If you like straightforward plotlines - skip this. if you like everything to be explained - skip. if you are here for epic beasts or sci-fi - skip as well.
Also, I think some watchers are overly insisting on trying to explain "bound to hell" and the monsters when the main point of them is that they are non-explainable. It does feel loosely based on biblical themes (I wonder which books did they use catholic or protestant?), but hey it's even more fun. Plus series makes us question our understanding of "hell" and "sin", many religious groups use fear tactics to use people. What if the hell is random? what if hell is different than religious groups have described? (nobody returned from death in our world after all)
You know what? It was a good show! I enjoyed every minute of it and the themes it provided: capitalizing on death, violence as entertainment, victim-blaming, cancel culture/witch hunts, the rise of religion/cults, believing interpretations of religious groups (even if they have no idea)
It was solid 9/10, last few episodes felt a bit slow, but know it was a good suspenseful ride
Hmm, watched the first episode and not sure how to feel about it, it was for sure an interesting story... but that stereotype of an aggressive foreign woman who just says how it is.... I wish I wouldn't read into subtext, but uhhh
I will say that Korea is starting to catch up on the BL scene. Of course these dramas aren't aired on KBS, OCN,…
BL doesn't mean romance (if that makes sense? these days it's popular in manga and webtoons to have a messed up dynamics) it would just intensify the relationship of main leads and we wouldn't need to have a random female love interest to appear. It feels like it would naturally fit into some K-Dramas like Beyond Evil or Psychopath Diary, meanwhile in some others it would be indeed out of place. It feels like Bad and Crazy could be one of those that make it work (they will queerbait us either way, no?)

@ackery @only_benihime @Sofia_D Thank you for insights ♥ after your recommendations I started watching "To My Star" and it's pretty good, I will check out others too like "Light on Me", I suppose I'm not that big on school BL dramas (unless it's J-Drama) and just want more mature concept and dynamics ♥
@ackery yeah Beyond Evil main leads chemistry was phenomenal, tbh it was the only show I saw in which Yeo Jin Goo had chemistry with other main lead;

were there any actually good BL dramas? only one that comes to mind is Method (which was a movie and author insisted it wasn't BL), yet weirdly enough any other K-drama that was tagged as BL was rather cringy (and lazy writing), and somehow bromance tag dramas served better chemistry and undertones than k-drama BLs (or did I miss any good ones?)
Then again scriptwriters butchered Nagai's personality because now he is a brooding attractive medical student, who doesn't really care about anything. In other words, just Satoh Takeru being attractive on-screen.
sometimes I hope that k-dramas would create some serious BL drama, but I know that the only thing we will get is bromance. cable tv is like that. I bet we will also get the necessary FL love interest, because who else will the main lead save?
