are you watching anything new? i dont have anything to watch.. more like dont feel like watching anything..

some of the episodes b/w 11 to 16 are boring.. esp the one with the so called mystery but this one has an amazing ending.. they rapped it up really well.. most of the kdramas have a rushed ending but this one dont..
just fast forward the scenes you find boring.. the drama is definitely worth a try..

weekends are back to boring... for the last 2 months i knew when froday, saturday, sunday comes.. now again the days dont seem to matter..

1. the scene after that poor child comes to buy things and puppy and SB watching( 11th or 12 th episode i guess).. there SB says to DH that she first wanted to be a florist but after seeing how the store brings happiness to others she wants to continue working in the store.. also she wanted to go to college and her result was out.. she anyway couldnt continue in that farm..
she wanted to go away from DH and his family so its obvious that she cannot keep working at a store that close to his house.. she left the entire city not just the store and DH's house..
2. in the initial episodes it was said that DH will go back if he gets a chance.. in 2 or 3rd episode..
3. she posted it but returned to her.. she said that while giving the letter to DH's father.. she didnt know the new address of DH's mother so she couldnt post it again..

SB was never reduced to just romance.. DH only had positive influence of SB.. he is the one that encouraged her to write the exam and taught her to choose a calmer way to solve her issues instead of being impulsive.. same with DH. SB only had positive influence of him..

its not just south korea, celebrities in asia seems to be kept on a higher ground and fans literally worship them.. i am from india and its like that here as well.. but indian celebs seems to get the best of both world.. they get worshiped like south korean celebs but also has the freedom in private life like american celebs.. people in india dont care who is dating who or if any celebs throw tantrum or not.. as long as they entertain the audience the celebs can enjoy success..
s.korea gives too much power to the fans and i personally dont like it.. its way more extreme for kpop idols than kdrama actors.. they work there ass of at a very tender age and a single dating 'scandal' can ruin their entire career.. those fans behave as if they dont have bf/gf or they dont date themselve..

they were definitely making a mountain out of a mole..
people already had problem with kyj and jwc pairing for god knows why.. she already acted with someone as old as jcw in her previous drama and did kissing scenes.. i guess some people cannot handle the fact that KYJ wants to do more grown up roles and dont want to water the image they made of her.. she dont want to act all cute and innocent and play highschool girl in teen dramas and thats her choice.. even nam ji hyun did suspicious partner at the same age as KJY and it also had intense kissing scenes.. she didnt receive this much backlash..
BR didnt even have half of the problematic things dramas like boys over flowers or heirs had where the lead guy basically forces himself on the girl.. those are high rated dramas in korea..
the media added fire into the controversy.. they only highlighted the negative comments( they always do that).. the drama had a steady viewership and was no.1 on its official streaming sites.. so its obvious that the drama had more fans than antis.. but the antis managed to take things upto the censor board..

BR reached a level were whatever the makers do, it will only affect them negatively.. the kiss and no kiss both worked against them.. when they tried to be edgy it angered a set of people and when they went for a more clean scenes, that also angered another set of people..

i guess some people had some pend-up frustration and they released it on BR.. the makers might not have thought SB kissing DH will be this big of an issue when they made it clear that she was 19 at that time.. also the kiss wasnt the only problem.. the knetz had problem with SB's wardrobe, EB dancing in a karoke in her school uniform, showing a prostitute etc.. i didnt even notice SB's clothes before i read the articles against it.. she was wearing what every kdrama female leads wear and BR is not the first drama with highschool girls going to karoke and singing..
whatever be the reason, it affected the drama and the makers have to change the story.. the drama had the potential to be edgy and quirky..

the link to the webtoon was shared by someone here during the starting of the drama and i read the first few chapters.. its too much of an adult webtoon and the drama does has some of the dialogues from the webtoon but they changed all the adult scenes into comedy scenes like YJ asking DH to meet her at the hotel and all.. if they were going for the slow romance then the drama should have had 18 episodes.. the whole SB-DH setup was really nice and KYJ and JCW were good in their roles.. the age difference goes well with their relationhsip.

