she was a high school senior and that too for like 15 mins of the entire drama and then the story continues when she is 22 and he is 29..

well then i guess its just me.. there are some shows that i watched till the end only because i watched it when it was ongoing.. when i binge watch hyped up dramas, most of the time i end up getting bored by the second half.. there are very few hyped up kdramas i liked from start to end when i binge watched it.. so i thought i dont get the hype because of my binge watching and it might have been more enjoyable watching it while its ongoing..

i guess the advantage of watching an on-going drama is that the little stretchering in b/w dont feel like too much if we watch only 2 episodes per week.. we get time in b/w to relax and not dwell too much into the story unlike binge watching it..
when i look back to iotnbo, i agree that some of the episodes in the 2nd half of the drama literally did nothing much to the main plot but when i was watching it while it was on-air it didnt feel that much..

kyj is 20-21 yr old with almost 15 yrs experience in the industry.. even more than jcw himself.. her agency and her parents are there to look after her even though she herself is capable.. she dont need keyboard warriors and that too from outside korea to protect her.. she clearly knows who to work with and not..
also she already acted with a guy 10-12 yrs older than her when she was 18.. jcw dont look too old for her from any angle..
people online are becoming way too sensitive than required and creates a mountain out of a mole.. if anyone dont like the pairing and age difference then dont watch it.. as simple as that.. why spread hate? people need to chill

i started following it after seeing the trailer and some scenes from 1st episode..
i saw articles about the casting and saw some people not liking the pairing due to age gap but i wasnt planning on watching it until i saw the trailer..
i didnt see much hate for the show on the comments on insta or kissasian or drama cool.. some people had problems with some scenes but there was no hate for the show.. i only saw people down right harshly criticizing the show only on mdl..
i get constructive criticism of some people and i also think this is not the best drama out there but it definitely dont deserve the hate it got..
i guess majority of the people had problem with the source material of the show rather than the pairing.. i personally dont see the big age gap b/w jcw and kyj.. kyj dont look like a kid and jcw looks younger than his age..

so true.. a lot of people started rating it 1 and 2 just by watching the first episode or just by readin comments about the show..

displaying jcw's kissing skills.. the drama only used that one talent of his to the fullest except that they wasted him completely in the drama..

i so agree with ma dong chan.. i though ji chang wook can never play an unlikeable character until this one..

i agree that BR had a very late romance( and no proper romantic scenes) but they had a base for the relationship.. in MMS, one scene they were having very platonic conversations and next he started showing jealousy and possessiveness out of nowhere.. i thought i missed an episode in b/w and got confused..
it did had a hot kissing scene but the chemistry was flat.. i feel the only place MMS is superior to BR is in having kissing scenes..

after a long thought, i decided to give this drama a try and i understand why everyone criticizes or even hate this drama..
when i first saw the comments and criticism faced by the FL i thought people are being too harsh on her as she is pretty new but seeing the drama i got it.. i guess it was better to cast a famous idol actor than her as the idol would have at least helped with some viewership from her fans.. her acting as an over the top character was very awkward to watch..
i tried this because it had jcw and the writer and director of swdbs which is one of my all time fav drama.. all of them disappointed me as well.. even though jcw's last drama BR also wasn't something extraordinary, his character and his acting were good.. here i dont get his character at all and his acting is not something to praise about.. it wasn't bad but wasn't good either.

this one has one of the worst chemistry i have seen in kdramas and definitely the worst pairing of jcw.. k2 couple seems so much better after this one.. there is no connection b/w some episodes and after 2-3 meetings the ML start being jealous.. i thought i missed an episode in b/w and checked it twice. the leads didnt even have any heart to heart conversation or moment for him to have any kind of romantic feelings for the girl.. he hardly showed any sympathy to the girl and the next moment they are having intense eye locks..


i guess the drama would have at least saved itself from the harsh criticism if it didnt had all those famous names attached to it.. the expectations were very high so the disappointment also became very high..

i tried watching this drama and BR is far better than this..

so i am not the only one.. :)

seems like it.. the actors or the channel dont have any problem showing intimate kissing scenes.. jcw's drama suspicious partner aired on the same channel and it had 3 passionate kissing scenes with tons of lovey dovey scenes..

they even have provocative dance steps and some girls are barely adults and they air all this on national tv.. but they have problem with SB's clothes..
