Nice analysis. I actually feel sorry of Lan Qing. She obviously has some attachement issues. She lost the man she loved and her baby and then got attached to YCX who protected her and stayed by her side. they bonded over their grief but in my opinion she confuses all that with romantic feelings.

I shouldn't poke around in other social media because I actually saw comments of people blaming Cheng Lei for choosing to play this kind of character. Like what the hell?! Blaming the actor for doing his job? Then every actor or actress that played a murderer or a psycho should be blamed too.

And because I don't mention it enough I want to give flowers to Cheng Lei and Xu Ruohan. Those scenes are very hard to shoot but they're doing an excellent job. They really make you feel everything that you're supposed to feel. I knew they would deliver but I'm very impressed 🔥

Not gonna lie episode 14 was hard to watch and I wonder if it was really necessary all that. They could have shown his bad side with other ways but I guess it is what is. I don't know how she's going to fall in love him but it better be believable and first we better see him experience hell.

The novel was trash. No way it would have passed censorship and I'm glad they changed many things. I get that some are not comfortable with what we saw in today's episode but the trailers warned us.

I don't know how many episodes you watched but yes, he clearly has a crush on her but he definitely won't do anything cause he is very loyal to Yu Changxuan. In episode 13 it is more evident that he has feelings.

I think there is definitely a growth based on the reuters but we don't know how or when and if it's going to be believable and well written. Also a large part of the plot is about the war
