Ohh... and I love how in the beginning he always called her you "Naughty Thing" or that "Troublemaker" ....XD
Her teasing really got to him ... their escapades together were a lot of fun!!

This started out strong... lots of angst and an interesting lead couple , that was fun to watch.
..... BUT ...Just as @Cheer said below , as soon as the wicked twin stepped in , it was no longer fun.... They took it over the top and lots of things stopped making sense...
--- I wish they would not have made the twins so black or white ... if their characters were gray , it would have been more interesting to watch him struggle w/ his emotions... and then , his confusion would have made a lot more sense.
---- Plus , it dragged in the last 3-4 episodes , just repetitive and no plot advancement...
---- for the reasons listed above I deducted 3 pts from the total rating ...(despite loving the first half)
Yet another Version of the Condor Heroes !?!? .... Seriously , can't they come-up w/ some new ideas ? ... besides…
I guess we agree .... But , I seem to prefer the older versions of these stories...
Probably exactly b/c of what u said about the producers know that the story is good ..... so, imo , they'll just take the ' Easy-Way Out ' ... Use a ' Sure-Thing ' to make money and propel some new rising stars .....
Maybe that's why the C-dramas that r not remakes seem to be a lot Better !! ... since there's more effort ..... and a lot Fresher !!!
I have not yet seen "Eagle Shooting Heroes" w/ Leslie Cheung .... It is on my PTW list , along w/ many other Leslie movies... and other Hong-Kong classics ... I love them... and Love Leslie <3<3<3
The HK classics were my first exposure to Chinese films ... That is , before
Zhang Yimou's films started appearing (He's simply Great !!! <3<3<3)
Excellent drama, I enjoyed it immensely. Often, watching the drama of the royal family I could not imagine, but…
Thanks again for posting the link ... now other MDLers can enjoy it also ... :D "Graceful" is a great description of the leads and their romance .... and I'll say it again : in this lakorn ---- Nat is an excellent and beautiful actress .... who can be Strong yet graceful and regal. ---- Num is a good also w/ looks and voice that ooze a Smoldering Sensuality .... and he has the qualities of the King, a soulful Romantic as well as a Strong Confident leader...
The story plot seemed intriguing at first , and it just got better and better !! ... Lots of angst and tension towards the end... The last 1/3 was soooo Great !!!...
I didn't like how Bie made Kobori a bit like a fool at first , but , he quickly gained dignity and became a hunk of a man ... balancing all the responsibilities and being torn b/w love and duty ... I simply love how he handled everything ....a true Hero !!! .... (w/ a very manly chest *wink**wink*)
I also like how they explained how stubborn and proud she is .. so even though some of her choices seemed idiotic , they actually made sense and were consistent w/ her personality !!
I also liked the comic relief for once... Uncles Bua and Phon started out annoying but quickly became hilarious as "The Troublemakers" ....
Bie and Noona had very good chemistry ....
Yet another Version of the Condor Heroes !?!? .... Seriously , can't they come-up w/ some new ideas ? ... besides…
Yes, I do realize that the novels are great ... But so many versions of "Legend of the Condor Heroes" , "Return of the Condor Heroes" , "Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber" , "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devil" , The Four Great Classics (i.e. "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", etc...) , "The Butterfly Lovers" , "Warriors of the Yang Clan" , "Chinese Ghost Story" , etc...etc...etc...
--- There's at least one version per decade for most of the stories above ... I was just wondering why they keep re-doing the same thing so often ....(besides the fact that the stories are great and worth watching).
..... At least "Eagle Shooting Heroes" I heard is a great parody w/ Leslie Cheung... so it tried to add freshness sto the same old stories ... :D
--->>> I love the historical C-dramas and wish more were subbed ... But I also love newer stories and wish shows like "Battle of Chansha" , and "Too Late to Say I Love You" are subbed.
--->>> C-dramas have become my favorites , and I find them very refreshing , thus the complaint about too many remakes....
.... I want more of the new ones like "The Cage of Love" and "The Stand-In" to air and be subbed .... since they have quotas in China , I don't want the airing shows to be wasted on the remakes.
--->>> My complaint sounded like a criticism of C-dramas ; when in reality , what I am really complaining about is
--->>> my Un-Quenched DESIRE for MORE new C-dramas to be subbed !!! ...*crossing fingers*
I hope my explanation made sense :)
All the questions I'v asked myself while watching.... Right on the money...Exactly... !!!!!!!!
Why? Nande? Weh? ..... *still scratching head*
BRILLIANT article ... Well said .... LMAO...!!!!
One of the sexiest roles for Fujiki Naohito .... His Eyes in this drama are particularly captivating ... *swoooon*
Whenever he's on screen I could not help but be lost in his Smoldering Eyes and Sensual Smile.
The story is good and deals w/ mature relationships and romance.
Did that really happen in "Dream High" ??? ... If it did, I can see why....
I know that in both "Queen of Reversals" and "How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor" , the script was changed , after the show started airing , so as to make Park Si-Hoo the main lead !!! ....
He became popular and a fan favorite... so they gave him more screen time and he ended up w/ the girl .
The only other show I know of is "Last Cinderella" ... But, the producers POLLED the audience to decide which guy will end up w/ the girl in the last episode... (both were leads up to that point) ...
I disagree w/ the conclusion for that one , she belonged w/ the other guy ...Oh well !
Excellent drama, I enjoyed it immensely. Often, watching the drama of the royal family I could not imagine, but…
Yes, I like young Janie and loved young Ken in "Nung Nai Sueng" .... But, sometimes she is not expressive enough :( Did u see the 2007 "Dung Duang Haruetai" w/ Weir??.... heard the heroine is not as strong and the production is bad.
is in spoiler below.
