So I started episode 8 on part 2/4 and didnt notice until I finished that part. I was confused, but no more confused than the rest of the story made me, so I sincerely thought, "huh, guess theyre just going to pretend that guy (jingjang) was always there," and didnt question it.

That experience is the best description I can give for how coherent the story/editing is lol

It's slightly less cheesy than middleman's love, some of the jokes land better, but it is exactly the same amount as awkward. The romance aspect is significantly better than ML, but the plot is worse/more confusing. The editing is poor in both shows, but the plot makes it more noticeable here. So far, I dont run to watch it but I do actually get through the entire episode each week. I wont compare it to their storyline in Cutie Pie because theres really no overlap in tone. (But the cutie pie storyline was better.) This is closer to ML by a wide margin.

This was the best episode thus far. These are actually the first NC scenes in this show I had any desire to watch. I have some gripes, but they were both well done for the most part. The use of imagery in the SunSalin scene was good.

Lin angers me. Constantly. Or maybe just irritates. His 90th fainting episode annoys me. The khun dad thing will never stop making me want to jump out of a fourth story window. I can't even pretend to care about the supernatural plot like this show would be so much better without it. Kinda sad it really was just Kaewmanee. I'd hoped they'd fake us out and make it Juladit or something, but he kinda redeemed himself as a character this episode so whatever.

SamYo is all I care about at this point. They're adorable and they really steal the show for me. PrimPim are a not-close second, and that is all of the characters I care about. Maybe Sun? Slightly?

I await the end like a prisoner tbh, two more weeks and I am free.

I just want someone who loves the OG series/novel to try making it. We probably won't get a good remake until someone is invested in telling it right because they love it instead of just capitalizing on it

Someone said they think Addicted is cursed and I've never agreed with anything more. I've spent over a decade waiting for a remake that does it justice and it's just not happening.

Mac does have an extensive career, but it doesn't really make it feel any less inappropriate. I don't trust most companies to move with actors best interest in mind, so I'm definitely not giving jinloe the benefit of the doubt, especially after watching the trailer. It just seems like a weird choice to have made ; there was never a chance they could follow the novel lol but if theyre not going the sanitized Stay With Me route, I just can't get past the casting. Particularly because of how many BL fans can. I'll leave it there though, I could rant on this for a whiiiiile.

I can only assume they dont have the money and are putting all their eggs in the Addicted: Heroin basket. Which isnt a bad idea if they are, it's a lot of people's OG favorite (including mine) but they casted a 16 year old and a 27 year old for a story that has sex scenes between their characters🙃. They just make questionable decisions.

I saw that and to be honest I dont think I'll end up watching it; I really loved BurgerKing (what a pair name lmao) but the ones I really wanted more story/content about was HidaSaint and Shokun (not necessarily Ken lol).

It literally has to be him, right? If it's any of the others it would be insane (though I wouldnt put it past Jinloe). Or I guess they could have someone previously unmet, but that would be.... a choice. Especially after them making Matteo an asshole, I was so excited about him right up until he gagged Shokun. That immediately made him a lost cause so I assumed the second season was supposed to be Ken's redemption arc and god I was looking forward to it because I didnt like him in the first, but alas I guess.

It's so frustrating , if they went about this halfway normal and just charged for season two instead of putting a subscriber goal on it, I would've (begrudgingly) paid.

I watched literally half of one episode of that nonsense and got mad because why that over just releasing season 2?? I lost hope entirely after seeing they were doing the remake of addicted heroin (also supposedly going to have a second season? I think theyre gonna do the same thing and try to capitalize off how big the OG shows fandom is.) Either way, I'm avoiding Jinloe in the future because Hit Bite is not their only series/actors that I liked only to have them forget about it/them.

I finished an hour long episode in 20 minutes. At this point, I'm just watching for the side couples, but even they have their issues. Personally, I thought MosBank could act but could use some work and a better script after big dragon. SunsetxVibes is making me question both conclusions.

Salil does not have a personality, so I am giving Bank some leeway if only because I wouldn't expect even the best actors to make something good out of no material, but leeway isnt a pass. The hyper codependent friend group could have been executed better-- it was cute at the beginning but lost the plot quickly. I hate side characters that feel flat, and whenever they're around Salil, both of his friends seem like moons orbiting jupiter. They take interest in Salil's life but not vice versa.

Sun doesnt feel like a character as much as he feels like a cardboard cutout of a prince-type boyfriend. Khun Dad is.....fucking egregious, I don't really want to even talk about it, it's so not....it's just not doing whatever they wanted it to be doing. Unless they wanted bone disolving cringe, then they succeeded.

I aggresively did not need ep 9 with all the parental supervision shit and the turbo misunderstanding + refusal to communicate combo. We did not have time for a misunderstanding saga, even if it only lasted half an episode. SamYo was the best part of this series for me and they had the nerve to rush them together since its almost over just so they could throw in a kiss. Like maybe shave 30 mins of dead space from the SunSalil couple and flesh out both side stories more?

I was excited for PrimPim at first, but Prim was extremely confusing and the writing didnt do a great job at making me want to root for them. In fact, I was mostly rooting for Pim to leave the poor woman alone. And then boom, episode 9 is like "heyyyy so now they like each other, heres some backstory to sell it lol"

They were trying to do too many things and ended up failing at all of them. Specifically because of this supernatural plotline thing thats going on. I dont give the back half of a single flying shit about it and, without it, I feel like there would have been enough time to actually follow a cohesive plot but...

Alas.

Also MosBank have crazy chemistry so Im trying to figure out how the director, screenwriter, or they themselves managed to obliterate it? I skipped past the NC scenes. I skipped them. Its not like im usually watching them frame by frame, or that I never fast forward through them, but never in my life have I just full out skipped past. It just wasnt compelling. Absolutely mad.


One episode left, so ill watch that to help MosBank get their bag. And then Ill wait to see the reviews before I watch another MosBank series. Their tiktoks are sincerely better than this.


EDIT: I rewatched the SamYo confession scene. I was too harsh, it's cute. Literally the best part of the episode, especially now that I know there are three left, not one.
