i dont know how its in korea but in india the serials that air after 10:30 will have more romance and bolder scenes( for indian standards) than the ones that air of prime time even though they all will have the same PG rating... both flower of evil and tale of the nine-tailed have a darker story-line with minimum comedy scenes compared to prime time... even world of the married used to air after 10 but on weekends... so from my observation, there is a slight change in the boldness of a show based on the timeslot... the reason why some of the scenes of its okay to not be okay faced criticism seems to be the timeslot it was aired... i think it wont have faced any criticism if it aired at late-night...

i guess if it was on prime time they might have to tone down the drama... some scenes were quite creepy and uncomfortable for a prime time show like indicating cannibalism... i dont know how korean broadcast rules work but the pd and the channel might get into trouble for the simplest reason... i guess tvn should have aired it on netflix instead of viki... then this would have gotten more exposure internationally... i guess the channel knows that the rating wont exceed a certain number during particular timeslots... so totnt might be doing more than their expectation on the given timeslot...
