As the most watched movie of 2021 my expectations were so high... Story is not changing; high school, yankee, time slip... The best thing about the movie was Takemichi. I like it how he was silly and imperfect but he was still trying. I like that idea. Not your stereotypical hero. His acting is good but I'm afraid if he wears out his face since he is the main lead of many movie&drama in this last couple of years.
Overall worth watch but so many questions unanswered. I even read manga out of curiosity. There will be sequels which make sense.
Yamazaki Kento was portraing a character who lost his hope in love. It was easy to portrait this kind of character since there wasn't any emotions. Kadowagi Mugi and Araki Yuko's acting were real bad that i'm embarassed on their behalf. Mackenyu and Masaki Suda acted too good for this drama while their fellow actors were too bad. I like homeless character Harumi. He was mysterious and i thinked that maybe he was Eight's lost brother. If it was it'd be more interesting but nope...
There were too many kissing scenes with some blood which made me uncomfortable while watching it.
The best thing about the drama is theme song. Masaki Suda's Sayonara Elegy is still my jam. You should listen acoustic version too. I'm glad he made musical debut as a singer.
With all of the bad actings story is still worth watch. You can enjoy if you don't pay attention to acting.
This drama is Yokohama Ryusei's best effort so far. Action scenes were cool. Both of them made a good job. But both of them lack of emotions in my opinion. I couldn't feel romantic feelings from them. Psychology and hypnotizing was interesting enough to make me watch. Ending song Billie Eilish's Bad Guy suited this drama. Of course some unlogical things were found but nevertheless worth to watch.

Filming in a historical Ryokan was good idea. I'm sure many foreign Japanese fans liked it, like me. Nikaido Fumi was so beautiful and i like her daily outfit. Her acting as main role was good. I want to see her more romantic works. Maeda Gordon's first main role was surprising. I didn’t expected it to be so natural. I think we will see him more in Japanese romantic comedies. I like Iwata Takanori but in this drama he was overshadowed somehow. Matsui Rena's character was weird. It feels like they need a character that they can blame on for everything. There are some English song on soundtrack, i like it so far. Some of them even better than ending song LiSA's Hadashi no step.
First of all i love Rally and Formula1. It was the biggest reason I watched. Definitely worth watch, especially you're interested in related contents. Naozumi was annoying, overly confident and unnecessaryly short tempered. He portrait his character really good. But as a whole story with his older brother made movie slower. I wish there wasn’t any attempt to bring past. Kitamura Takumi was looking so hot in black and red outfit. I wanted to see more competitive scenes with him. Morikawa Aoi's acting brings nothing to this movie. I thought there will be love affair with one of the characters. I think it was on purpose. They played with our dreams. I love this movie, ending satisfied me.
Oizumi Yo and Otani Ryohei's presence as actors are amazing. Yonezu Kenshi's Umi to Shika was matching Rugby scenes well. I felt summer feeling. If you don’t expect romance and want some work, sport and family related drama it's worth watching.
I watched about 3 times and i didn’t know anything about anime or old drama. It was my first time watching Yamazaki Kento and i think that he was too cute but i can't say the same for his acting. Kubota Masataka's acting was amazing. He really suited demonic role. Lol. N looked too weird with that white wig. I also like BGM but there was no ending song, like why? Worth watch.
Okay to be honest first episode was bad. They were treating their teacher who is around 60s was terrible. I couldn't believe why there are many dramas in Japan like this. This drama has many young potential lead actors at that time like Arata Mackenyu, Kitamura Takumi, Murakami Nijiiro, Anna Ishii, Ito Kentaro. So if you're fan of any of them you can give it a try. Still i liked about how they started to cherish their teacher.
Action action action! It was so good. Their moves were so fast. Music was matching so good. Ayano Go's acting was brilliant. Also Yu Shirota and Kawaei Rina were making this movie special.

Since it's adapted from a manga, there are unrealistic elements in it. I couldn't see any romance or chemistry between Akechi and Ichigo. I wanted him to end up with Maria.
But I like support characters, they were good at acting especially Chef.
Music was on the point. Utada Hikaru's Time is still my jam. It matches drama in my head.

I like that detail. If you want romance just a little bit. More like a family station. I almost forgot that Yonezu Kenshi's Kanden. What a genious he is. He created songs which matches perfect for dramas.
I found it interesting enough to watch it 3 times. Maybe you found the story unrealistic but i found it idealistic. And i like how they look from criminal's perspective. Anyway if you want romance there's not, maybe a little bit subtle.
Overall musically MISIA did great job with Boku wa Pegasus Kimi wa Polaris but i'm not sure if it matches the drama's atmosphere.
