People are saying script was writing badly but i don't think it was that bad. I mean it's ordinary japanese crime drama. If you like this genre you'd like it for sure. Also some episodes got my interest.
I can't understand why everybody loves this movie. I mean it's not bad but it's not super good either. First of all i didn't read manga but i found unrealistic how Shin is a big fighter even he hasn't got any muscles or a well built body. He's acting was not bad at some moments though. Yamazaki Kento is not good in expressing love emotions in dramas but when there is no sensuality he's not bad. For Yoshizawa Ryo he was much more better than Yamazaki Kento in my opinion. It's natural to watch his acting. I watch numerous times his works. And this kind of historical characters suited him more. Karyoten was cute i wonder if there will be some romance in the next movie. (i hope.) But i can easyly say other actors like Hongo Kanata, Osawa Takao, Nagasawa Masami shine much more than leads because they had more experiences and strong presence. Also for script it was smooth but something was missing. It was almost slow but some scenes saved the movie. And i expected some traditional music for ending like Ayumi Hamasaki's BALLAD etc. not a rock band song. I watched with high expectations that's why i'm disappointed.
Haru is one of the actresses that i can't stand watching. I don't think she can act. She is just saying her lines. No emotions, no sincerety, the most boring acting ever. Female lead's inner dialogs are exaggerating everything that I would never want to be in a relationship with this kind of person who calculates every detail.
I started this drama with a big passion. It looks mysterious, had many beautiful scenes, i had many imaginations about it but... nope. Story is very slow improving. To be honest without some certain scenes it's boring. I found it realistic how characters also have bad sides. But main girl doesn't any problem. She only struggles because of extarnal forces which i always find weak point of korean dramas. Also i prefered she is an adult woman not a high school girl. Because of that there was no romance. Dramas weakest moment was they were trying to show some subtle romance but she was underage something was missing because main male lead would never do bad things in a korean drama. For now i finished 4 episode but i lost my interest. I wanted some plot twists. Only interesting thing was mystery about magician. But i have an idea already. About music this is also some kind of musical. Their voices were even good comparing to who call themselves singer. But if i'd know it's musical scenes i didn’t watch since it's not my cup of tea.
This was a cute SP. Everything was on the point. Not boring not too fast. Only one thing disturb me. It was Tsubasa Honda's acting. Can she even act or does she know what is acting? I'm embarassed for her.
I checked your 'completed' list and I saw that you only rate Japanese dramas and movies. Have you ever watched…
I watched so many Korean dramas long time ago ( i can't even count), also i'm watching if i'm in the mood or there is interesting plot. I don't remember details that's why i don't rate them. If i want to remember something i rewatch Japanese dramas because it's short. But Korean dramas are longer and i don't wanna watch slowly improving characters. I'm not patient anymore. Of course there are some dramas which i like but not interested to write anything. If you want some recommendation just give me hints like what genre do you like. I rated Promise Cinderella 9 because it was good romantic comedy for a Japanese drama. There were some cliches though. Not my all time favorite. I realized that my favorite genre is not romance.
Ending was absurd to me. Naomi was dating someone but realized that she loves her best friend Mirai (maybe some cheating i couldn't understand that kiss).
She lost her memories and broke up her boyfriend and made a new boyfriend.
After she gained her memories (but fakes it i don't understand why again.).
About the last 5 minutes she came back to Mirai and be with him. What the hell...
Nobody can make me believe that she loves Mirai. Also Mirai didn’t look like he was in depression because finally their relationship was about to start but she forgot him and made a new guy. He looked angry sometimes but not really.
I don't really understand their emotions or meaning all of this.
I watched the trilogy last year. It has really mysterious feeling in it. I didn’t like Ayase Haruka's any other works to be honest. But Balsa suited her the best. She was strong, reliable, fighter woman. I like her character so much. I also like Chagum. His character was born to be a king effortlessly. There was grace and pride in every move in their story. Worth watch, i'll watch again.
First of all, the story between main couple was disgusting. Imagine being in a relationship with your father's mistress. Not only a mistress but also provided drugs for his suidice unwillingly. It was too shocking for Takashi but he forced her so much that she can't help but fell in love. Anyways they were both at fault. It was not surprising for them to broke up. Kyoko Hasegawa was 41 and Sugino Yosuke was 23 but they look good together. They had chemistry unlike any other Japanese actors. I watched Kyoko Hasegawa in Kingyo Tsuma and there were many explicit scenes it was more shocking than this one. So I didn't mind their kissing scenes in here. Actually I like their passionate love, I wish it was more acceptable kind of love story. Anyway rather than cute high schoolers who can't act, I prefer older woman.
I found it mainstream to be honest. Not productionwise but the problem was script. It was boring. I waited so long for a shift or twist. Some kind of excitement but nope. Story was improving little by little and it made me sick. I didn’t watch last 2 episode. But i can imagine. Also both stars Sooyoung and Taejoon were bad. I couldn't feel any emotions from them for each other. There was no single trace of sensuality. They made me feel like they're best friends. I got it they have serious relationships in real life. But in the end they're not professional enough. Also Sooyoung's character's emotions didn’t develop through time. Even Taejoon was trying to impress feelings but Sooyoung was still looking like antifan to me. I like Chansung's acting. He was the most alive person in the drama. Another thing is Taejoon was a world wide famous idol but his singing and dancing was bad. He looks like Jungkook a little bit. Some stage outfits must be inpired from his. Summary; there is no chemistry between leads. Story is slow, expected, boring. And there is a worldwide famous idol who can't sing or dance. Sad but truth.
Glad I'm not the only one who feels that. He just feels empty, like he isn't a bad actor, but it doesn't seem…
I realized many of japanese man doesn't show their emotions for woman. They are good actors but i can't feel passion, sensuality or desire for woman. When they're acting BL dramas or movies i can feel their emotions even more. I think their culture limiting their acting in this point.
I watched again so came here for giving some details. First of all the best episode was the first episode in my opinion. Doing stupid things for puding was so me. Lol. "School is full of sh!t." I like that ending scene. Mackky's friendship with Sakurakoji makes my heart warming.
Nagase Tomoya's acting reminds me Jim Carrey i don't know why. He handled well this anime-like story. His face expressions were awesome.
It's not my first time watching Tegoshi Yuya and i think he has talent, looks, voice for acting. But why he doesn't act anymore, why? Also i'm heart broken that he left NEWS. He's such a fool that i can't even hate him. Because he could be star in dramas like other Johnny's using his company's power or enjoying his old life with NEWS' legacy but nope...
Ending song very good goes well with story. One of the biggest reason for me to watch this drama is TOKIO's song. Such a nostalgic master piece.