there used to be a time when i was completely obsessed with supernatural and the 3 guys esp jensen ackles. he is without a doubt one of the most perfectly looking guy out there.. i love all the guys even now but i stopped following the show around s11 or 12.. i hope the guys make it big even after spn ends.. jensen ackles has potential to make it big in hwood..

i watched till ep 8 and i might drop it or fast forward watching only jcw and the madam scenes..
in the intro song yooah's name comes before yoona's.. so she is the female lead.. just because yoona's character ends up with the ML doesnt mean she is the FL.. the drama concentrates more on the characters of jcw and song yooha...

its a lay zhang drama.. he dont do kissing..

they had no other option as they got an official warning which apparently is a big deal for a channel..

extracurricular is a netflix original drama which didnt air on tv.. BR aired on national tv with well known actors.. also the source material for BR was based on an adult webtoon.. this didnt go down well with a lot of people and they were searching reasons to bash the show..

except her character everything else is pretty good till ep 7.. i have only reached ep7..
like everyone here is saying, the madam lady is amazing..

the fight scenes are shown in a cartoon and webtoon way.. its supposed to be like that.. its kind of the same way in strong woman do bong soon as well.. its shot in a comic book manner...
the core characterization and the emotions of those characters shows were very realistic..

current cdramas are like how kdramas were a decade ago.. too rich to be true male lead who is the most intelligent person on earth and too dumb to be true female lead who is always submissive to the male lead.. its like the FL exist only to worship the ML and boost his ego.. not to mention the below average acting in almost all the dramas.. the only place were cdramas are superior to kdramas is the technical aspect.. cdramas have one of the best visual effects.. its even better than american series..
cdramas lack strong female leads which was the case for kdramas 4-5 yrs ago.. also the cartoon fighting scenes in BR are supposed to be like that unlike cdramas were people are flying around in serious fighting scenes esp in historic setup dramas..
even in fantasy genre kdramas have characters with real depth and emotions.. also the popular dramas for the last 3-4 years have more to do with character depth, acting and story than glitz and glamour.. cloy, hospital playlist, iotnbo etc are very well acted and well directed dramas with good characterization of the leads and none of these dramas are fantasy genre.. out of the top 10 highest rated cable dramas only goblin is fantasy genre..

watched the first 6 episodes and everything is good except for the FL.. i personally dont thing she is the FL just because she is paired with the ML.. song yoonah's name comes before yoona's in the intro and she has a more important role to play.. yoona's acting is very bad in this one and its very evident since everyone else's acting is really good.. the other 3 leads are really good..

it didnt really had any matured content but just to make the haters shutup they could have changed the matured rating..
the only scene in the entire drama with some kind of matured content was DS's intro scene.. except that every scene was exaggerated by knetz..

not the best work of the leads but they acted really well.. its hard to imagine jcw as DH because of his image but he nailed it..
i dropped both mdbtc and healer halfway through.. this is my first drama of KYJ that i completed and 2nd drama of jcw after suspicious partner.. i liked his character in healer along with the 2nd lead but overall story became really stretchy and boring after ep 14-15..

second have of the drama had some really good emotional scenes and character development.. SB-DH had some really good scenes as well.. i really feel the drama deserves a special episode with the director having enough freedom.. he is definitely a really good director.. the writing was average but his direction made some episdoes really stand out..

i guess since iotnbo aired on cable channel while BR aired on national channel is the difference.. at the beginning the FL from both the shows had to face backlash due to some weird people who dont know how to see a fictional show as fictional.. these are the same people who came into kdrama by watching boys over flowers and playful kiss.. eyeroll..
also iotnbo wasnt promoted as a family show. that might also be a reason.. majority of the people had problem with BR because of the source material of the drama.. they didnt like the fact that its an adaptation of an adult webtoon and watched every single scene with an eagle eye to pick fault in it..
