First two episodes were boring since 2nd episode by male leads perspective. But after that i like it, worth watch if you like romance. There was chemistry between leads unlike many other Japanese dramas. There were many intense, sensual scenes. Plus both leads can act. They did good job.
Of course romance is not necessary for every drama but since i'm Yamapi's fan i wanted to see romance that's all. Also Fukuhara Haruka is so cute, i ship them already. :)
I know translation is hard job but i have no time to download episodes and embed subtitles. (I'm also aware of this sites stealing subs and uses tones of adds for gaining money.) There is a site that i always watch, they're translating in my native language for education and entertainment purposes only. They don't use adds. I've recommented kissasian and dramacool because it's only site that i know in english. (I'm not supporting or promoting these stealers, okay.) Don't you think watching without buying DVD is also not ethic? So we're all doing wrong things at this point. Also i don't think subbers doing a completely pure job, they have no right to translate and gain money in this way. If there is no profit i wonder if they continue. Anyways i'm okay without eng sub, i can understand Japanese mostly.
I also agree it's not the best but absolutely worth watching. Since it's adobted from manga some characters look interesting. If you don’t want this kind of elements don’t watch an adaptation. Even though i have zero interest in gambling i could able to find many tricks. Maybe that's why people didn’t like it. Anyways i like smooth scenario. It was expected but not boring. And acting wise Yokohama Ryusei and Miura Shohei saved the movie. I can't say same thing for other two. Sano Hayato has no presence at all and Shiraishi Mai's talking and acting were really bad. Despite everything i like it, it reminds me Kakegurui but this one was more realistic since they're not high schoolers. If you like that movie then here you go.

Nobody commented this beautiful drama so i'll be. It's 2006 and only had 3 episodes so actually i had zero expectation about story but it hit me hard. If you fall in love easyly and everytime it turn out an unrequited love, here you go it has a strong message for you. You can found yourself crying so hard but also very hopeful. It gives courage to love and confess, rejected and start again. I found myself in this female lead. And i got my lesson here. It's Christmas special so there are many beautiful english songs played in background. Worth watch, very underrated needs more recognition.
I really like story, it is also summary of Yamashita Tomohisa's acting in a good way. He can act silly fun character (Nobuta wo Produce Akira), also act super serious genius (Code Blue Aizawa) at the same time. I wanted Sakuto to be with Rio because she loved him just the way he was. But nope. (There was an amazing beach scene in the night two of them kissing... you should at least watch that.) There was no opening song so it was a problem for me, ending song is also cliche. C'mon! You could find a better song then "The rose"... This work is underrated in many ways but won’t disappoint you. Go and watch, thank me later.
This drama is not that bad but there were some issues in my opinion. It was hard to complete it. Scenario was boring and expected. Lead couple had no chemistry, they looked like best friends but not lovers. They had no passion, especially female lead, she was beautiful and her voice was not high pitched like other Japanese actresses, she was not trying to act cute it was alright. But for acting wise, her feelings didn't reach me. Hanae's giving up was not realistic, she waited 10 years and finally she could able to date him she gave up... The weakest moment of the drama. Many of them moved Tokyo but stayed keep in touch. That episodes were damn boring. Asahi and Natsuki were messaging like high schoolers yet couldn't even confess their love. Wtf? They were all grown adult so... And Asahi's waiting his girlfriend about 3 years were also damn stupid. Why she didn’t say proper goodbye? Didn't Asahi know her adress or family member's number or what job she was working? Waiting in that small town was not only option. It was a blackhole in the scenario. I like soundtrack, some of instrumentals were so good. 9 years ago i couldn't able to watch it because i found story bad, now i'm still thinking in the same way. If you like slow paced beach love stories here you go. But not so worth watching.
It was enjoyable but not as much as Season 2. It's because i don't really like new characters. (Some of are also really bad at acting.) And Aizawa went to Toronto in the end without even considering his relationship with Shiraishi, is he a robot, how can he not able to fall in love after 7 years?? He doesn't have any family members or girlfriend it's not that realistic. Same thing with Shiraishi. She's working so hard for what? There must be romance between them or any other character. I was not waiting romance as a big part of series but still it was needed for character's growing. Movie is a sequel for this season and we saw Aizawa as he's closest to human being. He was injured and they saved this for the movie as a killing part of it. It worked but still not enough.
