the age gap didn't occur to me when i saw goblin back then coz the actress dont look that young even though she was roaming around in her school uniform half the time.. she just acted childishly but then centuries-old goblin and grim reaper fought and pouted like kids.. i watched goblin when i newly got into kdramas and in more than half of the kdramas, female leads act immature, so her childishness didnt look weird to me.. i remember dropping a gentleman's dignity because a 30+ yr old school teacher was behaving like an immature teenage girl and funnily it was written by the writer of goblin..
also goblin and his bride didnt had much chemistry regardless of the age gap and i didn't care much about their romance.. i watched goblin for the bromance, comedy and the love story of the 2nd leads..
age gap doesn't matter as long as the FL or ML dont look too young like ksh in radio romance..
in backstreet rookie kyj looked mature and the leads had an age gap so it was fine.. same with search www.. even though lee jae wook was only 21 he looked matured for his age so he looked fine with lee daehee.. ljw and kyj were visually compatible for ldh and jcw resp.. so it wasn't awkward to watch..

one of the main essences of swdbs is that the female lead looks very cute and fragile but has superpowers... so do bong soon was supposed to be super cute and tiny..

by nailed she meant did well with his character.. its not a negative word.. she appreciated his performance..

K2 is neither 3.5 nor 8.5 for me.. its 6-7 i guess... i liked the beginning and enjoyed it till they started giving more screentime to anna.. neither the character nor the acting was good.. also the sudden romance flew over my head.. the guy was getting revenge for killing his gf and out of nowhere is giving lovey-dovey eyes to a girl who literally has no personality whatsoever. i loved madam choi.. i would have loved her even if she killed all the good characters in the drama.. like a lot of people, i also agree she and K2 had more chemistry and their car scene was really good.. the drama is a 7ish for me only because of how hot jcw looked in every single scene.. recently he has become my favourite..

kdramas need to stop adding romance in intense thriller dramas like how memorist did.. it had a male and female lead who worked together and they didn't squeeze romance in b/w just for the sake of it.. k2 would have been a better drama if it wasn't for that cheesy romance..

the guy from clean with a passion looks way older than jcw.. jcw hardly looks like he is in his 30s and in BR he looks younger than his normal self.. also kyj looks very matured and grownup in BR than in clean with a passion..
also BR clearly shows a couple with age difference of 7-8 yeras.. i dont know how it was in clean with a passion

i dont think netflix will take it down worldwide.. at max may be only in korea.. kcsc dont have any say what netflix shows outside korea..

BR is backstreet rookie.. BR and IOTNBO both started airing and ended at the same time and a lot of people followed both the shows at the same time.. BR had a scene in the first episode where the FL in her school uniform kisses the ML who was 7-8 yrs older than her.. also it was adapted from an adult webtoon so everyone was ready to jump on it from the start..

she did clean with a passion and her costar was as old as jcw.. BR dont even have proper kissing scenes.. except for 2 peek in the lips there isnt any kissing scenes or intimate scenes and kyj and jcw look amazing together..

ya.. nowadays people find problem in anything and everything..

if i am right i guess its about MY touching KT's abs and her repeated advice for having sex.. when it aired i saw some people having problem with her invading his personal space..
even the female lead from backstreet rookie was called a sexual harasser for the kiss..
seems like lockdown and covid made people more sensitive than necessary.. they are taking out their frustrations on fictional shows rather than actual problems happening around them..

what happened?
the show ended 2-3 weeks ago then why is there a complaint for it..
these stupid baseless complaints already ruined BR.. but atleast iontbo finished airing and i dont think it can be pulled off from online platforms like netflix.. netflix has nudity, foul language, families sleeping with each other and what not in most of their shows and one scene in iotnbo which is considered to be sexual harassment by a small group of people is like a drop in the ocean for netflix..
shows like kissing booth and 365 days charted worldwide on netflix for weeks and those movies had way more problemtic scenes than any of the kdramas..

i watched it while it was ongoing and that was 2 yrs ago..
i will tell you as far as i remember..
the prime minister wanted power and indirectly rule the kingdom.. thats why he dethroned and killed the first king and put the male lead's father as the king.. the current king is not capable of ruling the kingdom of his own and ended up being a puppet in the prime minister's hand.. the prime minister or his son cannot be the king as only royal blood can take over the crown.. thats why he forcefully married his daughter to the crown prince but since CP hated the prime minister he didnt consummate his marriage with the crown princess.. the crown princess was already in love with the FL's brother since childhood and gets pregnant.. during that time this act can end up killing the entire bloodline of the prime minister.. so he wanted to kill the CP and hide everything..
at the end he knew it has reached a do or die situation with the CP.. he didnt wanted his children to suffer for his greed so he made sure they will be safe..

currently on ep 9 and love everything else except the love story b/w taemi and morgan.. at start it was fine but for the last 2-3 episodes its extremely boring..

i also watched this one seeing everyone saying swdbs and this one are similar but i got bored with this one.. for me swdbs without a doubt is a better drama esp due to the acting of the leads..
