I don't know if it's a popular opinion or not but I don't think YPJ is very comfortable with her fiance which is pretty normal since they hadn't seen each other for years. The thing is that I don't think she loves him. She knows him since they were kids and she feels safe with him but just that. Even if he didn't turn out to be a piece of sh* I'm not sure if she would have married him.

Just finished the new episodes and I can feel the obsession slowly creeping in with this drama ( just like Yu Changxuan with Ye Pingjun 😂) The eps are getting more insane and so does the chemistry. Cheng Lei and Xu Ruohan thank you for your service 🔥🔥

Episodes 7-8 are my favourite so far. I loved the theatre show showing the big difference between the rich and poor. Kudos !!
I very much like that we see different sides of YCX though he's still an ass and in my opinion he deserved that slap.
I continue to love Ye Pingjun, such a badass FL.

The first two episodes were amazing. Lowkey the supporting characters are more interesting than the two main leads for now at least but I expect that this will change.

It's so interesting

Episodes 5-6: the drama continues to be interested with the focus in today's episodes being on battle politics. I like that we learn more about Changxuan's backstory with his brother and his father (his banter with his sister is so cute btw😂) and I like that his relationship with Pingjun is developing slowly.
Usually I hate childhood connections but this one was done beautiful and had a meaning.
The whole scene with him in her house was hilarious.
SFL is annoying and also I would have been fine without Yu Changxuan's right hand man having a crush on Ye Pingjun.
Did they imply that Pingjun and SFL are somehow related?

I can't believe I have to write this but If you watched the first episodes and you didn't like it then you can do something very simple: not continue watching it. You write a comment and then leave this page and find a drama that you like. How hard is that?

Ok I finished the first episodes and I'm very pleased so far with the directing and the cinematography. Cheng Lei and Xu Ruohan are killing it. I mean I knew that CL can pull off this kind of character but I'm mesmerized by Ruohan. I have only seen her in the Best Thing and the character there was very calm and I'm very happy that Ye Pingjun is badass and strong willed. Also I liked that they gave Yu Changxuan a backstory about his messed up family instead of the typical he's an as*(which he is😂 but still).
We're off to a good start and I can't wait for the next episodes!!🔥

I'm one of those who watched overdo and I liked it. It wasn't that bad but the main point here is that the two dramas are completely different except that they are set in the Republic China.
