SML is the only thing I am not enjoying in this drama. First the SML from miss day and night and now this. Even the SML in cheer up was somewhat irritating. Three back to back dramas I watched have irritating boring SMLs.
I only approve of taesung. He is the ideal SML. 🤭

This drama is a fun watch. It's silly and goofy and I like that. The ml is hilarious.
Is that the actor's real voice or he is speaking like that for the character. He sounds like he has a throat infection but it matches the character. Kind of add a different colour to him.
I like kdramas that have plenty of comedy.

Yes. Spn had some iconic episodes with high re-watch values like the trickster one and the one were dean and Sam are Jensen and Jared.
This drama kind of have the similar comic style as son and those episodic evils the leads have to tackle.

I felt the same with wedding impossible and I have said that on its comments as well. The ml there looked way too young for the character at times.

That was fast. Usually it takes few more months for Netflix to get other kdramas but within 2 months they got LR. Seems like they were desperately waiting for its exclusive contract with Viki and viu to end. 🤣

Sk has a very different fan culture and the drama kind of shows that. Also she isn't obsessed with him to an unhealthy level and her being so much emotionally attached to him make sense since he reached out to her at the lowest of her life.

He will be weird out if he starts to have the same kind of feeling for miss day as he has for miss night. No rational human being in their wildest guess will think they are the same people. The SML saw it with his own eyes to believe it. It took the bf some time to accept it.

At the start it was more about the IVs and articles the actors gave regarding the drama and that was fine since it's related to the drama but now it's literally daily updates about the actors and their fan meets. If people are that into the drama they will get those updates on their other social media platforms.
Most in mdl come to read comments about the drama and those comments get lost with all the updates from Twitter. I am on Twitter and insta and I love LR so everything being posted here is already on my insta and Twitter fed. I don't need to see that on mdl as well.

I think it's high time we stop posting about what's happening on other platforms regarding the actors that has nothing to do with the drama. People who are interested will be following those updates on thier personal social media accounts.

The best friend did that to make both of them talk to each other as none of them were getting out of their awkwardness and taking any initiative to clear the misunderstanding. She knows her best friend likes this guy and she wants to help her.
She didn't create any misunderstanding like the SML.
