as the other commenter I don't feel the same, I feel second was good or better than first one....
he is following her around not because of her demands or threats but because of his personal reasons.. he clearly has a soft corner for her because of her face is similar to his first love.. also his brother has threatened to kill her so obviously he will try to save her. he is helping her because he wants to help her and not because he is forced to.. also he has his own reasons to go to the island and she didnt ask him to come with her.
also their deal is already off.. she destroyed the evidence and he gave information about her parents.. he saved her life after that.. so he did it out of his own will and not under any condition..

i think its made clear in the first episode that gumihos cannot kill humans even if they are capable of killing humans in a flash.. the male lead hunts down the ones who kill and feed on humans.. the person who punishes the one who kills human is definitely not gonna kill humans even if they get on his nerves.. he isnt submissive.. he is just following the rules he need to follow.. he did try to threaten her or scare her but it didnt work..
review and ratings both should be open only after the show ends.. some people give low ratings without even watching…
after watching both the episodes and if both the episodes are 10 on 10 and the ratings are open so obviously people who for real watches it will give it a high rating.. i am talking about people who dont even watch it giving it low ratings and spreading negativity on a show that hasnt even layed out its base not the ones who watches it and then rate it..
and kim bum gives me damon salvatore vibes from TVD
true.. just hope lee rang dont fall for the FL.. dont want that.. i stopped watching tvd after s3.. their first face off reminded me of the first scene b/w damon and stefan.. the 'hello, brother' scene
ep 2 was also really good.. i love lee yeon's obsession with mint choco and the way he got disappointed when he cannot find mint choco in the island.. also his aloof 'i dont care attitude' is very subtle and not very over the top which makes it interesting and not annoying.. scenes b/w lee yeon and lee rang is the highlight of both the episodes.. i hope there is more to the hate lee rang has towards lee yeon apart from the abandonment issues.. lee rang comes off as a spoiled brat who is trying hard to gain the attention of his older brother as of now.. its fun to watch but there wont be depth to his character is thats all he is.. also if thats his only problem then halfway through the brothers might be in the same team and a bigger villain might appear..
i love how logical and daring nam ji ah is.. she ain't gonna rest until she finds what happened to her parents and thats for sure..
I can't be the only one here who likes Jo Bo Ah. I honestly love her acting. She is such an underrated actress…
i have only seen her in my strange hero and a movie where she is obsessed over her teacher.. she is pretty decent and i find her really pretty.. i wont say her acting is excellent but she dont ruin her character with her acting like some over-hyped actresses.. she is watchable and she had good chemistry with the ML in my strange hero and she looks good with lee dong wook in this one.. i like her screen presence..
Since the producer girl is the FL of the show and LDW is the ML it would make sense for her to be the first love.…
it is said by his friend that he watches over the reincarnation till they die.. the difference this time is she is aware of his existence and follows him herself and keeps on doing daring things that might put her in danger..
i have a feeling that he might fall in love with nam ji ah and thats when the real first love appears.. this time his first love might be the villian( this one gives me vampire diaries feel so it might go the elena-katherine way)
