i think the fl falls into the morally gray category because she lies, manipulates evidence, protects the real culprit, and sabotages the investigation, yet there seems to be an emotional reason behind her actions. She’s also ambiguous, like I mentioned before she follows her abusive father’s orders even after he hurts her. It’s unclear whether she’s an accomplice, a victim, a manipulator… or maybe all of those at once. This lack of clarity about her true intentions can be frustrating, but maybe that’s what the writers intended😉

War comedies usually fall into the trap of mockery or caricature. This one doesn’t. It respects its characters. It laughs with them, never at them. So when the drama hits, it doesn’t feel forced it feels earned. This is a film that makes you chuckle softly, then quietly floors you with a truth that doesn’t come with a punchline

At first, I thought Se Hyeon was a totally complex character, but after these last two episodes, I’m left feeling conflicted. She doesn’t fit into the ‘good’ or ‘bad’ category her decisions really make you question things. She’s a character with actions and intentions that are ambiguous, but also really complex emotionally and psychologically.

The movie touches on themes like aging, worth, and loneliness in a very subtle way. Hornclaw isn’t your typical hero; she’s tough, emotionally closed off at times, and clearly shaped by the brutal life she’s led. That’s what makes the film feel real and grounded, rather than just another action flick.
