Thank you for indepth research ♥ truth be told, I was expecting to see how many favourite villains the speakers had if any, and if the villain was male or female; but I suppose that's idea for another paper ♥
It's a pretty decent dark comedy, but I truly didn't care about characters. Their characterization was dreadful. Also how come only our main boy got all the spotlight?
Damn why yall want this to be a BL so badly, go watch a bl then. I personally am really liking this. The romance…
Also, BL fans don't appear from thin air. There needs to be strong subtext or even (as was mentioned in comments) potential for that, for example in webtoon. But... commenters just treat BL fans as crazy shippers once again.

"Go watch BL then" you know that there aren't that many well-written ones? Or ones that have budget? Especially coming from South Korea? and I bet that people that comment regarding BL already watched everything there was in the catalogue (it doesn't metter how good it was), not only from South Korea, but other asian countries too. We are getting scraps. And so far none of big South Korean channels commited to introduce LGBTIQ+ themes.
@Atsushi The show isn’t designated to be a BL. In the original webcomic the storyline centralises upon a revelation…
I know that (I read the comments), but I'm still dissapointed with queerbait. K-Dramas tend to do it more often. Especially when bromance tag is included. But eh, sure. Too bad backlash doesn't exist for queerbait and not commiting to actual LGBTIQ+ narratives (or just making it tiny mention and nod).
Also, I just read the comments and... Somehow I feel disappointed. You can't deny that the director included slow panning shots and flashbacks (to their discussions which happened minutes prior) to have the audience shipping two lads. Err... Even my little sis picked on that and she isn't even aware of BLs. But the romantic cinematography cliches just made it that way on purpose. At this point, why not be adventurous and make everybody friends?
