from the first episode i am impressed with the female lead. she is intelligent, darring and hard to be fooled and i hope it stays that way till the end.. hope she dont become dumb and do stupid things..
i liked the first episode and love the hair colour on lee dong wook.. the dynamo b/w the 2 guys reminded me of demon and stefan from vampire diaries..
lee dong wook and jo bo ah look good together...
i have only seen kim bum in boys over flowers and i liked him in bof because his lovestory with the female lead's best friend was the only worthy thing about the entire drama.. his character gives me damon Salvatore vibes..
does the main story end with s2 or will it be continued to s3? i looked up kingdom:asin and it seems to be separate from the main story as the leads are different..
i personally wanted to go and kill the queen and her father.. i wish they get eaten by the king in s2.. hoping these two will have a miserable death in s2..

i personally enjoy newer kdramas more than the older ones.. flower of evil, its okay to not be okay, 365:repeat the year, memorist, the fiery priest etc are really good dramas but none of them are rom-coms.. i guess the only fluffy rom-com i can remember now is extraordinary you.. these all are 2019-2020 shows.. i dont want much cdramas mainly because of how male lead and female leads are portrayed.. they are still stuck in the mid-2000 kdrama era where the male lead is rich arrogant and bossy and female lead is dumb submissive and ofcourse poor.. i guess the only cdramas i have watched in which the female lead had better characterization were big boss( it dont have any romance) and sweet compact but they were really long and loses the plot in b/w but still better than other cdramas i have seen..
I strongly agree with #1 ex."The World of the Married" it could have ended at 6ep & I would have been happy but…
the humorous dialogues of crash landing on you were hilarious.. esp by the guy who always talks back at the FL.. the ML of well-intended love which was released in 2019 is worst than any arrogant narcissist kdrama male leads of the mid 2000s.. that guy literally did planning and plotting to get the girl and he dont even realize what he did wrong.. he was a stalker and his actions were psychotic.. they romanticised stalking, planning and plotting, chauvanism, sexism and everything that should never be romanticised.. the chauvinism male leads and week female leads of cdramas exceed mid-2000 kdramas.. at least kdramas started portraying better male leads and female leads..
the worst is an oppa turns to boyfriend and when it does not work out, he again turns to oppa.... the whole meaning…
oppa in korea dont exactly have the same meaning as other regions.. it dont really have the brotherly affection when a girl uses it for non-blood related guys.. i never found girls calling older guys they are close to as oppa because in my region its the same.. infact in my region we use it more casually than koreans.. korean girls use oppa only for older guys that they are close to but in my region girls use it on any random young guy who is older than them.. its just a sign of respect.. calling guys older than girls just by their name is a bit rude and disrespectful.. its applicable to guys addressing older girls as well.. we also have similar phrases for noona and oppa..
i felt bad for HH but its his fault as well.. he lets his mother dictate his career and he gets the blame when it dont work.. he is finally in the place HJ was for all these years.. the father at least gave him the reality check he needs and called him out for doing everything his mother wants him to do.. i also appreciate his parents for not making him an arrogant rich brat but they made taught him to be nice even when he dont have to be.. i also dont get why he is trying so hard to spend time with JH... she is openly dating his best friend and he is trying every chance he gets to spend time with her..
i only thought there will be a controversy over charlie jung and charlie jung might help him to clear the controversy but never thought there will be a suicide... also whether a controversy is right or wrong it always affects korean celebs esp the young ones..
i loved the brother today.. the difference b/w the brother and father is the brother is aloof and rude and blabbers anything that comes to his mouth to anyone and everyone and its not reserved only for HJ and the grandfather.. the way he was replying back to haters were funny..
the scene from her apartment I think is coming in future episodes, maybe even their break up scene? I dont know
did the last precap showed their breakup scene? i dont remember that.. i know a breakup is waiting for us seeing how they both are gonna get busy with their professional life.. ep 8 precap also showed about charlie jung but even in ep 9 that didnt come up.. so i guess the precap is not entirely about just the next episode..
i wont say his kissing scenes are bad but its basic.. not very memorable like ji chang wook ,park seo joon, yoo…
thats the case with most of the young actors.. not just pbg.. their kissing scenes are flat.. i guess nowadays young actresses are better kissers.. like kim yoo jung was only 18 and her kissing scenes in clean with a passion was good, nam ji hyun was only 21 when she did those hot kissing scenes with ji chang wook in suspicious partner.. young actresses cast opposite older actors have better kissing scenes than young actors cast opposite older actresses.. it used to be the opposite before..
this episode was fast.. he because a superstar even before we could register that he made it big.. the show says 1 yr has passed.. so only 1 more yr more the downfall and back to the top(if there is any downfall at all) seems like they edited out some of the scenes from the last precp like the redcarpet scene and HJ and JH in the hotel room..
HH's sister and his friend are cute together.
its high time the grandpa and HJ gave it back to the father.. he was unnecessarily being butthurt.. even the brother knew when to shut up..

also it was kind of said in the last episode that it has been an yr since HJ actively started pursuing his acting career..
ep 8 precap also showed about charlie jung but even in ep 9 that didnt come up.. so i guess the precap is not entirely about just the next episode..

'oho, how dare you?'
lol
but he was super adorable saying all these..
