tbh I doubt the two leads will end up together... but idk they might finesse this bc the writing is so ridiculous…
huh? no I don't think so. He said her name then asks her after what she got in math and she says four and he's like four!? he's def not expecting that score, I dont think anyone was for that matter
He also says her name the first time normally, then he says it like he's recalling her name from somewhere, and then he says it with familiarity. also its Kdrama it's criminal to not have a past connection, entry level requirement for every script actually lmao
I doubt they're related ofc im just kidding about that bit, especially with how her mom who was the pharmacist reacted to him
Why is the secretary throwing herself at her boss... like girl he's made it clear multiple times that he's not into it. Then her in the car reaching to touch his hand, girl wtf
I'm getting second hand embarrassment, and she's basically harassing him yet he's keeping her as his secretary regardless. like why not just reassign her? I don't understand is he supposed to fall for her or did something already happen and we didnt get the flashback for it yet idk
tbh I doubt the two leads will end up together... but idk they might finesse this bc the writing is so ridiculous…
Im just curious to see what past life connection they're going to pull up because he sounded like he knew her when he said her name...I'm gonna laugh if they end up being somehow related
I was bored like two weeks ago, and just clicked on it not expecting anything. Dare I say this is a masterpiece like who wrote this bc the gears are turning
Could've just wrote about some f4 type of group like they always do instead of grown ass man like I just do not…
tbh I doubt the two leads will end up together... but idk they might finesse this bc the writing is so ridiculous lol yet somehow all the pieces are fitting together to where you forget to question it.
Like him not even requesting, he demanded to be written as the male lead in her BL. I don't know that's pretty questionable already for a teacher, but it's so funny.
I think just take it lightly and just watch it like a piece of fiction...again HIGHLY doubt the two are going to end up together, it'll likely be at most besties or he somehow is revealed to be her cousin LOL the whole drama is ridiculous anything can happen
finally a Kdrama ending I can get behind. No bs because there's no more time left! Maybe the 8 episodes were a silver lining. I think him wanting to marry her immediately is so funny, especially because they keep mentioning him to be Gen-z. I don't know most of us have commitment issues so good for him.
Wait, don't shoot me y'all, but why do they have chemistry?? And I see some people saying that they hope their relationship stays within "appropriate" limits. We're past appropriate. He found her writing BL about him and his other teacher friends, and he requested to be main lead or THE "obsessive top" lmao. Idk nothing about that screams "appropriate" to me, so I think we can just watch this as a piece of entertaining fiction.
Also if the character's 2002 born, the age gap isn't THAT insane if there's a time jump down the line. 🤷♀️
I'm just saying the title is "absolute value of romance", the tag is romance, and his line at the end of episode 8 was hella poetic for no reason. I have no clue where this show will end up, but if there is a time jump don't be too surprised ...
Though I REALLY doubt they're going to have them end up together...they just might be besties in the end. Will I be just slightly disappointed if they're JUST friends...I better not be, this show has me questioning my moral compass
Edit: wait again please 🙏🏻 don’t shoot!! But they technically didn’t even meet as student and teacher ☝🏻 it was accuser and accused…omg what am I saying this is the damage that pretty little liars did on me growing up…
this is seriously so good it's insane... craziest premise too ....
ok she's got a crush on him now, so maybe she'll start to love math 🤷♀️ he might start seeing himself begin to show up more as a main character and clock it
either way this would be so much funnier if it suddenly turns out later that he's like her cousin or something because in the first episodes it seems like he knew her already by name... so that's probably going to come up
no what was that fighting ahah it was so funny. I know I said before it was like the feeling came out of nowhere, but I think these two episodes helped with creating that bridge. I just dont know how theyre going to fit so much in the last two episodes....
I really doubt the romance tag is for the leads, that's probably for the BL side of the show...The leads are coming off more like brother and sister I think. But who knows.
The "sub" character convo was the best thing so far about this show
Soonrok is a robot 😭we don’t have time for this!! we only got 4 episodes left
I know! At least the actor is doing well. I think despite his character being sort of bland on the outside he's able to portray subtle expressions and awkwardness. I think the main issue is the writing. It feels like we're not getting enough of his inner world and we're halfway.
I don't know why but Yumi's giving me an ick right now lmao ... girl lock in I'm second hand embarrassment. I wish she wouldn't be so "cutesy" and shy now that she likes him because now both of them are just acting timid and it's just brief exchanges for the most part. I know we're starting to get a little bit of his POV but it still doesn't feel like he wants her or likes her so when she's being forward or becomes BOLD I'm just like "no! what are you doing!!" ... This needs more than 8 episodes too!!
Her liking him feels like it's out of nowhere. Just a "few days" ago she was annoyed and hating on him and then suddenly developed attraction ... and now she's gone 180 asking him to watch a movie together lol it makes sense why his expression was so shocked. I'd be confused too if someone flipped the switch a week later and is suddenly being super nice to me.
He ofc is showing a little jealousy bc of the baseball writer, but again all of this is out of nowhere?!
I think this drama is going to stay underrated, as it has gone under the shadow of "Would you marry me?"…
underrated or not tbh it's doing very well viewership wise! It's also never boring or at least not to me. I see people complaining about the endless obstacles... but I mean it makes sense given that they're in an IMF crisis and the CEO has never worked a day in his life prior to his father's passing. And even if he was a seasoned businessman, failure after failure is very much a part of every journey. I think it's so interesting to watch them struggle and fail and then find silver linings in the little things. If there weren't so many obstacles THEN it would get boring. I really enjoy the dynamics between each character too, like everyone has each others back or eventually comes to that point. It's so heartwarming
Nammo was so blunt with him! Why do you chew gum? ohh just dig him a grave.
I also wish miseon would give in a little!! But at the same time I understand her. She's not only a hard worker, she's an eldest daughter who basically has been running her household and raising her younger siblings. TP is a little immature and seems like a playboy, so it makes sense as to why she guards her heart a little bit with him. She's also very independent, and based on the preview I think she says something like I don't want to be dependent on you emotionally. I think that's such a mature and nuanced thing to touch upon especially in drama. We've seen that she lacks confidence in herself, so she needs to find herself before she can be with someone else or else you end up being codependent on each other and that's suffocating and not healthy. The same thing for TP. He depends a lot on miseon and others because he's also not confident in being a CEO. They need some more time to grow into their new positions in life as individuals before they start a relationship.
this drama makes me feel like im trying to do mental gymnastics. I understand the plot and everything and why she's upset. I mean he's definitely messed up for what he did, and I think anyone would be distraught to find out that their best friend was dead and their twin covered for them. Actually that's a little morbid. I also understand his character. However, I don't know... While I can understand them both ...they both piss me off .... like can she just calm a little .... you can dislike someone and what they did to do without being over the top childish...and he's like ehhh oddly cocky? idk I'm gonna wait till all the episodes are out I guess
He also says her name the first time normally, then he says it like he's recalling her name from somewhere, and then he says it with familiarity.
