On the contrary, her shows in the past few years are much more to my taste than before. Also, both seasons of Yumi's Cells are pretty recent.

I do know it's not a prison drama (I was actually expecting the ML to break out of prison sooner), I described it as such since the majority of the released eps took place in the prison.

This felt like a well-executed prison break drama, but I have mixed feelings towards episode 4's ending of what looks like a round in Squid Game. I'm also not a big fan of the villain who looks like a kid eating his M&Ms (no hate to the actor).

KHY playing a lawyer didn't occur to me before, but I do think her sharp tone and way of speaking would suit it. It's a shame that Nam Jihyun stepped down but this casting looks good too.

I think "turned down the offer" is more appropriate for the headline. Anyways, I think JJH isn't inclined to do another spy drama right after Tempest, and I'm also kinda unsure about how a Korean remake of The Americans would work.

Decent first episode, but ngl watching Lee Jungjae act much younger than he actually is at the start was pretty cringe-inducing. Luckily we are done and over with that portion lol.

This cast is pretty attractive but the screenwriter wrote Sisyphus the myth...

I had likes and dislikes regarding Little Women and Tempest, but there's no denying that their works have mostly been successful. The premise of this new show sounds appealing though.

As much as I like the show, the same villain getting in the way of everything the ML does in every single episode is getting repetitive.

I love her in most of her roles and it's a very rare opportunity for an older actress to get a lead action role. Hope it goes well for her

It will be nice to see her in such a different role. The director seems to be a veteran cinematographer for several well-known movies who's transitioning into directing.

Ep 3 is a big upgrade from the first 2 episodes imo. Loved the ending where Miseon becomes emotional at her worth/potential being seen. When one door closes, another one opens

While I am totally not looking forward to the childhood connection (bleughh) and ML's past trauma (urghhh), I find this pretty funny and fast-paced. The episodes fly by. I would lose all my dignity to secure a 5 million dollar house as well lol.

I also found the writing a bit uneven and am not very fond of the occasional abrupt cutting of scenes (which is more on the director ig). However I think it's a nice and unique setup, which already makes it stand out from most other shows.

This show has lost its spark for me after the time skip. The characters' lives are now pretty much uneventful -- especially Youngrye, who is frustratingly passive in expressing her love and is just stuck being the perfect friend to everyone. It feels like she has been sidelined and is no longer the show's central character. I am also utterly disinterested in whoever the ML ends up with and it's disheartening to see it affect the FLs' friendship. I suspect that the writers never had a direction for the show after removing the bus conductors' backdrop. With 2 episodes left, they are now relying on creating a new villain to push the narrative forward. Only the characters and actors' likeability is carrying it now.

Very solid 2nd episode, I did think it leaned into sentimentality a bit much for my taste (especially that ending with cherry blossoms falling out of nowhere -- felt pretty unnecessary and jarring to me) but I get that it gives the ML the drive that he needs.

First episode was quite slow and the flow of events was predictable (I didn't read the synopsis beforehand), but it's a promising start. The vibes/aesthetic and background music were great.

It feels like the show switched genres after ep 2, and I have to say I preferred the first 2 eps.
