I don't understand why Japanese people are so obsessed with highschoolers. Is it so hard to write a love story about adult woman? I think it's some kind of fetish.
There was no chemistry between them. Usually in student-teacher love stories adults try to put some boundaries even they catch feelings but her teacher was flirting with her. He even kissed her. So there is no room for defending... Not worth watching.
Edit: I watch all of the works of my favorite actors regardless of genre. I'm not writing these comments to persuade you to have the same opinion as me. Everybody has their thoughts and ideas to express. That's called equality and freedom. Seems like some people don’t know what it is. Still you have to respect. Probably they're not living in a democratic country or they're lacking of some basic sense.
I've avoided this drama for a while. Because first episode didn’t really impress me but after that somehow i managed to watch it. Biggest events of the drama starts in episode 5 or 6. So just be patient. Story improving a little slow but worth waiting. It became one of my favorite drama.
They filmed in 2019 just before the covid and interestingly it became real. Scriptwriter must be fortune teller. Anyway there was no love (i do believe it's subtle BL) anyway i really liked their chemistry together. Watching them was fun. Ending was so good but short. I needed more happy scenes with them. Himokura&Takaie were too sweet. Also Nanao's strong woman character suited her very well. BGM and opening music were all good. Worth watch, thank me later.

I mean high schoolers are all the same around the world. Even they don’t tell we know what they think. Lol. Anyway i laughed at Narimiya Hiroki many times. He's such a good actor (wish he still act.) Even though Ninomiya Kazunari is male lead there was no presence at all. I liked his acting in Yamada Tarou Monogatari but this one he was dull. Or maybe his character was like that. Female lead also didn't really feel like main character. She could be support character but as lead she lacked. I dislike ending of Yamashita Tomohisa's character, all of a sudden he changed his mind and gave up on his love. Last 2 episodes were the worst. Because story changed drastically. It became more serious scenario, with this kind of youth story everthing became weight down. I watched because i wanted to know ending, if you are fan of actors you can watch it but if you are not then you're not missing anything.

I think this movie was pretty interesting. The story takes place in 1960s. Main lead Joe was a tragic kind of hero. Atmosphere was dark & gloomy. Yamashita Tomohisa looked very depressive. I don't know if original character has also this kind of air with them. I don't know much about boxing but I feel like actors did well in boxing scenes. But ending didn’t satisfy, there should be sequel because ending made everything worse since story was already melancholic. Ending song is by Utada Hikaru but rather than rock sound i wanted some jazzy song like Moonlight by Yamashita Tomohisa... Worth watch if you’re fan of actors or boxing.
I watched this drama long time ago so i didn’t really remember. In the end i watched again and it impressed me more than before. I believe it's about aging. I watched when i was in high school i couldn't really understand the secret meanings of scenario. But now it touched my heart. Anyway i love Akira here. Unconditional love isn't easy.

It was a family drama with four sisters' lives. Everybody has their own problems, life struggles. You find at least one of your own struggle to sympathize. But love triangle got my interest. For Takemi being beautiful and strong female was tough. She did her best to taking care of her children, doing many jobs, also avoiding many males. I don't find her problematic at all. She wanted to find love when each time she marries. There is nothing wrong about it but society always classified her. I wanted to see more female leads like her. I think her sister Sakurako was at fault. She wanted to marry her boyfriend and listened her friends and acted with their silly advices. In the end she hurt herself. Luckily she had some pride to break up in the end. The biggest problem was Shozaburo's attitude. At first she used Sakurako like a house wife at the same time trying to reach out her sister Takemi in a sneaky way. He tried to handle both at the same time. Finally i started to believe that he fell in love with Takemi seriously but end scene with Sakurako ruined all of my thoughts. Everybody portrayed their character well but story didn't satistfy. I don't really like this kind of uncertain endings. Ending song was mediocre ballad. There was no opening song too. Musically it was somehow naked. It is worth to watch but there were some disappointing moments.
This was the first Taiwanese drama that i've ever watched. Chinese is not my cup of tea. It sounds aggressive to me. So i don't prefer Chinese dramas or music. Also two lead actors were Korean, their voices were not their own voice. It was bad to be honest. Language was a big barrier for this drama for me. Everybody concerned about female leads acting but this drama genre was comedy. I think she handled well anime-like story. Main point was story, it was strong, i like how she did her best even for revenge, in the end she found another love. It gives hope somehow. Yes, there was lack of romance it didn't bother story. I watched this drama spring 2012 on a rainy day. So even now it reminds me those days. Brings back good memories for me. Especially "This Is Love" by Donghae and Henry. I want to watch again in real hd in 1080p with eng sub. Do you know where can i watch?
Actually i don't like dramas which focus on one character every episode. It doesn't feel complete to me. This drama also has this and count it as flaw. Even if you don't do anything, even you don't have dreams or passion you can live your life with a peace in your heart. But every time i worried about Rental-san's wife and baby. It's so hard to grow up a baby and taking care of home. But she really handled well situations. If you're with the person that you love than you can't be more happy than this right? I'm a little bit optimistic but their only problem was money and money doesn't really matter for me. Also i was worried about Rental-san who goes to people's houses. Many bad people out there you know. Could this drama turns out Crime genre? Lol. Sometimes i waited Rental-san to say something but nope. He was boring to watch but also i was wondering what will be next? For ending i really laughed about the swinging scene with Karasawa Toshiaki. Ending song was Beautiful by NEWS good too. Worth watch in free time but lower your expectations.

Nearly ten years ago i listen KAT-TUN's RESCUE and it's my favorite song of theirs. I didn’t know it was theme song of a drama. Now i'm watching this emotional drama with my nostalgic memories.
It gave important life lessons. Maybe you don’t find it realistic but i love to watch characters with idealistic minds because we have never seen them in real life.
If you're craving for romance it's not your cup of tea. But if you want some friendship and sacrificing characters then here you go.
