Also .... "Babette's Feast" has left an indelible impression on me... I vividly remember some of its images, despite having forgotten the plot... "A Feast for the Eyes"!
Story sounds good ... please writers, give us good characters and a reasonable plot to go w/ it... I also hope it has all the lovely things from "Sud Sai Pan" w/out the writers ruining the second half as they did in SSP....
As a couple, they look great together, and are fun to watch!

Worth watching for Chakrit and Anne .... Great to see two of the very best actors together ... I love how Chakrit can play a man head-over-heals in love, who's very patient and supportive of her crazy antics , YET ... still remain a mature, confident, and reasonable gentleman --->>> Never seeming weak , even when being rejected or used by the heroine ... ..... A Real Man w/ Smexy written all over him !!!... ;) Anne was excellent as the stubborn hot-head detective.... Strong and independent w/out being over-bearing !!! ... Plus, she was very funny!
They made these characters come alive, and gave them charm .... Lesser actors would not have been able to achieve it!!
The story was just so-so .... but their interactions were a lot of fun.
Very, very good! ....good story, no inconsistencies ... But, annoying craziness w/ typical psycho females, but the rest is filled w/ a lot of love, angst, and jealousy...;)
Pong is very good and very Hot here! ... Aom Phiyada is a very good actress!!! .... and I really like Oh A., the actor who plays Pe!

--- "Bow See Chompoo " --- Krit & Angie ...similar strong bickering couple ... awesome female ... Sizzling Chemistry!!
--- "Nung Nai Sueng" --- Ken & Janie ... lots of Verbal bickering :D ...more witty banter, less mean pranks.
If you like the Lead Actor w/ his love/hate angst , tons of jealousy, a strong but not as spunky female lead:
--- "Proong Nee Gor Ruk Ter" --- Pong & Aom Ph. .... good writing....Pong at his best ... couple is great....Too much evil craziness tho.
Similar to above story of 1st love revenge , similar to BRG w/ child:
--- "Ngao Hua Jai" --- New & Noon.... very good writing & acting & chemistry ...everything makes sense...Well-developed characters...love/hate/angst/jealousy... no evil N'rai, no craziness ... But female is a bit too passive at first.
If you like the Spunky Lead Actress , love/hate angst & jealousy , and a child:
--- "Wimarn Sai"--- Chakrit & Bee ... Worth watching Chakrit's jealousy/angst.. Beware senseless R-scene :(( .... Just ignore, later they imply as if she was willing ....side characters all annoying ... Typical story done well tho , fast pace n short !!
If you like Fun Bickering Couple , good , but (imo) not as great as the ones listed above:
--- "Duang Jai Akkanee" --- Nadech & Yaya .... u can't beat their cuteness and Chemistry!
--- "The Rising Sun" Series 1 & 2 --- Nadech & Yaya .... strong female & fun bickering.
If you like the fun antics:
--- "Taddao Bussaya " --- Por & Punch ... Cute couple (gender bender).

--- "Mafia Dragon Blood: Suer " --- Ananda & Kim .....very romantic!! ... great chemistry, spunky female ..... BUT plot is bit contrived in Suer, needed more consistency :(

This was my first lakorn, and to sum it up, it was the craziest, unrealistic, most nonsensical drama I have watched…
Hahaha ... the shock of a first Lakorn ... a whole new world, right?
--- Craziness comes w/ lakorns.... some more than others ... but they usually have one token psycho female - recognized by her red lipstick ....lol.
--- The self-sacrificing 'Noble Idiot' is also often present ... sometimes it comes in the form of a strong smart woman, other times as a naive stupid girl. Pueng was very unrealistic in her sense of obligation.
--- "glaring lack of accountability for some criminal acts" ... when I first started watching lakorns, I thought it was the Wild Wild West ;) .... Guns and shootings are commonplace, and in Slap/Kiss Lakorns, so is kidnapping and rape :( ....
--- but one thing I learned, is that once a couple sleeps together, they are considered husband and wife ... and parents approve, even if it is not 'Legally' registered,
--- some are dragged out needlessly at the end :P
--- Blatant bad editing in every single lakorn that I've seen ... I ignore it now!
One thing that was very disappointing is how until the end she never clearly let go of SY. So it's hard to understand…
I totally agree... that's the mistake of the director ... he should have let the drama follow a single arc to the storyline - Pairing Su-Man w/ LLC!

I always thought her obsession w/ YS is silly, but when you explain that it is due to her lack of self-confidence in being able to find love elsewhere, it truly explains why she could not see Lu Li-Cheng's love for her ... She was afraid to let go of her 'Idealistic' vision...

Of course, I loved the confidence she showed at work and by standing up to Lu Li-Cheng.... I think he is a perfect specimen of manhood, in the qualities that he has... and she is a very good match for him... One of my favorite romances and favorite couple!!!

As amazing as it was raw, it is soooooo much better w/ Subs !!!
and.... the characters are better than in the novel ! .... Here, Pei Lin is also ambitious and selfish, but his love for her is unconditional and unwavering... He's a romantic and a deep passionate lover!
She is encouraged by her father to be a 'Modern' Independent woman... she is very intelligent and stronger than she seems.
A beautiful story, an Endless Love.
The script is full of symbolism... As she described the Orchid : "Graceful yet not Showy, Gentle yet not Fragile", Peilin compared her to the orchid, as having the same qualities!
The poem she first reads on the train: "Sadness lingers in Happiness, like a serpent laying in wait in a beautiful flowery bush...."
an Amazing performance by Wallace Chung ! .... He's best at playing Powerful, Confident, Intelligent and Passionate heroes !!!
