and Wow !!! You just reminded me of some of the silliness .... I remember the islanders were very silly, but some of them were also very funny! .... I still prefer the comedy of the K-version tho , it was very smart !!!
Very Manly .... He's the definition of Smexy !!!.... Very attractive and an excellent actor w/ lots of charisma on screen! ... and always Confident, mature and intelligent! Would love to see more of him... ... Simply love his irresistible charm!

I know about SWAK... I read excerpts translated from the novel on JoleCole.Blogspot .... She was stronger in the novel .... and it seems the author had her handle her situation in a psychologically realistic rather than idealistic (i.e. romanticized) way....
And that's why I liked "Sawan Biang" more ... b/c the writers (and the acting) created well-developed characters, w/ behavior that made sense psychologically.

If you're disappointed she ended up w/ Hiroto, I agree w/ you .... It does not make sense .... She is a much better fit w/ Tachibana .... Have a fling w/ the young guy... But .... get Real !!! ... Tachibana is better for her future, and they have much more in common.
I mean Miura Haruma is very cute , but Naohito is very handsome also .... Two gorgeous men ! .... ...... ...... the audience must have been very young , at least the ones who responded to the online poll that is :(

True, true ...... I also liked the continuity of the Korea story-line here .... But that alone is not enough ..... .... and Mike is good looking, but Rain is very sexy and cute also ..... ..... I could not stand the female in this version , Song Hye-Kyo was adorable in the K-version, and a much better actress - cute, not childish or annoying...
Despite the K-version having some issues , it still had lots of memorable moments....
I have re-watched the K-version .... I would Not re-watch this version !

But the story had its good parts, in some places better than the K-version...
Nonetheless , as a whole , the K-version is much better w/ better humor, better characters, and better acting.
Just watched the 1st 10 minutes and had to stop and comment about Krit, the lead actor (my 1st encounter w/ him):
1st - He's more handsome than the photo w/ nice eyes and a Great smile! ...... 2nd - he makes a beautiful woman, ...... 3rd - He's a very good actor ...... 4th - he has loads of charm and charisma ......
...... What a Manly man !.....Complete Fangirling xD
EDIT: Finished it, but stuck w/ it just for Chakrit's sake.... Really drags towards the end... Por is a very good actor, and also worth watching him and his character.... the lead actress is OK,!... out of her league w/ the very Manly ChaKrit...
Krit is very passionate, but the script did not have enough umphh , despite having lots of fun parts!!!
