Reminder for everyone now that we're approaching the premiere: If this kind of toxic romance is not your cup of tea, if you feel uncomfortable with it or simply you don't like it then it's better not to watch it. Also the actors are just doing their job so please do differentiate fiction from real life. Let's just all enjoy the drama!!🥰
I just finished watching this for the first time (yes, I know shame on me for being so late😭) and wow what a drama!! I have no words for this masterpiece. Everything from the writing to the plot to the actors to the characters to the cinematography was so beautiful. I rarely say this for a drama but this one was perfect.
I wonder if these purists commenting here say the same when they see movies and dramas that have abuse, torture and killing or it's only about the bad bad sex.
"Her humiliation ritual to get more roles after being married and getting older" oh my god the misogyny…
You don't even make sense. Instead of focusing on the drama you go on and on about Son Yejin's personal life and how her in laws would feel and how kdramas are more sex when that's not even true. Like if you're familiar with the source material then you know that there will be explicit scenes. So yes the post is misogynistic.
Finished it and it was pretty good. I mean if you're familiar with the original plot then you know what to expect. I think the perfomances are the ones that stood out and I liked the chemistry between the leads. Son Yejin and Ji Changwook were, as always, exceptional (Son Yejin should do more grey/villain roles, it suits her. She had such a comanding presence) and even though I usually don't like Nana I think she did a good job portraying the character. Also I agree with some comments that there should have been bigger stakes for the characters but overall it was a decent adaption.
What's up with the comments and all this purity? Some people commenting here sound like they have never seen more bold scenes. What are you twelve? Or hating the actors cause they chose this drama. What even!
can you spoil me with namjun role synopsis please?ps already started reading the manhwa and dislike haesu first…
I think he's more of an antihero rather than a simply antagonist. He does some questionable things but he kinda has his reasons. You should continue reading to judge for yourself. I really hope they keep the story like the webtoon and not make it like a typical love triangle because the plot is more than that.
Oh the marriage proposal is such a bad idea. Like they don't want to lose each other but they have some very serious issues and they won't magically disappear with the marriage.
P.S. I want her laptop case. It was so cute
Let's just all enjoy the drama!!🥰
