I'm going need a flow chart of who is related to who and how π₯²Also, I know he's listed as 6'2 (which is TALL)…
So this show is cute and I enjoy it, but I almost feel like the actors they cast are way too young for the plot. Like it's almost as it they are cosplaying as adults lol I feel like late 20's, early 30's would have been better.
Also, it was surprisingly sexual for a cdrama. Especially one with like 22yo-23yo leads. I was surprised π€£
The scene where all 5 of the childhood friends are finally together in the cafe was a great few minutes of television.
What a perfect ensemble cast this show has. Hats off to the casting director. I really love Mi Ran's character. Kim Bo Ra really deserves more high profile roles.
Idk about the male lead's wardrobe budget, but in the first 4 eps I saw about 30k worth of Chanel bags between…
The picture wall and kiss weirded me out at first but tbh they are both handsy and weird lol Perfect match. Like who buys an apartment across from someone who's rejected them just to be close to them. Stalkers that's who jkjk I'm just glad the ml has red flags too, so I can ignore the fl's and continue on enjoying the show.
The brother/sister relationship is super cute though. Probably the healthiest relationship the show π€
Idk about the male lead's wardrobe budget, but in the first 4 eps I saw about 30k worth of Chanel bags between the female leads lol So I don't think budget was the issue...unless they spent all their money on dingding and tan xin π
So much fluff. There is literally negative drama in this show, so if you're someone who needs murder plots and shitty ex's this isn't for you π€£ I liked that a lot of the scenes were filmed on location and not against a green screen and if they were you couldn't tell. The music was great as well. I wish we could have seen more of the second couple, because the main one got together at light speed and while they are very sweet, it's a bit much.
The only issue I had is that there is no way the ml could be a surgeon, professional voice actor and Michelin star chef and still maintain this healthy of a relationship lol There is a decent age gap in both main couples, but the fl's are in grad school and the guys are late 20's early 30's so π€·π»ββοΈ
Also, I like how all the senior lawyers take care of Cheng Yao π₯Ί Bonus points for not making Cheng Yao and Tan Ying rivals~~~ like they usually do in office settings.
Really enjoyed this. I couldn't make it through osn because of the godawful sountrack. ikily has the same kind of music playing in the bg, but it's way less often and the songs are less annoying. The ex's and parents (sml/fl) are annoying and it's crazy how they just sit there planning the fl's marriage without her there. They're delusional π₯΄
Loved the setting of the flower shop and veterinarian office.
Also, I love how Xu Nuo's cat was always in the background looking for stuff knock over π
I think there is a ton of romance. Physically...there's lots lol I'm on episode 13 and they've full on made out like 5 times. But they are very much in love with each other for most of the show and have a lot of sweet moments as well.
There is a lot going on, but the main leads romance is central to the plot.
This is a show that tackles some serious issues (very well imo), but doesn't take itself too seriously. Like all the main characters are nuts, but in a good way. If you have any issue with morally gray characters, this is not for you lol
The acting is solid though and the there is actually a lot of really thoughtful dialogue throughout the show if you pay attention. It's like Hometown Cha Cha Cha, but everyone has crackhead energy πΉ
hello MDLers, can someone spoil the ending for me? is it happy or sad?
It's 100% happy if you see Joseon Tae Ha and Seoul Tae Ha as two different people. If you think these two characters are EXACTLY the same person then you might have some issues lol
So the little boy is courage and the old man is fate. I like it. It shows that if you have courage, you can fight against predestination and make your own path.
I still haven't watched the last 2 episodes, so maybe (hopefully) my wires are crossed...
BUT I read a few spoilers and it seems like people wanted yeon woo to get together with Joseon tae ha when she traveled back in time. I'm sorry but what?? Like her husband who she loves and has physically been with is a whole-ass different man? And people are actually pissed at the FL for this? For a website that goes nuts over the mere suggestion of cheating this something I didn't expect lol
And idc if it's a reincarnation~ it's still a different person. Past and "present" yeon woo were the same person, but it was completely diff for tae ha's character imo
there's always gotta be that one comment about a celebrity's weight. π I think she looks great but this is…
The show/production brought it up when they mentioned pmy lost some insane amount of weight specifically for this role. I still hope they were bluffing and trying to stir shit before the shows release, because they said she got down to like 80 some odd pounds, which is insane for her height.
the story is not that fantastic, but until episode 8 it was bearable, but after that it got boring
I don't think it's fantastic either. Like I'm not saying it would be at a 9+. But when half of the comments are complaining about the airing schedule, you have to assume that factors into the rating.

Also, I know he's listed as 6'2 (which is TALL) but Liu Te seems even taller if possible lol

ps xiaoxing's wardrobe was great A+
